Abstract

Islamic educational psychology is one of the important foundations in the learning process thatis not only oriented toward the mastery of knowledge but also toward the development of students’character. In the context of modern education, the integration of psychological and spiritual values inlearning has become increasingly important to create a holistic educational process. This article aims toexamine how the concept of Islamic educational psychology is applied in the learning process and itsimplications for the development of students’ character. The research questions in this study are: (1) howthe concept of Islamic educational psychology is discussed in the scientific literature, and (2) how itinfluences character formation in the learning process.This study uses a systematic literature review methodby searching for articles in several academic databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and Sinta. Thesearch was conducted using the keywords “Islamic educational psychology,” “learning,” and “students’character.” From the literature selection process of articles published between 2015–2024, 20 relevantarticles were obtained for analysis.The results of the review indicate that Islamic educational psychologyemphasizes a balance between cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects in the learning process. In addition,the literature shows that this approach plays an important role in shaping moral values, religious attitudes,and students’ learning motivation. In conclusion, Islamic educational psychology has a significantcontribution to the development of students’ character through an integrative learning process. Futureresearch is recommended to examine the empirical implementation of this concept in various Islamiceducational institutions.

Abstract

Government programs for teacher accreditation are designed to enhance the professional standing and well-being of instructors. This investigation seeks to ascertain how teacher accreditation contributes to elevating instructors' skill levels and the caliber of their performance, while also pinpointing difficulties encountered during its execution. The investigation employs a qualitative methodology, incorporating on-site investigations and examinations of existing texts. Information was gathered via discussions, direct observation, record examination, and scholarly article analysis. Methods for analyzing the gathered information encompassed data simplification, information display, and the formulation of conclusions. The findings suggest that the accreditation of teachers positively influences advancements in teaching skills, enthusiasm for work, adherence to rules, and the general welfare of educators. Accredited instructors demonstrate a greater inclination toward actively enhancing their professional proficiencies. Nevertheless, the process of accreditation continues to encounter various impediments, including intricate paperwork, training initiatives that lack practical applicability, and disparities in the distribution of financial incentives for professional development. Consequently, a reassessment and refinement of the accreditation strategy are required to ensure its more successful application and to foster enhancements in the overall quality of national education.

Abstract

Educational regulations play a crucial role in regulating the implementation of the education system to ensure it aligns with national education goals. However, various problems persist in their implementation, such as rapid policy changes, inconsistencies between regulations and school conditions, and a lack of preparedness among educators to adapt to new regulations. These conditions impact the learning process, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the challenges faced by educational regulations and their impact on the learning process. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation within the school environment. The results indicate that the challenges faced by educational regulations cause difficulties for teachers in administering learning, limited time for curriculum implementation, and decreased classroom learning effectiveness. Furthermore, poorly structured regulatory changes also create confusion for schools in implementing educational policies. Educational regulations need to be formulated more consistently, adaptively, and take into account real-world conditions in schools to ensure effective and optimal learning.

Abstract

Gender equality in education is an important aspect in creating a fair, inclusive, and humane educational system. This study aims to determine the implementation of educational politics and ethics in realizing gender equality at SMP Negeri 2 Plumpang. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with one of the teachers, Mrs. Ike, as the main informant. The results of the study indicate that the school has implemented the principles of gender equality through non-discriminatory policies, providing equal opportunities for students in both academic and non-academic activities, and applying educational ethics that emphasize justice and respect for every individual regardless of gender. In addition, the supporting factors for the implementation of gender equality include school policies, teachers’ awareness, support from the principal, an inclusive curriculum, and parental participation. However, there are still obstacles in the form of cultural stereotypes and public understanding that still differentiate the roles of men and women. Therefore, the implementation of educational politics and ethics has an important role in creating a school environment that is inclusive, safe, and supportive of the optimal development of students’ potential.

Abstract

The torch parade is a religious tradition that continues to be preserved by the community as a form of commemorating religious events and strengthening social cohesion. This activity aims to enhance reigious values, reinforce social solidarity, and preserve local culture within the community. The parade is held at night after religious activities at the mosque and involves participants from various age groups, ranging from children to adults. The implementation method consists of several stages, including planning, preparation, execution, and closing, using a participatory approach. KKN students actively collaborate with the community in every stage, from coordination and torch-making using simple materials such as bamboo and coconut fiber to the execution of the parade. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted descriptively. The results indicate that the torch parade was carried out smoothly, orderly, and safely according to the planned arrangements. The event was also enlivened by traditional tambua tasa music, which enhanced participants’ enthusiasm and attracted community attention. In addition to its religious function, the torch parade symbolizes the light of faith and reflects values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and social solidarity. This activity provides benefits in religious, social, and cultural aspects. Future efforts should focus on improving planning, ensuring safety, and encouraging youth participation to sustain and develop this tradition in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of political education values and Islamic boarding school ethics in shaping the leadership character of students at Adnan Al-Charish Islamic Boarding School. Political education within the pesantren environment plays a strategic role in forming students who possess ethical political understanding, polite social attitudes, and the ability to respond wisely to various social and political issues. In addition, pesantren ethics emphasizing obedience to Allah and teachers, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and simplicity serve as essential foundations in developing students’ leadership character. This study employed a qualitative approach using library research methods. The data sources were obtained from various literature materials, including books, scientific journals, articles, and relevant documents related to the research topic. Data analysis techniques were conducted through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Adnan Al-Charish Islamic Boarding School integrates political education values through student organizational activities, deliberation practices, religious studies, and the exemplary leadership of the kiai in daily life. Furthermore, pesantren ethical values such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and simplicity are implemented as efforts to shape students’ leadership character. However, several challenges remain, including students’ limited understanding of practical politics and the influence of external social environments. This study concludes that the implementation of political education values and pesantren ethics contributes significantly to the formation of students’ leadership character. Therefore, continuous strengthening and development of these values are necessary to create a generation of students who possess integrity, noble character, and strong leadership qualities.

Abstract

The policy of accelerating certification and the Madrasah Professional Teacher Allowance (TPG) in 2026 is one of the government's strategic steps to improve the professionalism and welfare of madrasah teachers in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the policy of accelerating teacher certification through the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program and accelerating the disbursement of TPG from the perspective of teacher welfare. The study used library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from national journals, government regulations, scientific articles, official news reports from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and various relevant literature sources.The results indicate that the policy of accelerating madrasah teacher certification in 2026 demonstrates the government's commitment to improving the quality of Islamic education and human resources in madrasahs. Teacher certification not only serves as professional recognition of teacher competence but is also a primary requirement for obtaining the Teacher Professional Allowance. The accelerated disbursement of TPG through the digital systems EMIS and SIMPATIKA has had a positive impact on teacher welfare, particularly in increasing income, work motivation, and the quality of learning in madrasahs.policy implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limited PPG quotas, delays in data validation, digital administration constraints, and unequal welfare for non-certified and honorary madrasa teachers. Furthermore, there remains a gap in access between public and private madrasa teachers to the certification program.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought about significant transformations in the world of education, particularly in mathematics learning at the elementary school level. This study analyzes the trend of innovation in digital-based mathematics learning media in elementary schools through a literature review method of various scientific articles and journals. The results of the analysis show a shift in the trend from conventional or physical teaching aids to interactive digital media such as animated videos, educational games, multimedia, and Augmented Reality (AR), among others. Digital learning media has proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation, understanding of abstract concepts, and mathematical problem-solving skills. Despite its effectiveness, the implementation of digital learning media still faces various challenges in the form of gaps in technology access and limited digital competencies possessed by teachers. This study recommends the need for equitable distribution of digital-based infrastructure and continuous technology training for teachers at the elementary school level.

Abstract

School-Based Management has become a strategic approach to improving the quality of education through granting broader authority to schools or madrasahs in managing resources independently, participatively, and accountably. However, the implementation of School-Based Management in various madrasahs still faces challenges, particularly the limited involvement of stakeholders in decision-making processes and educational quality development. This article aims to analyze the importance of stakeholder empowerment in supporting the successful implementation of School-Based Management as a strategy for improving madrasah quality. This study employed a literature review method by examining various scientific sources, including books, journal articles, and relevant educational policy documents. The findings indicate that the active involvement of principals, teachers, students, parents, school committees, and the community can strengthen the effectiveness of madrasah management, improve the quality of learning, encourage a participatory culture, and reinforce institutional transparency and accountability. Furthermore, stakeholder empowerment contributes to the creation of a conducive learning environment that supports sustainable quality improvement. Therefore, optimizing the role of stakeholders is an essential factor in establishing effective, adaptive, and high-quality madrasah governance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the planning management of the Al-Qur’an Reading and Writing (BTA) program at Al-Hijrah Gandus TPA in Palembang City. The background of this study is the importance of planning in supporting the success of Al-Qur’an learning to improve students’ ability to read and write the Qur’an. The focus of the study includes analysis of program needs, formulation of objectives, preparation of programs and schedules, preparation of resources (ustadzah, facilities, and funds), and the effectiveness of BTA program planning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving ustadzah as key informants in the planning and implementation process. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that the planning of the BTA program has been implemented systematically through needs identification, objective setting, structured program and schedule preparation, and adequate resource allocation. The planning process is considered effective, as the program runs according to schedule and contributes to the improvement of students’ Qur’an reading and writing abilities.
