Abstract

Conflict is a phenomenon that cannot be separated from organizational life, including in educational institutions. Differences in individual backgrounds, interests, leadership styles, and communication patterns often become factors that trigger the emergence of conflict within organizations. Therefore, understanding the sources of conflict and the levels of conflict is important to create a conducive organizational environment that supports the performance of organizational members. This study aims to examine and analyze previous studies related to the sources and levels of conflict in educational organizations using a literature review approach. The research method used is a systematic literature review by examining scientific articles relevant to the research topic. The search for articles was conducted through the Google Scholar database and the Publish or Perish (PoP) application by entering keywords related to the research topic. The criteria for the selected articles include scientific articles published in journals and conference proceedings within the last five years (2020–2025) and openly accessible to the public. Based on the initial search results, 50 articles were obtained. After the screening and selection process based on topic relevance, 5 scientific articles were selected for further analysis. The results of the review indicate that the sources of conflict in educational organizations generally originate from differences in interests, cultural backgrounds, leadership styles, ineffective communication, and work motivation. Conflicts can occur at various levels, namely intrapersonal conflict, interpersonal conflict, group conflict, and organizational conflict. Furthermore, psychological management and organizational leadership approaches play an important role in managing conflicts so that they do not hinder organizational performance and can even be utilized as a means to improve performance and the quality of working relationships within educational organizations.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) is an important foundation in shaping the quality of human resources because early childhood is in the golden age period, which requires optimal stimulation to support all aspects of development, especially social-emotional development. Children’s social-emotional development still faces various challenges, such as limited ability to control emotions, difficulty interacting with peers, and low ability to express feelings appropriately. This study aims to analyze the implementation of special service management through collaboration with parents in improving early childhood social-emotional development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a library research approach through collecting data from books, scientific journals, academic articles, and other relevant official documents. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns, relationships, and main findings. The results show that special service management in Early Childhood Education includes counseling services,transportation, school health services, extracurricular activities, cooperatives, and other supporting services that cansupport children’s development. Collaboration between teachers and parents through active communication, involvement in school programs, and consistent stimulation at home has been proven to support children’s social-emotional development optimally. Therefore, synergy between Early Childhood Education institutions and parents is an important factor in the success of early childhood education services.

Abstract

The development of modern organizations demands continuous innovation to maintain effective performance and competitiveness. In this context, the human factor is a crucial element determining organizational success. Management psychology presents itself as an approach that integrates psychological principles with management practices to understand individual behavior within organizations, such as motivation, communication, leadership, and group dynamics. However, various previous studies still tend to discuss psychological aspects partially and have not comprehensively examined the relationship between management psychology, organizational culture innovation, and their impact on organizational effectiveness and profitability. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and synthesize various literature studies on the role of management psychology as a driver of organizational culture innovation in improving organizational effectiveness and performance. This study uses a literature review method by searching for scientific articles through the Google Scholar database with the help of the Publish or Perish application. The keywords used are "management psychology" and "organizational culture innovation." From the initial search process, 10 articles were obtained, then selected based on the inclusion criteria of publication year 2019–2025, topic relevance, and availability of open access, resulting in 5 articles for in-depth analysis. The results of the literature synthesis reveal three main themes: the role of management psychology in human resource development, leadership formation and organizational culture, and increasing organizational effectiveness and innovation. These findings indicate that a management psychology approach contributes to increased motivation, work engagement, and the creation of an innovative organizational culture. Future research is recommended to examine these relationships empirically to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the implementation of management psychology in various organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of contextual-based learning strategies in linking instructional materials to students’ daily lives. The contextual approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning) emphasizes students’ active involvement in constructing knowledge through real-life experiences, thereby fostering meaningful learning. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the implementation of contextual-based learning strategies significantly enhances students’ conceptual understanding, strengthens critical thinking skills, and increases learning motivation. Learning becomes more relevant and applicable as the materials are directly connected to students’ real-life contexts, including family, school, and community environments. The implementation of this strategy involves various methods, such as problem-based learning, group discussions, and the use of real-life case studies. However, several challenges were identified, including time constraints, teachers’ readiness, and differences in students’ characteristics. In conclusion, contextual-based learning strategies are effective in creating meaningful and relevant learning experiences connected to students’ daily lives. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence and providing supportive educational environments are essential to optimize the implementation of this approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of student management in supporting early childhood adaptation in the school environment. The problem addressed is that many young children experience difficulties in adapting to a new school environment, such as lack of confidence, difficulty in social interaction, and inability to follow learning activities. This study uses a literature review approach by analyzing various journals and relevant scientific sources related to student management and early childhood adaptation. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies of scientific articles obtained from various databases. The results show that effective student management through school programs such as habituation activities, school environment introduction, and group play activities plays an important role in supporting children's adaptation process. In addition, the role of teachers and the school environment are also supporting factors in creating comfort and readiness for children to learn. Therefore, effective student management can help early childhood adapt optimally in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis best practice Total Quality Management (TQM) berbasis perbaikan berkelanjutan di SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah dan kepala tata usaha sebagai informan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TQM di sekolah ini telah berjalan secara sistematis melalui siklus perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang berkelanjutan. Perencanaan dilakukan melalui rapat kerja berdasarkan hasil evaluasi sebelumnya, pelaksanaan didukung oleh program seperti Focus Group Discussion (FGD), supervisi pembelajaran, dan pelatihan guru, sedangkan evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui rapat koordinasi dan evaluasi semester. Praktik terbaik yang menonjol adalah digitalisasi pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dalam konsep digital school, didukung oleh program unggulan seperti kelas ICT dan Tahfidz. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dan adaptasi guru terhadap teknologi, sekolah telah melakukan berbagai upaya melalui pelatihan dan inovasi pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan TQM memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, budaya kerja, serta kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sekolah.

Abstract

Work stress is a condition of tension that creates an imbalance between physical, cognitive, affective, behavioral, and psychological symptoms, which affect the emotions, thought processes, and condition of an employee/staff member. Workload is a number of activities or tasks that must be completed by a worker within a certain period, which in its implementation requires the capability of an individual. This study aims to examine the effect of Workload (variable X) on Work Stress (variable Y). The population in this study includes all employees at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of Padang City, totaling 111 people. The sample in this study consists of 87 people using Cochran's formula with a confidence level of 95%. The technique for determining the sample in each stratum is the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research results indicate that there is a significant influence of workload on job stress of employees at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Padang City, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t count = 6.521 > t table 1.662 as well as the regression coefficient value of 0.471, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Workload variable (X) on the Job Stress variable (Y).

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of employee work in carrying out their duties and responsibilities which is measured through quality, quantity, timeliness, and effectiveness of their contribution in achieving the organization. Direct supervisor supervision is a control process carried out actively and continuously by superiors towards subordinates during the implementation of work, with the aim of ensuring conformity between task implementation and organizational plans. This study aims to see the effect of direct supervisor supervision (variable X) on employee performance variables (variable Y). The population in this study were 111 employees of the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Padang City. The sample in this study amounted to 87 employees using the Cochran formula with a confidence level of 95%. The technique for determining samples in each stratum section was using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of direct supervisor supervision on the performance of employees of the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Padang City. With a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a regression coefficient value of 0.593. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the direct supervisor supervision variable (X) on the employee performance variable (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the performance differences between senior teachers (teaching experience >10 years) and junior teachers (<10 years) in managing learning at public junior high schools in Padang Utara District. A quantitative approach with a descriptive comparative design was used. The sample consisted of 102 teachers selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring four indicators: quality, quantity, timeliness, and responsibility. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney U non-parametric test. The results showed that the performance of both groups was in the "Good" category, with the Respondent Achievement Rate of senior teachers at 86.25% and junior teachers at 80.64%. The hypothesis test (Sig. 0.001 < 0.05) proved a significant difference. Senior teachers are superior in quality stability and timeliness, while junior teachers excel in learning interactions but face challenges in time management.

Abstract

As an integral part of the community service contributions of Universitas Negeri Padang, students play a crucial role in applying various fields of knowledge gained during their studies for the advancement of society across different sectors. In line with this principle, Community Service Program (CSP) students from Universitas Negeri Padang actively participated through the implementation of a socialization program conducted in the Sungai Limau region during the January june 2026 period. The program carries the theme "Bullying Prevention in the School Environment," driven by the high urgency of protecting children against physical, verbal, and cyberbullying. The implementation method followed three systematic stages planning, preparation, and execution utilizing lectures, interactive discussions, and ice breaking techniques to enhance student enthusiasm. The service subjects included students at SDN 18, SDN 26, SDN 12, SDN 22, SDN 41, and SDN 38 Sungai Limau. Observational results indicate that this socialization significantly improved students' understanding of the negative impacts of bullying and the importance of empathy. Despite variations in participation levels at several schools due to logistical constraints, the program overall successfully encouraged students' courage to reject and report bullying incidents. The creation of a safe, inclusive, and conducive school environment for learning highly depends on the sustained synergy between students, teachers, parents, and the broader community.
