Abstract

Used clothing is an item that is worn by humans to cover their bodies but has been worn previously by other people and is a potential source of skin disease due to the growth of yeast or mold. This research aims to determine the number of yeast molds on used clothes sold in the city of Mataram. This research is descriptive exploratory in nature, while the used clothing in the study consisted of 11 samples which came from used clothing sold at Bertais market and Karang Sukun market. Based on the research results, it was found that the number of yeast mold colonies on used clothes from the Bertais market in sample 1 was 624,175 cfu/ml, in sample 2 colonies was 6,583,460 cfu/ml, in sample 3 colonies it was found to be 5,413,860 cfu/ml, in sample 4 it was obtained the number of colonies was 776,450 cfu/ml, and in sample 5 the number of colonies was 7,336,260 cfu/ml. Contamination of the number of yeast mold colonies found in used clothing at the Bertais market was less than the yeast mold contamination of clothing at the Karang Sukung market with the number of colonies in sample 1 being 27,244,700 cfu/ml, the colony in sample 2 was 4,688,888 cfu/ml, the number of colonies in sample 1 was 27,244,700 cfu/ml, the colony in sample 2 was 4,688,888 cfu/ml, sample 3 obtained as much as 5,989,880 cfu/ml, colony sample 4 obtained as much as 8,807,140 cfu/ml, colony sample 5 obtained as much as 1,634,333 cfu/ml, and colony sample 6 obtained as much as 5,545,640 cfu/ml.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a practicum based biology module  for class X SMA Tahfiz Al-Batthawi NWDI Kerongkong. In this development research refers to the ADDIE development model which is carried out through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed was validated and assessed by 1 material expert and 1 media expert. The limited trial in this study was given to 15 students of class X. The instruments in this study were a check list questionnaire and evaluation questions. Data analysis was carried out by scoring using a Likert scale, then calculating the average of each aspect. The results of the assessment of material experts are 85% and the results of the assessment of media experts are 93%. While the results of the student response questionnaire in the very feasible category, namely 85%. Thus, this module is suitable to be used as a teaching material in the biology learning process.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep penting untuk mencapai keberhasilan pembelajaran sains. Pemahaman konsep adalah kemampuan untuk memahami konsep yang mencakup kemampuan untuk menangkap berbagai jenis pemahaman, termasuk mengungkapkan informasi dalam bentuk lain yang dapat dipahami, memberikan interpretasi, dan mengklasifikasikannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bayan tahun ajaran 2023/2024 materi komponen ekosistem dan interaksi antar komponen dengan total subjek penelitian sebanyak 40 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes berbentuk essay yang berjumlah tujuh butir soal berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep. Analisis data secara deskriptif dengan menentukan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa dalam bentuk persentase sehingga kondisi pemahaman konsep subjek penelitian dapat digambarkan dengan jelas. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa memiliki rata-rata 55,33 dengan kategori sedang. Selanjutnya persentase pemahaman konsep tertinggi adalah kategori sedang sebesar 70% yang terdiri dari 28 orang siswa, 8 orang siswa memperoleh kategori tinggi dengan persentase 20%. Perolehan terendah adalah kategori sangat tinggi dan rendah masing-masing 5% dengan frekuensi masing-masing 2 orang siswa. Berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep, indikator tertinggi adalah mengklasifikasikan dengan rata-rata 71,78, sedangkan indikator menyimpulkan menjadi yang terendah dengan perolehan rata-rata 40,53. Temuan ini menyimpulkan pemahaman konsep siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bayan tergolong rendah.  Kata kunci: Evaluasi; Pemahaman Konsep; Ekosistem

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penambahan tepung tentakel gurita (Octopus sp) pada pakan komersil terhadap pertumbuhan ikan lele (Clarias sp). Penelitian ini menggunakan benih ikan lele berukuran 6 – 8 cm. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 kali perlakuan dengan 3 kali yaitu perlakuan P1: penambahan 0% tepung tentakel gurita (kontrol), perlakuan P2: penambahan 5% tepung tentakel gurita, perlakuan P3: penambahan 10% tepung tentakel gurita, perlakuan P4: penambahan 15% tepung tentakel gurita. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 50 hari pemeliharaan, di Laboraturium Produksi dan Reproduksi sementara pembuatan pakan dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Pakan Ikan Program Studi Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mataram. Parameter penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berat mutlak, panjang mutlak, laju perumbuhan spesifik, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan dan kelangsungan hidup. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diuji menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil analisis statistik yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata, dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan komersil dengan penambahan tepung tentakel gurita pada komersil yang berbeda memberikan berat ikan lele berkisar 2.08 – 3.71 g, panjang mutlak berkisar 0.41 – 5.14 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik berkisar 0.66 – 1.26%/ hari, rasio konversi pakan berkisar 2.08 – 2.61, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan berkisar 49.28 – 30.62 % dan kelangsungan hidup berkisar 80 – 97 %.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module of immune system material as biology teaching material for grade XI science students at SMAN 1 Pringgasela. This type of research is development research. The development model used is 4D Thiagarajan et al., (1947) which consists of stages of define, design, development, and disseminate. Data was obtained through e-module validation by validators consisting of material experts, media experts, as well as biology teachers and students using validation sheets (questionnaires). The questionnaire data analysis technique uses calculations and feasibility criteria adopted from Sugiyono (2015). The results of expert validation and the responses of teachers and students showed that the biology e-module developed was feasible to use with an average percentage of 92.5% (material experts), 80% (media experts), 80% (biology teachers), and 91.47% (students). Based on the results of the study, it shows that the e-module product of immune system material is declared suitable to be used as a source of biology teaching materials in supporting the learning process of grade XI science students at SMAN 1 Pringgasela.

Abstract

The student’s interest in learning needs to be encouraged through the presence of interactive, enjoyable teaching materials that help students achieve good learning outcomes and processes. Therefore, researchers innovatively developed Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on project- based learning (PjBL). The research aims to determine the feasibility of PjBL-based LKPD based on the assessment of experts (content, media, language) and student responses. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with its ten working steps. The results of the expert assessment on the content of PjBL-based LKPD obtained a score of 82.03% “Very Feasible,” media experts 86.5% “Very Feasible,” and language experts 83% “Very Feasible,” as well as student responses of 53% “sufficiently positive." It can be concluded that the development of project-based LKPD encourages students to learn biology actively,especially the ecosystem material.

Abstract

Insect pollinators and plants have a mutually beneficial interaction. Insects get their needs in the form of pollen and nectar, while plants benefit from the pollination process. Dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) is one of the fruit plants that is now starting to be widely cultivated in Indonesia after its first entry in the early 2000s. This study aims to analyze the diversity of visitor and pollinating insects and their role in fruit formation in dragon fruit plants. The research was conducted starting in October 2023. Sampling and observation of the diversity of visitor insects and pollinators were carried out in one of the gardens in Parigi Moutong Regency. Identification of visitor insects, and data analysis were carried out at the Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Flower visitor insects found in this study were 7 species, namely Tetragonula clypearis, T. laeviceps, Scolia sp., butterflies E. Phaenareta and M. leda, D. thoracicus, and Stenogastrine sp. Five insect species have a role as pollinators on dragon fruit plants. Two insect species are predatory insects. Insect visitation activity on dragon fruit flowers was highest in the morning to afternoon and decreased in the afternoon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media belajar ular tangga biologi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII Mts NW Karang Baru. Jenis penelitian ialah quasi ekperimen dengan rancangan pretest posttest non-equivalent control grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs NW Karang Baru yang terdiri dari tiga kelas dan yang menjadi sampel ialah kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Berdasarkan Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung 62,81 dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0.000 < 0,05) artinya ada pengaruh yang nyata penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga biologi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dengan nilai R square 0.744 atau sama dengan 74%, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran dengan media belajar ular tangga cukup besar pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar koginitif siswa
