The periodization of Islamic history is marked by periods of progress and decline, as well as periods of renewal in the Islamic world, one of which was in Egypt, which began with the arrival of Napoleon Bonaparte. The arrival of Napoleon Bonaparte certainly brought about significant changes for Muslims. The purpose of this journal is to explain that the revival of Muslims was marked by Napoleon Bonaparte's ideas and strategies in reforming Muslims in Egypt. The method used in this article is to collect data from books and journals that support the research. The results of this study show that Napoleon Bonaparte's main objectives in Egypt were to block British access to India, control the Mediterranean Sea, and introduce science to Egypt. The influence of Napoleon's expedition in Egypt brought about changes in various fields, including mental attitudes, values, politics, science and culture, as well as industry and trade. Abstract

The lack of discipline among students in the girls' dormitory of the Islamic boarding school was evident from the results of the researcher's observations. The Islamic boarding school enforced discipline through the role of teachers in the dormitory. This study aims to examine the extent of discipline in carrying out activities in the dormitory. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources were fifteen informants consisting of three dormitory supervisors, eight teachers per room area, and four students living in the dormitory. The results of this study show that there are three forms of discipline in the girls' boarding school of the Islamic boarding school, namely: i) the form of student discipline in dormitory activities, ii) the role of teachers in improving student discipline in the girls' dormitory, iii) factors that hinder student discipline in the girls' dormitory. All of these findings are expected to serve as guidelines for dormitory administrators/teachers, particularly in improving student discipline, and as reference material for future researchers studying the same context and different issues.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify variables that influence early childhood language development. A literature review approach was used in this study to determine the elements that influence early childhood language development. The findings of this study indicate that language development in early childhood begins at birth and develops through experience and expertise. The language and communication development of early childhood is greatly influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include genetic characteristics, gender, health, and intelligence. External factors include social relationships, parental education, family economic status, and family dynamics. The role of counseling guidance in early childhood language development is to help children develop language and communication skills, identify and overcome children's language difficulties, provide support and guidance to parents, integrate language guidance programs into learning activities, and monitor children's language development and provide intervention if necessary.

Abstract

Fiqh or Islamic law is one of the most well-known fields of Islamic study among the general public. This is partly because fiqh is directly related to people's lives. From birth to death, humans are always connected to fiqh. For example, who is responsible for providing for them, who their parents are, and even when they are buried, these matters are related to fiqh. Due to its nature and function, fiqh is categorized as al-hal science, which is the science related to human behavior, and is considered a mandatory science to study, because with this knowledge, a person can fulfill their obligation to serve Allah through worship such as prayer, fasting, hajj, and so on. Furthermore, if legal science or fiqh is called idealistic, it does not mean that these legal materials themselves do not have practical considerations related to the needs of society. Islamic legal philosophy is essentially nothing more than the development and analysis of abstract Sharia law, not positive law that originates from and is sourced from court forums. Therefore, the characteristic that defines Islamic law in the sense of law that governs the lives of Muslims is the distinction between ideal teachings and factual practices, between Sharia as taught by classical legal scholars on the one hand and positive law as applied in courts on the other.
