Abstract

This study discusses understanding law and society in the study of legal sociology. Sociology of law is a branch of sociology that examines the relationship between law, legal institutions, and society. The main focus is how law is influenced by and influences social structures, culture, and human behavior. Apart from that, this study highlights the function of law for society, namely functioning as social control, a tool for changing society, as a symbol, political tool and integrator. Law and society cannot be separated. Their existence reinforces and strengthens each other. Indeed, we must consider the sociological component of society when developing legislation. Society and law are two entities that support and encourage each other in achieving the goals of human existence. If there is society, there will be laws. However, if the law is obeyed, society's goals can be achieved

Abstract

The capital of South Sulawesi province is Makassar City. The population consists of villagers and indigenous people. Many young people from various regions want to continue their higher education at state campuses in the city. Apart from that, there is the globalization process itself which began with advances in information and communication technology. This research tries to find out how student lifestyles have changed due to globalization in the city of Makassar. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The techniques used to collect data are documentation, interviews and observation. The qualitative analysis method is the analysis technique used. Meanwhile, the final results of this research show that globalization has a significant influence on changes in the culture and lifestyle of students in the city of Makassar. Considering that modernization and globalization are very important for progress, it is important to respond to this phenomenon in a wise way. Also, researchers know that there have been many lifestyle changes among overseas students in the city of Makassar. This change is influenced by internal and external factors. Several changes in student lifestyles, namely hedonism, consumption patterns, wearing branded clothing, changes in social habits, and habits of hanging out and behaving. Apart from that, there are also students who choose to live a simple life, even though they come from well-established families. This is done because they want to prioritize important things in their lives.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze spatial physical changes. Changes in social formations, social interaction processes, and social adaptation between immigrants and local communities in new social formations and the consequences of these changes. changes in the social structure, social activities and cultural styles of local communities in Makassar today. Development and modernization are accelerated by rapid physical-spatial transformations. Occupational differentiation encourages the process of social interaction between local communities and migrant populations in new social formations. This is done within the framework of building social relationships and integrative social relations to meet basic needs and maintain existence, which conditions social change in local communities. The stratification system changes, starting from simple stratification, and then developing into economic and cultural stratification. The shift from traditional agrarian urban areas to modern urban areas is a consequence of social change.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research investigates the infrastructure development strategies employed in Kalaotoa Village, Pasilambena District, Selayar Islands Regency. Through observations, interviews, and documentation studies, the study unveils a systematic approach to infrastructure development aimed at enhancing various aspects of community life, including Education, Social, Economic, Health, and Religious domains. The research findings underscore a holistic perspective, emphasizing not only economic progress but also social welfare improvement. By focusing on sectors like Education, Health, and Religion, the village demonstrates a commitment to comprehensive community development. The study provides valuable insights into how infrastructure development strategies at the village level can significantly impact society's well-being.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine and analyze the financial management system of the Jami Mujahidin Palampang Mosque, Pangkep Regency from an Islamic economic perspective and (2) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing financial management at the Jami Mujahidin Palampang Mosque, Pangkep Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this research are (1) The financial management system of the Jami Mujahidin Palampang Mosque, Pangkep Regency, namely in the form of mosque cash sources, activity budgeting, and financial traffic. Looking from the perspective of Islamic accountability in the financial management of the Jami Mujahidin Palampang Mosque, Pangkep Regency, based on the concepts of caliphate, justice and trust in general it has been carried out well even though the ideal has not been fully fulfilled; (2) The supporting factor in this research is the congregation's enthusiasm for donating and participating in every mosque activity. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the negative perception from several parties in the local community who think that the mosque management is not open enough in terms of financial management. The next inhibiting factor is that many mosque administrators are less active in carrying out their mandate and only a few administrators are active. This research recommendation is intended for mosque administrators, congregations, and the government

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research with the aim of finding out the influence of leadership style and workload on employee work stress at the South Sulawesi Province Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol pp) office. This sample was taken from the South Sulawesi Province Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol pp) office. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data obtained from distributed questionnaires and is related to the problem being studied. Data collection was carried out by observation and distribution of questionnaires. In this research, the data sources used in data collection include primary data and secondary data. The research instrument used in this research used the Likert scale method. Based on the results of data research using statistical calculations through the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 24 application regarding the influence of leadership style and workload on employee work stress at the South Sulawesi Province Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) office as discussed in the previous chapter, So the author draws an important conclusion, namely that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee work stress at the Civil Service Police Unit Office (Satpol PP) South Sulawesi Province, while workload has a significant effect on employee work stress at the Civil Service Police Unit Office (Satpol PP) Sulawesi Province South.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research with the aim of determining the effect of service quality on the level of customer satisfaction at Bank BTPN Makassar Branch Office. The population in this study was 1,500 customers. The sampling technique in the research used the Slovin technique with simple random sampling with a sample size of 43 customers. This sample was taken from Bank BTPN Makassar Branch Office. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data obtained from distributed questionnaires and is related to the problem being studied. Data collection was carried out by observation and distribution of questionnaires. In this research, the data sources used in data collection include primary data. The research instrument used in this research used the Likert scale method. Based on the results of data research using statistical calculations through the statistical package for the social science (SPSS) version 29 application regarding the influence of service quality on the level of customer satisfaction at Bank BTPN Makassar Branch Office which was discussed previously, the author draws conclusions from the research results, namely quality service has a positive and significant effect on the level of customer satisfaction and the coefficient of determination of 88% can illustrate that customer satisfaction is influenced by service quality while the remaining 12% represents shortcomings and limitations of the research model carried out. Service quality must be maintained and further improved because it can be seen from the research results that the existing service quality is quite strong.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of work facilities and communication abilities of village officials on the quality of public services in Dengeng-Dengeng Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidrap Regency. The sample data collection technique uses the Slovin formula. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data obtained from distributed questionnaires and is related to the problem being studied. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observation and documentation. In this research, the data sources used in data collection include primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is statistical calculations using the Statistical for the Social Science (SPSS) application version 25. This can be seen from the results of SPSS data processing where the sig value is 0.001<0.05 and has a value of t_(hitung )0.9071> t_tabel0. ,2028. The Communication Ability variable (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services (Y), which can be seen from the significant value of 0.000<0.05. and the value t_(hitung )0.6054> t_tabel0.2028.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research with the aim of knowing exactly the implications of burnout on subjective well-being among employees at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. KCP Tanete Riaja Unit , Barru Regency . The type of data used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation and interviews. The research results that can be written show that employees at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Tanete Riaja KCP Unit, Barru Regency , experienced a Burnout condition which affected the Subjective Well Being condition which was classified as moderate when working. It is said to be moderate because looking at the Burnout dimension , researchers found that there are three indications that can influence it, namely overtime on Saturdays and Sundays, less time with family and stressful work aspects. Even though employees are experiencing moderate burnout , they still prioritize customer priorities by providing excellent service.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research with the aim of finding out the role conflicts experienced by members of the Civil Service Police Unit of South Sulawesi Province, Makassar City. The type of data used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation and interviews. The research results that can be written show that members of the South Sulawesi Province Civil Service Police Unit experience moderate role conflict when carrying out their duties in the field. Looking at the dimensions of role conflict, researchers found that there are six factors that influence it, namely ignoring rules (undisciplined behavior), job transfer, difficulty making decisions, feelings of emotion, guilt and nonconformity role. From sixth The factor that most influences role conflict among members of the Civil Service Police Unit of South Sulawesi Province is ignoring the rules (undisciplined behavior). Even though they face role conflicts, they still uphold the humanist system, serve firmly and uphold preventive matters.
