Abstract

Nutritional problems are prone to occur in the adolescent age group. Adolescents are an age group where specific nutritional problems occur, especially Anemia and Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). Nutrient intake such as energy, protein and Body Image intake can affect the occurrence of chronic energy deficiency in adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutrient intake and Body Image with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in female adolescents at SMAN 1 Bangkinang. This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional study approach research design. The research tools are questionnaires and LILA. The study was conducted on June 10 - June 22, 2024 with a sample of 52 female students obtained by stratified random sampling. The results of the univariate analysis showed that out of 52 female students, 29 female students (55.8%) had insufficient energy intake, 32 female students (61.5%) had insufficient protein intake, 33 female students (63.5%) were dissatisfied with their body shape and 29 female students (55.8%) had CED status. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a relationship between energy intake (? = 0.000), protein (? = 0.008) and body image (? = 0.003). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between nutrient intake and body image with KEK. It is expected that female students consume food intake containing nutrients to prevent an increase in KEK and minimize the occurrence of KEK in adolescence.

Mothers who have low knowledge about MCH tend not to realize if their children have nutritional disorders. Data collection tools using questionnaires, weight measurement, height using microtoice. The results of univariate analysis showed that respondents had good knowledge about the MCH book as many as 104 people (79.4%), and did not experience stunting as many as 109 toddlers (83.2). The results of bivariate analysis on the relationship between maternal knowledge of the KIA book with the Chi Square test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge of the KIA book (p=0.00) with the incidence of stunting. In conclusion, there is a relationship between knowledge about the kia book and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Kuapan Village in the working area of Puskesmas Tambang, Kampar Regency. It is expected that mothers of toddlers can increase the frequency of visiting the posyandu or puskesmas in order to get complete information from midwives and mothers can increase knowledge about the KIA book so that they can understand child growth and development.

Abstract

Immersed nipples are nipples that cannot protrude and are pulled inward, which results in the milk not coming out smoothly due to shorter inward milk ducts (tied nipples), lack of early breast care, and the mother's lack of knowledge regarding breast care. Inverted nipples are divided into 3 grades. The care provided is in accordance with the grade of nipple immersion. The aim of the research is to provide midwifery care to postpartum mothers with grade II inverted nipples at the Nislawaty Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) in the Bangkinang City Community Health Center Work Area on 08-14 May 2024. Abstract

Asphyxia neonatorum is a condition where a newborn baby (neonate) cannot begin to breathe spontaneously after birth. Several factors that cause neonatal asphyxia include maternal, infant and umbilical cord factors. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between Post Date pregnancies at RSIA Husada Bunda in 2022. This type of research used analytical observational using a Case Control research design with a Retrospective approach. The population in this study used a 1:1 ratio of case samples (neonatal asphyxia) and 50 control cases (no neonatal asphyxia). Control samples were taken using systematic random sampling.  The data collection tool in this research used a checklist sheet. Then the data was analyzed Univariately and Bivariately using the chi square test. The results of this research showed that there was a relationship between post-date pregnancy and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia with p value (0.002). The conclusion was that there was a relationship between post-date pregnancy and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia at RSIA Husada Bunda in 2022. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an illustration for health workers and policy makers as material for consideration, information and decision making for the management of newborns with neonatal asphyxia.
