TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya
TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is a peer-reviewed scientific open access journal, with e-ISSN 2549-5941 and p-ISSN 2549-5971 It has been published by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Tidar. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through initial review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewer (Mitra Bestari) and will go to the next selection by the double-blind review process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In each manuscript, peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by editors according to reviewers comments. Peer reviewer that collaboration with Transformatika: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is the experts in the linguistics, literature, and their teaching area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the nation and abroad. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya is issued quarterly: in March, June, September, and December. TRANSFORMATIKA: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya features research novelties and significance for scientific advancement in one of the fields of the published manuscripts. This journal welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia. Manuscripts published including. Linguistics; phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis. Literature: local literature studies, Indonesian literature, foreign literature studies, children literature, literature studies for character education, and other literary studies. Indonesian Language and Literature: curriculum development, learning methods, learning materials, learning media, assessment, Indonesian language learning across curricula, information and communications technology in Indonesian language learning, language skills, and other Indonesian language learning analyses. <![CDATA[Pantun is one of the Indonesian speech culture that contains noble thoughts. In the speech tradition, pantun is used as a recreative and educational tool. Pantun has aesthetic values, elements of art, beauty that reflect the expression of the Indonesia people in looking at life. This research aims to analyze the aesthetic value of pantun. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. The research data is in the form of words in the pantun array. Data collection techniques through literature study. The data analysis is done by (1) identifying elements that contribute to building the aesthetic concept; (2) identifying elements that get emphasis; and (3) concluding the harmony between aesthetic elements in forming a unity of meaning. The results of the data analysis state that pantun holds cultural aesthetics, especially evident in the use of rhyme and philosophy. The results of the data analysis state that pantun has aesthetics, which can be seen in the cover, rhyme, and harmony. Sampiran images of nature as an introduction to the philosophical thoughts contained in the body. The aesthetics of pantun are closely related to ethical elements so that beauty appears in the form as well as the holiness and nobility of the ethics it contains.]]>

<![CDATA[Literary literacy in schools was essential because it had a positive impact on both the academic and personal development of students, such as enhancing critical thinking skills. Students learnt to analyze plot, characters, and themes, as well as evaluated various perspectives and meanings within texts. Literary literacy also enriched vocabulary and language skills. Reading various literary genres expanded students' vocabulary and improved their ability to understand and use language effectively. The aimed of this study was to understand how literary literacy fostered and developeded in schools. This research used a literature study method with a narrative review model. In this narrative review, data from several journals were analyzed and summarized based on the author's experience. The study employed a qualitative method with secondary data obtained from relevant journals. The researchers used a descriptive analytical method, collecting, identifying, organizing, and analyzing various data found. The results of the study showed that the development and enhancement of literary literacy in schools in Indonesia include: 1) Intensive Reading Programs within the GLS program, 2) Use of Technology, 3) Interactive Teaching Methods, 4) Teacher Training and Professional Development, and 5) Improvement of School Libraries.]]>

<![CDATA[The Pancasila Learner Profile was a framework of characters and competencies that learners in Indonesia were expected to possess, in accordance with the values of Pancasila as the nation's foundation and worldview. The values of Pancasila included respect for Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity), the spirit of gotong royong, social justice, democracy, and the moral values contained in Pancasila. This research aimed to elaborate on issues related to the value of the Pancasila Student Profile contained in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. This research used a qualitative method of content analysis with an interactive data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Data on the value of the Pancasila Student Profile were taken from primary data in the form of content and dialogue contained in the novel Laut Bercerita. This research found the value of the Pancasila Student Profile in 5 characters in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori, namely Biru Laut, Asmara Jati, Biru Laut, Alex Perazon, and Romo Felix. The value of the Pancasila Student Profile was a behavior that showed an attitude in practicing the values of Pancasila in everyday life. Practicing the values of Pancasila in everyday life was reflected in the attitude of practicing religious teachings, tolerance for existing differences, being able to think critically and creatively in facing existing challenges, being able to be independent and responsible, and being able to work together with others.]]>

<![CDATA[Bilingual children's story books in Indonesian and English are now being published in Indonesia, providing them as reading options for mothers, caregivers, storytellers, and the children themselves. This study aims to analyze, identify, describe, and classify the forms of translation methods found in a bilingual children's storybook entitled 'The Foos' by Arleen Amidjaja, as well as to analyze the translation methods applied to determine the success in achieving equivalence of meaning in the target language (TL). This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and a documentation method. Employing text analysis, careful reading, and note taking techniques for research constitutes the stages of data collection. Text analysis uses Newmark's translation method theory with data sources from English texts as the source language text (SL) and Indonesian as the TL from the storybook 'The Foos.' The results of the analysis are presented in the form of a comparison of the two languages , along with the results of identifying SL and TL text translation techniques. The interpretation of the identification results is then presented in the form of a descriptive presentation by considering the translation techniques of the identification results. The results of this study indicate that 12 translation method data are oriented to the SL, and eight are oriented to the TL. The translation techniques that are often used are semantic and communicative translation techniques. There are no faithful, adaptation, or idiomatic translation techniques because the children's storybook 'The Foos' does not have proverbial sentences or other foreign language terms. The SL uses simple sentence structures and vocabulary. The translation method that is oriented to the SL with semantic and communicative translation techniques is effective for translating children's storybooks, ensuring that readers understand the content of the stories.]]>

<![CDATA[The politeness of speech acts can be influenced by certain sociological factors, for example, relative power, social distance, and the presence of elements of coercion. In its development, politeness in speech acts also develops in its opposite form, namely impoliteness. The focus of the study in this research is the language impoliteness strategy in the film "Siap, Gan!" which appears as a reflection of differences in social levels by focusing discussion on the five strategies of impoliteness according to Culpeper's theory. This research aims to describe impolite language strategies in films. The type of research used in this research is qualitative and the data provision technique used in this research is observation/observation techniques. Observation techniques are carried out without involving what is being observed. The data source for this research comes from a video film entitled "Siap, Gan!" obtained on the YouTube channel. The analysis carried out in this research uses contextual analysis. Contextual analysis involves several elements, namely identifying speakers and speech partners, observing the background or causes of the speech, and the goals to be achieved through the speech data analysis, it is known what types of language impoliteness appear in the film "Siap, Gan!" namely bald on record impoliteness, positive impoliteness, and negative impoliteness. The most frequently used strategy is negative impoliteness. This proves the impoliteness in the film "Siap, Gan!" This tends to be used to attack the speaker's negative face. Some of the data findings indicate that several forms of words that are personally offensive to the speaker due to different social strata are also found to be presented as directly impolite with harsh, insulting, degrading, and critical language.]]>

<![CDATA[The study was intended to describe the use of a comic book strip to teach anecdoatic text writing in class X SMK Muhammadiyah Kajen school year 2023/2024. The study uses a qualitative type of descriptive research. The data sources in the study are secondary and primary data. Primary data in research include student interviews, and interviews with educators. Secondary data in the study are the educators module for class X anecdote text material, the vlue data acquired by educated participants, the comics generated by educated, and the documentation during the process. Data collection techniques in this study include direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Studies have shown that the use of comics to write anecdotal texts has been found to be 31 (83%) educated people who get excellent credit, and there are 6 (17%) educated peole who score well on the overall rate of learnes. The strip’s comic media can be an alternative or solution in the learning process that can arouse learner’s interest in learning and learning motivation.]]>

<![CDATA[Sociolinguistics is one of the fields of linguistics that studies the interaction between language and society. Nowadays, the use of language variations or registers, including in the context of online buying and selling, is increasing. However, despite its frequent use, many people still lack understanding of the registers used in online transactions such as in the Shopee app. Many users, from parents to teenagers and even children, only read or write at a glance without understanding the meaning of the register used. The characteristics of this register are related to the linguistic rules in the advertising text, which are short and contain special terms. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the variety of lingual registers in online buying and selling in Shopee application. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the forms of lingual registers used in online buying and selling transactions at Shopee. The benefits of this research are divided into theoretical and practical benefits for creators, readers, observers, and users of online buying and selling. The techniques used in this research include listening, reading, and recording techniques, as well as sorting data analysis techniques. The results of this study produce 8 data that show the variation of lingual register in online buying and selling at Shopee. The analysis of registers in online buying and selling in Shopee application contributes as a source of knowledge in the learning process, and can increase understanding for readers and broaden insights in learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesian language learning in schools requires the right learning model to maximize student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Jigsaw model utilizing smart TV technology in improving students' review text writing ability. This research is a quantitative research. The research method used was quasi-experiment with Nonequaivalent Control Group Design. The samples of this study were class VIII Gaza as the experimental class and class VIII Kuffah as the control class. The data collection technique in this study used a description test technique. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw model utilizing smart TV technology had a significant effect on students' review text writing ability. This can be proven from the average value of the experimental class on the pretest 64.57 and posttest 87.39. While the average value of the control class on the pretest 38,91 and posttest 66,96. Based on the results of the N- Gain calculation, there is a significant effectiveness, namely the experimental class 65.01 which is quite effective and the control class 44.91 which is less effective. In knowing the significant difference, the difference test of two average N-Gain scores was conducted. The results obtained are the significance value (2-tailed) 0.005 <0.05, so it is stated that Ha is accepted, meaning that the ability to write student review texts with the application of the Jigsaw learning model is better than students who do the Jigsaw learning model.]]>

<![CDATA[Surah az-zukhruf contains verses of the Qur'an that contain information and affirmations of Allah to mankind. The themes raised are about the exaltation of Allah, the debate between Muslims and disbelievers and several other themes aimed at providing understanding and affirmation so that the effectiveness of information can be conveyed from people who do not know to people who deny. This research aims to determine the form of kalam khabar and its purpose contained in the utterances uttered by speakers (mutakallim) in the Qur'an, especially surah az-zukhruf along with its social, cultural and historical context. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, which is a literature study that examines the verses of the Qur'an with the approach of balaghah study. The source of data in this research is surah az-zukhruf which amounts to 89 verses of the Makkiyah surah. Then, the data of this study were collected through 2 stages, namely reading and recording. The analysis technique used in this research is interpreting and drawing conclusions in accordance with the research objectives. The results of this study show that the form of kalam khabar that tends to appear is kalam khabar ibtida'i with a percentage of 22 data (47%), while for kalam khabar thalabi has a percentage of 16 data (33%), the last is kalam khabar inkari whose percentage is 10 data (20%). So, it can be concluded that in surah az-zukhruf it tends to be used without taukid and also does not use a lot of taukid in its verses. The researcher concludes that there is a lot of information revealed by Allah to mankind through the verses in surah az-zukhruf.]]>

<![CDATA[The comic Sri Asih which was produced after the screening of the film Sri Asih, is an innovation in de-ecranization research because de-ecranization tends to focus on changing the vehicle from a film to a novel. The selection of this object was based on the researcher's interest in the character Sri Asih, who is the first female superhero in Indonesia and is no less great than foreign superheroes, as well as to appreciate the new genre of Indonesian cinema that is packaged in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe. This research aims to describe the characterization of Sri Asih in the film Sri Asih by Upi Avianto and the comic Sri Asih by Rizqi R. Mosmarth and Dody Eka. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. This method produces descriptive data originating from personal speech. The intertextuality approach and de-ecranization studies are used to analyze the structure of the film and comic Sri Asih, which focuses on analyzing the plot, setting, characters, and characterization. Meanwhile, the study of de-ecranization serves to add and change variations in the comparison of the two works. The results of the research conducted show that the film and comic Sri Asih both have superhero themes and use a forward plot as a component to form the storyline. Meanwhile, other building elements in the two works are relatively the same. As for the form of transformation from the film Sri Asih into the comic Sri Asih, there are additional variations and changes.]]>
