This research aims to uncover and analyze the elements of local genius (local wisdom) that form the foundation of the aesthetics and philosophy in Putu Wijaya's dramaturgy. The research method employed is descriptive, with a hermeneutic approach, conducted through textual analysis of play scripts, such as Aduh, Edan, and Zero, as well as observation of the rehearsal process and performances of the "theatre starting from what is available" or "New Tradition" technique, which he pioneered. The findings indicate that the local genius in Putu Wijaya's works is not merely a symbolic use of Balinese or Indonesian cultural elements, but is internalized in the form of: a non-linear and cyclical dramaturgical structure, reflecting the cosmological concept of time in the Indonesian archipelago; a conflict that presents a paradigm of "chaos" as a creative energy, aligning with the concepts of Rwa Bhineda (the duality of opposites) and Desa-Kala-Patra (place-time-context); and an intimate relationship between the audience and the performers (Puyung ma isi), which revives the participatory spirit of traditional performances. In conclusion, Putu Wijaya's approach to drama and theatre is a contemporary form of local genius that transforms traditional values into a universal stage language while remaining firmly rooted in cultural identity.

This study aims to examine the representation of nature and women in the film Perempuan Tanah Jahanam directed by Joko Anwar through an ecofeminist perspective. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the analysis focuses on dialogues and events that represent the relationship between nature, women, and patriarchal social structures. The findings indicate that nature is represented as an entity possessing subjectivity and intrinsic value, functioning as a space of memory and recovery from collective violence. Women are portrayed as experiencing exploitation and violence within patriarchal systems, yet they also demonstrate active forms of resistance through symbolic and transformative actions. The relationship between nature and women reveals a structural interconnectedness, in which both are positioned as victims of patriarchal and capitalist logics of domination. These findings underscore that Perempuan Tanah Jahanam articulates a critique of power relations that simultaneously oppress women and degrade nature.

This study aims to describe the forms of hate speech found in the comment section of the Rosi Kompas TV TikTok account, specifically on an uploaded video featuring a debate on mining activities in Raja Ampat directed at Gus Ulil Absor Abdalla, employing a forensic linguistic framework as the analytical lens. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method, with primary data consisting of 55 user comments collected through documentation techniques. The analysis was conducted by examining linguistic aspects including diction, sentence structure, meaning, and utterance context, while cross-referencing the findings with legal regulations stipulated in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The results identified three categories of hate speech, namely insult (32 instances), defamation (13 instances), and ethnicity-, religion-, race-, and intergroup-based hate speech known as SARA (10 instances). Linguistically, these utterances were characterized by the use of pejorative lexicon, negative labeling of individual identity, degrading metaphors, and nonverbal symbols that reinforce the intent to attack. These findings affirm the critical role of forensic linguistic analysis in identifying and substantiating hate speech in the digital sphere as part of law enforcement efforts.

This study aims to determine the forms of commanding speech acts in the Bugis language in Sungai Tawar Village, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This study uses a pragmatic approach with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data for this study consist of Bugis speech acts of the Sungai Tawar Village community, which are still actively used in everyday communication. In the data collection process, the researcher used several techniques, namely listening, note-taking, recording, and engaging in conversation, in the daily conversations of the Sungai Tawar Village community. The results indicate two forms of commanding speech acts in the Bugis language: direct speech acts (11 utterances) and indirect speech acts (5 utterances). The use of direct (explicit) commanding speech acts includes two utterances of requesting, one utterance of requesting, one utterance of prohibiting, one utterance of permitting, one utterance of suggesting, one utterance of recommending, one utterance of expecting, one utterance of proposing a choice, one utterance of inviting, one utterance of inviting, and two utterances of urging. Furthermore, the use of indirect (implicit) strategies was found in five utterances: 1 prohibition, 1 command, 1 request for assistance, 1 appeal/urgency, and 1 request/excuse me. These findings confirm that the use of commanding speech acts in Bugis not only reflects the linguistic function of commands but also reflects the social values, politeness, and cultural norms of the community. This research is expected to contribute to the preservation of regional languages while enriching the study of pragmatics in the local realm.

This research analyzes the impact of the program on improving students' literacy abilities at SD Negeri 134 Kota Jambi through a qualitative descriptive approach with data triangulation (N=45 students). The research results demonstrate: (1) significant improvement in students' perception of literacy by 24 percentage points (64% → 88%), (2) interaction-based learning strategies showing the highest implementation frequency (88-94%), (3) major challenges related to resources, time management, student ability variation, and parental engagement, and (4) success-supporting factors including effective collaboration, student commitment, and institutional support. In conclusion, the Campus Teaching Program effectively improves literacy through integration of modern learning theory elements, but requires attention to social and economic contextual factors for more sustainable impact
