Abstract

An organization which has applied SNI 19-9001-2001, Quality Management System - Requirement, implicitly its officer performance must be good also. If the officer performance almost in entire unit relatively is not yet is maximal, so this research aim to know what factor that influencing the officer performance Leadership style, ethos and officer performance elaborate 30 questions on questionnaire and distributed to 50 officers at random. Then the answers of questionnaire analyses using partial and simultaneous analyst. The research result indicate that leadership style strongly influence the officer performance (Rho=0,811), while ethos less influence toward performance (Rho=0,222). Leadership style and ethos simultaneous analysis is more and more strong influence officer performance (Rho=0,812)

Abstract

Basically Ministry of Public Works has issued a number of norms, standard, guidelines and manuals (hereinafter named as NSPM). The questions arises on how far such issued NSPMs particularly related to buildings and housings have fulfilled the need of the users. This is the intention of this research. The methods used comprises survey and interview, gathering field data and proceeded through statistical analysis. The results of research which are focused on SNI 03-1746-2000 concerning means of escape, SNI 03-3989-2000 on sprinkler systems and SNI 03-1745-2000 pertaining standpipe and hose showed a significant data. About 76.5 % of the respondent know these standards, however 42.2 % of the respondent suggested to increase dissemination. 41.9 % of the respondent do not clearly understand the substances. 44.1 % of the respondent suggested to revise the standards, while a more detailed technical guidelines were suggested to be made by 71.4 % of the respondent.

Abstract

The dosimetry laboratory has to ensure that the implementation of quality assurance of testing meets clause 7.7 of the SNI ISO/ IEC17025: 2017. One of the activities to meet the quality assurance is to irradiate the personnel dosimeter at radiation facility that  is traced to national or international standard. In this research it has been outlined the dose response of personnel on the prototype of the 137Cs panoramic irradiation device and its  dose rate distribution. It was prepared 40 dosimeters for each of OSLD and TLD-900 which were divided into 5 groups. Each group consists of 8 dosimeters with 6 dosimeters for irradiated and 2 dosimeters as control. The dosimeter were mounted on the holders of 137Cs panoramic irradiation device prototype and exposed with irradiation time of 7.3 minutes, 54.5 minutes, 165 minutes, 330 minutes and 545.2 minutes respectively. Then they were evaluated using the OSLD microStar Reader or the TLD reader. Meanwhile, RaySafe Xi survey with its detector was prepared to measure  dose rate in the holder 1 to 6 for 5 minutes. The study showed that  the reading dose of  TLD-900 were relatively higher than OSLD. The difference of  TLD-900 reading dose to OSLD ranged from 0.10 – 1.44 mSv with a greater tendency for the higher dose. The linearity curve between reading dose to exposure time tends to be linear with a correlation factor (R2) of 0.9999 for OSLD and 0.9988 for TLD-900. The linearity equation on OSLD is y = 0.0184x – 0.0326. While the linearity equation for TLD-900 is y = 0.0214x – 0.1201. The dose rate on the holder 1 to 6 has an average of 1.02 mSv/h with  the standard deviation of 1.5%. The dose rate distribution at  a distance of 29 cm from the source ranges from 1.01 - 1.04 mSv/jam.

Abstract

AbstrakTusuk kontak dan kotak kontak adalah perangkat yang memungkinkan peralatan yang dioperasikan secara elektrik dihubungkan pada sumber listrik di sebuah instalasi listrik dalam bangunan. Saat ini terdapat berbagai model tusuk kontak dan kotak kontak di seluruh dunia, sekurang-kurangnya terdapat 14 jenis bahkan 20 jenis dan antar negara memiliki karakter dasar tersendiri yang antara lain terkait dengan geografi, iklim, teknologi, infrastruktur, sosial dan budaya. Kekhasan atau karakterteristik unik yang menyebabkan sesuatu yang dimiliki oleh negara tersebut menjadi berbeda dengan yang dimiliki oleh kebanyakan negara lain ini biasa disebut sebagai National Differences (ND). Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah mengidentifikasi potensi perlunya national differences untuk produk tusuk kontak dan kotak kontak untuk dapat diusulkan dalam persyaratan mutu Standar Nasional Indonesia yang diadopsi dari standar IEC. Studi ini mengolah data primer dan data sekunder dengan analisa kualitatif deskriptif. Data sekunder diperoleh dari identifikasi SNI, IEC dan data penunjang lainnya terkait produk tusuk kontak dan kotak kontak, sedangkan data primer melalui diskusi dengan anggota Panitia Teknis bidang kelistrikan dan praktisi. Diperoleh hasil potensi national differences untuk produk tusuk kontak dan kotak kontak adalah bentuk dan ukuran yang dilengkapi dengan pembumian, uji kandungan kimia berbahaya, pemberian penutup (shutter) dan uji ketahanan terhadap rayap.Kata Kunci: SNI, national differences, tusuk kontak dan kotak kontak.AbstractPlug and socket are devices that allows electrically operated equipment connected to the power source in a building. Currently there are various models of plugs and socket-outlets all over the world , there are at least 14-20 types. Each country have the basic character of its own which are related to geography, climate, technology, infrastructure, social and cultural. Distinctiveness or unique characteristic that causes something that is owned by a state to be different to that of most other countries is commonly referred to as the National Differences (ND). The purpose of this study is to identify potential national differences for plug and socket to be proposed in SNI adopted from the IEC standard. The study process the primary data and secondary data with qualitative descriptive analysis. Secondary data were obtained from the identification of SNI, IEC and other supporting data related product plug and socket, while the primary data gained through discussions with members of the Technical Committee and the practioner. The results obtained indicate the potential national differences in product plugs and socket are: different shapes and sizes equipped with earthing, dangerous chemical substances testing, need of shutter and resistance to termites.Keywords: SNI, national differences, plug and socket.

Abstract

Untuk menekan biaya pengolahan bahan olah karet (bokar), petani cenderung menggunakan koagulan dengan dosis yang sangat rendah. Padahal penggunaan dosis yang tidak tepat diduga akan mempengaruhi kualitas produk karet. Apalagi dengan diterbitkannya SNI 1903:2017 tentang persyaratan mutu spesifikasi teknis karet, produk karet harus dapat memenuhi persyaratan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan koagulan dengan dosis yang sangat rendah dalam pembuatan bokar terhadap mutu teknis produk karet dan harga yang diterima petani. Koagulan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah formulasi koagulan asap cair dan PAS. Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari kondisi penggumpalan,  kadar karet kering (KKK), kadar kotoran, kadar abu, kadar zat menguap, plastisitas (Po and PRI) dan viskositas Mooney. Parameter-parameter ini kemudian dianalisa secara statistic dengan menggunakan uji beda t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan koagulan dengan dosis yang sangat rendah tidak berbeda secara signifikan dari dosis anjuran untuk sebagian besar parameter pengujian, kecuali untuk KKK dan viskositas Mooney. Tetapi, diperlukan waktu yang lebih lama untuk menggumpalkan lateks dan KKK yang diperoleh juga lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan dosis anjuran. Sehingga harga yang diterima oleh petani juga akan lebih rendah. Untuk memperoleh harga yang lebih baik petani tetap dianjurkan untuk menggunakan dosis rekomendasi untuk menghasilkan karet bermutu tinggi bahkan untuk produksi SIR 10.

Abstract

Potensi perikanan wilayah perairan Indonesia cukup besar, yang memerlukan armada penangkapan dalam jumlah yang cukup banyak. Sesuai rencana strategis Kementerian Kelautan Dan Perikanan tahun 2015 - 2019 dalam penyediaan bantuan sarana penangkapan ikan untuk nelayan. Pelaksanaannya telah dimulai sejak tahun 2016 dimana telah diserahkan sebanyak 751 unit kapal dan direncanakan 525 unit ditahun 2017. Namun pada pendistribusiannya dibeberapa wilayah menghadapi kendala, desain dan spesifikasinya tidak sesuai dengan kearifan local terutama pada kapal-kapal 3 GT. Laminasi yang terlalu tebal, yang menyebabkan kapal lebih berat, kapasitas muatnya lebih kecil, sulit maneuver dan boros penggunaan bahan bakar. Oleh karena program bantuan sarana penangkapan ikan hingga 2019, sehingga kearifan local menjadi suatu pertimbangan. Untuk hal tersebut perlunya kajian Standarisasi Laminasi FRP Lambung Kapal Penangkap Ikan 3 GT. Kajian dilakukan pada kapal kondisi beban maximum dan pada posisi di satu puncak gelombang dan dua puncak gelombang yang dibandingkan dengan hasil laboratorium terhadap laminasi konstruksi kapal 3 GT tersebut.

Abstract

Infant incubator is one of the most important medical devices for newborn survival, especially preterm. However, aside from its benefits, some irregularities can be found on the devices that could lead to infant mortality, such as temperature deviations. The problem can be minimized by testing the infant incubator temperature parameter in accordance with IEC 60601-2-19 standard. However, there are various types of temperature sensors for related tests. Therefore K-Type and T-Type Thermocouples are compared in order to provide recommendations for infant incubator testing. The measurement technique used were referred to the instructions stated in IEC 60601-2-19 sub-clause Stability (with tolerance ±0.5oC) and sub-clause Uniformity (with tolerance ±0.8oC). For K-type thermocouples, the highest stability results at 32oC is -0.2oC and at 36oC is -0.4oC, while the highest uniformity results at 32oC is -0.1oC and at 36oC is -1.6oC, with the uncertainty of 1.7oC. For T-type thermocouples, the highest stability results at 32oC is 0.4oC and at 36oC is -0.4oC, while the highest uniformity results at 32oC is 0.7oC and at 36oC is 0.8oC, with the uncertainty of 0.3oC. The results of the independent t-test showed a different average, where the T-type thermocouples was higher than the K-type thermocouples. In other words, T-type thermocouples could be recommended for infant incubators testing.

Abstract

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and World Health Organization (WHO) operate the IAEA/WHO TLD postal dose audit programme using thermoluminescence dosimeter (TLDs) for Secondary StandardDosimetry Laboratory (SSDL) and user every year. As National Reference Laboratory in the field of radiation metrology, PTKMR – BATAN always participates in the postal dose audit programme on therapy level for 60Cobeam. On the postal dose audit programme, the uncertainties in the dose determination from TLD measurements have been evaluated by IAEA, which is comprises of uncertainties in the calibration coefficient of the TLD systemand uncertainties in factors correcting for dose response non linearity, fading of TL signal, energy response, and influence of TLD holder. The individual uncertainties then have been combined to estimate the total uncertaintiy inthe dose evaluated from TLD measurements. The combined relative standard uncertainty in the dose determined from TLD measurements has been estimated to be 1.2% for irradiation with 60Co gamma rays and 1.6% forirradiation with high-energy X-rays. Results from irradiations by Bureau Internationale des Poids et Mesures (BIPM), Primary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory (PSDL), and SSDL compare favourably with the estimateduncertainties, whereas TLD results of radiotherapy centres show higher standard deviations than those derived theoretically. This paper presented the result of TLD postal dose audit for 60Co beam owned by PTKMR-BATANin the year of 2006-2008.
