Wulang: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (WJP) is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education at Institut Agama Islam Pangeran Dharma Kusuma Segeran Indramayu. This journal is published twice a year in June and December. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles concerning research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) / Elementary School (Sekolah Dasar) Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, and educator professionalism. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The review process employs a double-blind review.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar dapat muncul karena faktor intrinsik berupa hasrat dan keinginan berhasil dan dorongan kebutuhan belajar, harapan akan cita-cita, sedangkan faktor ekstrinsiknya adalah berupa penghargaan, lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, dan kegiatan belajar yang menarik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar murid. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDIT Assunnah Kota Cirebon, dengan memilih 22 orang murid sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 6 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket atau kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Dimana angket digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar yang diberikan kepada guru kelas, dokumentasi kegiatan pencatatan dokumen tentang jumlah murid serta data murid kelas 4A sedangkan wawancara merupakan teknik pendukung guna memperoleh informasi tentang berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar (X), mempunyai hubungan signifikan tehadap hasil belajar (Y) yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,99. Sedangkan untuk uji signifikan uji r diperoleh bahwa rhitung yang diperoleh adalahlebih besar dari rtabel (0,99 > 0,444), pada taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi belajar (X) mempunyai hubungan terhadap variabel hasil belajar (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using digital-based interactive media in the Arabic language learning process for students at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level. The main focus of this research is to identify its contribution to the field of MI teacher education. The background of this research stems from various challenges in Arabic language learning at the MI level, which is often constrained by the limitations of traditional learning media that are less interesting and not interactive enough for students. Along with the development of digital technology, digital-based interactive media emerged as a promising alternative to increase students' interest, engagement, and understanding in Arabic language learning. This research was conducted using the literature study method, in which data was obtained through analyzing relevant literature, such as scientific journals, books, and previous research reports. This method aims to explore concepts, theories, and best practices related to the use of digital interactive media in Arabic language learning in MI. This study covers various aspects, such as the characteristics of digital interactive media, how to apply it in learning, and its impact on student learning outcomes. This study is expected to provide a deeper insight into the effectiveness of digital-based interactive media in improving the quality of Arabic language learning in MI. Abstract

This research explores the impact of utilizing children's songs as a teaching medium to enhance Arabic vocabulary acquisition among MI Cibanoang students. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving classroom observations, teacher interviews, and document analysis. Results reveal that songs significantly improve vocabulary retention, especially when accompanied by physical activities and context-based explanations. However, effectiveness varies by grade level, with younger students requiring more support to grasp meanings. The findings highlight the necessity of adapting songs to students’ needs and integrating them with other learning methods. This study contributes to the development of innovative Arabic teaching strategies, fostering engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Language teaching materials, especially Bahasa Indonesia for elementary school age learners (SD/MI) is very meaningful especially aimed at learning to speak words both in writing and oral, thus making students who are able to apply good speech in the community. Indonesian language learning at SD/MI level is expected to be able to improve students' skills in order to be able to interact and generate appreciation for the work of literature and culture of the Indonesian state. Local culture in the surrounding environment is very important in the process of teaching and learning Bahasa Indonesia. Students often face difficulties in pursuing Bahasa Indonesia material because the teacher taught is quite boring. This research uses descriptive quadrative research method with library study approach. The object of study in this study is the role of local culture in teaching materials in Indonesian language learning. An educator, especially a teacher, must realize that Indonesian language learning is learning about language skills and not learning about language regulation. By incorporating local cultural values, it is expected that the teaching materials in Bahasa Indonesia will become very interesting to learn. The integration of local cultures in teaching materials in Indonesian language learning will play an important role for students in acting in speech that holds the noble values of Indonesian culture and the learning process will be very interesting for students in SD/MI.
