Wulang: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (WJP) is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education at Institut Agama Islam Pangeran Dharma Kusuma Segeran Indramayu. This journal is published twice a year in June and December. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles concerning research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) / Elementary School (Sekolah Dasar) Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, and educator professionalism. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The review process employs a double-blind review.

Abstract

This research aims at how humanist education proposed by Paulo Freire can be implemented in MI mathematics learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that refers to several sources of research data and data collection techniques in this research in the form of a study of Paulo Freire's perspective on humanistic education. The focus of the research that will be studied is Paulo Freire's humanist education in MI Mathematics learning. In this research, it can be concluded that mathematical abilities help individuals think logically, find solutions to problems, and make wise decisions. So that challenges and obstacles in the mathematics learning process at the MI level can be overcome by implementing a humanist learning approach, utilizing various interesting learning resources, and paying careful attention to each student. Thus, for further research, Paulo Freire's views can be implemented through MI Mathematics learning using a learning model that is relevant to students' conditions both in aspects of cognition and geography, furthermore, it can be linked based on gender and the level of students' initial mathematical abilities to see the differences and influences in the results. student learning.

Abstract

This research aims to examine in an elementary way the correlation and genealogy of a curriculum that implements independent learning for students based on the views of existentialist educational philosophy. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques carried out by researchers using observation. Data analysis techniques in this research include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. In this research, it can be concluded that freedom to learn is freedom for teaching staff and students. So it is coherent with the understanding of existentialism as a learning process that takes place based on the basic, independent curriculum of students. Thus, the relevance of philosophy in education cannot be avoided. Philosophy provides systemic, elementary, and universal direction in various educational problems to obtain the best conclusions. So, for further research, it is hoped that we can examine independent learning for students based on its relevance to philosophical figures to gain insight into complementarity in the implementation of the independent curriculum which is applied to accelerate and equilibrate with current developments.

Abstract

The process of learning Pancasila education in class I at MI Islamiyah Tulungagung Baureno Bojonegoro. Material: I know Indonesia. Using learning resources in the form of textbooks or LKS books by conveying learning material is still monotonous, and rarely uses learning media during the learning process at school, thus making students feel bored and less enthusiastic about participating in the learning process of Pancasila education subjects. The research objectives are: 1). To describe the development of e-book based teaching materials using the book creator application in the material I got to know Indonesia in class 1 MI. 2). To describe the feasibility of e-book based teaching materials using the book creator application in the material I got to know Indonesia in class 1 MI . This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method, the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the research show that this e-book-based teaching material is very suitable for use with the assessment results of media design experts 92%, language experts 90%, material experts 91%, student questionnaire responses 90%, and the average score of students in the pretest 84% and posttest 98%. So it can be concluded that there has been an increase in the ability to understand the material I know about Indonesia for class I MI students.

Abstract

Character education is essential not only in schools but also at home and within the broader social environment. Today, character education is crucial not just for children from early childhood to adolescence, but also for adults. It is imperative for the future of this nation. Consider the competition that will arise in the coming years. It will undoubtedly be a challenge for both parents and society today. In the future, children will compete with peers from around the globe. Even those of us still in the workforce will face similar challenges. The demand for quality human resources in the coming millennium clearly necessitates strong character, as character is fundamental to achieving individual success.

Abstract

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 states that every individual has the right to education. Therefore, education must be accessible to everyone regardless of differences in ethnicity, social status, geographic location, religion, political views, or physical and mental conditions. This highlights that every child should have equal opportunities to receive education. The success of education in Indonesia is generally measured by two aspects: the teaching and learning process, and the outcomes, which are evaluated based on competencies. To achieve this success, educational tools are required, including both human resources (teachers) and non-human resources. However, there is a significant gap between education in urban and rural areas, including in the outskirts. One example is the education of children of fish farmers in the outskirts of Indramayu city. Is it true that schools provide equal opportunities for all children, or is this merely a myth? In reality, social inequality is reproduced through the education system. Does the school system benefit students from higher social classes more? What is the condition of education for the children of fish farmers in the outskirts of Indramayu? Their education in Cantigi Village, Indramayu, falls far below acceptable standards. Even the learning facilities are not comfortable enough for students to gain knowledge. This situation is worsened by the lack of educational facilities to support successful learning, in stark contrast to schools in urban areas. At the primary level, this is the critical time for children to develop their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. This reality aligns with Pierre Bourdieu's critique that schools function as institutions that reproduce social inequality. According to Bourdieu, social inequality in education is particularly evident when comparing the chances of entering higher education: students from upper social classes have an 80% chance, while those from farmer and laborer backgrounds have only a 40% chance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilandaskan oleh fenomena banyaknya siswa di zaman sekarang yang telah kehilangan karakter sopan santun dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penyimpangan moral dan sikap siswa akan semakin tidak terkendali apabila tidak ditangani secara serius. Melihat kenyataan saat ini, peran orang tua dan guru sangat penting dalam membentuk sikap santun pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui strategi guru kelas IX dalam membentuk karakter sikap sopan santun siswa dan mengetahui karakter sopan santun siswa kelas IX di MTs Assunnah Cirebon. Tulisan ini dibuat berdasarkan ilmiah dan data lapangan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data ini menggunakan analisis dokumen, wawancara dan observasi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian bersifat narasi. Data yang disajikan berupa deskriptif mengenai strategi guru dalam membentuk karakter sopan santun siswa kelas IX di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Assunnah Cirebon. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data oleh sumber data kemudian data direduksi. Proses mereduksi data dilakukan dengan merangkum, memilih pokok-pokok informasi, kemudian penyajian data. Penyajian data dilakukan dengan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan sumber informasi yang terkumpul. Hasil temuan ini yaitu strategi yang di lakukan guru dalam membentuk karakter sopan santun meliputi : 1) Memberi salam atau menyapa ketika bertemu guru, 2) Menanamkan pembiasaan baik dan menjadi teladan bagi siswa, 3) Menegur siswa yang tidak sopan baik dalam berbicara atau bersikap, dan 4) Memotivasi siswa agar selalu bersikap dan berbicara sopan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan sikap sopan santun siswa MTs Assunnah Cirebon sudah baik. Akan tetapi perlu adanya peningkatan strategi dalam pembentukan karakter sopan santun siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui di lapangan Strategi Guru akhlak dalam pembentukan akhlak siswa melalui kitab Tadzkirah As-Sami’ wa Al-Mutakallim Fii Adab Al-Alim wa Al- Muta’allim Kelas VII MTs Assunnah Cirebon. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana strategi guru dalam pembentukan akhlak melalui kitab Tadzkirah As-Sami’ Wa Al-Mutakallim Fii Adab Al’Alim Wa Al-Muta’allim. Tulisan ini dibuat berdasarkan ilmiyah dan data lapangan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data ini menggunakan analisis dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian bersifat narasi. Data yang disajikan berupa deskriptif mengenai strategi guru dalam pembentukan akhlak siswa melalui kitab Tadzkirah As-Sami’ wa Al-Mutakallim Fii Adab Al-Alim wa Al- Muta’allim. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data oleh sumber data kemudian data direduksi. Proses mereduksi data dilakukan dengan merangkum, memilih pokok-pokok informasi berdasarkan sumber informasi yang terkumpul. Hasil temuan ini adalah strategi guru dalam membentuk akhlak siswa melalui kitab Tadzkirah as-sami’ wa al-mutakallim fii adab al-alim wa al-mutakallim yang peneliti temukan yaitu: 1. Menjadi teladan yang baik bagi siswa, 2. Memotivasi akan pentingnya akhlak mulia, 3. Menegur atau menasehati siswa yang ditemukan kurang baik akhlaknya, 4. Menceritakan kisah teladan para sahabat dalam menerapkan akhlak yang dapat dijadikan panutan, dan didukung dengan kisah yang terdapat dalam al-qur’an sehingga siswa tidak hanya mengenal materi, 5. Memotivasi siswa untuk menerapkan apa yang disampaikan melalui materi dan kisah, 6. Memerintahkan siswa untuk menghafal kata-kata motivasi dari perkataan para ulama. Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah agar siswa menjadi manusia yang berakhlakul kariimah baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Abstract

Social media is a social structure that comes from individuals and organizations that are bound by the similarity of its users. Social media is an online media that is used as a means of social interaction online on the internet. On social media, users can interact with each other, communicate, share networking and various other activities online. Social media is made to meet human requirements because humans as social beings, are created to socialize. Because the development of the era is increasingly advanced, the main purpose of which is to facilitate users of social media so that they can connect with someone in one country, even between countries or between continents, making it easy for users to socialize. However, in today's modern era, social media does not only function as usual, it turns out that social media has influences on the character education of students who use it. Talking about strengthening the formation of student character through character education in the current context is very relevant to overcoming the moral crisis that is happening, especially in schools. Whether it is recognized or not, there is currently a real crisis that is worrying in the school environment involving students.

Abstract

This research wa motivated by improving science learning outcomes in class V of MI Muhammadiyah Tegalurung. So far, the teaching and learning process has only been carried out conventionally, such as lecturing, taking notes from the blackboard written by the teacher withous using learning media. To improve science learning outcomes, you need to use the right methods and media, one of which is using tools in the from of audio-visual media. This research aims to determine the effect of audio-visual media on science learning outcomes in class V MI Muhammadiyah Tegalurung. This research uses a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design type in the form of a one shot case study, namely an experiment that only involves one experimental class without a comparison class (control) and is carried out pnly using the final test, namely the test after the experimental class is given treatment (posttest). The subjects of this research were 26 students as a trial class for using audio-visual media. In taking samples, this research used the Non-Probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling model. The results of this research indicate that the use of audio-visual media is effective in class V MI Muhammadiyah Tegalurung, which can be seen from the R square value of 0,390 or 39%. The average value of science learning outcomes is 82,1. With a standard devination of 6,1. From these results, there were 25 students (96,16%) who had achieved the minimum completeness score (KKM) and 1 student (3,84%) had not reached the minimum completeness score (KKM). The results of data analysis using the t test with a significance of 0,05 are tcount 3,913 which is greater than ttabel 1,705. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that the use of audio visual media influences science learning outcomes in class V MI Muhammadiyah Tegalurung.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas konsep belajar dan pembelajaran dalam perspektif Islam, yang menekankan pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan sebagai bagian integral dari kehidupan seorang Muslim. Dalam Islam, belajar dipandang sebagai kewajiban yang melekat pada setiap individu, sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam Al-Qur'an dan Hadis. Artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa meskipun belajar dan pembelajaran saling berkaitan, tetapi memiliki fokus yang berbeda. Belajar lebih berfokus pada perubahan internal individu, sementara pembelajaran berfokus pada proses interaksi yang membantu memfasilitasi perubahan tersebut. Pemahaman yang baik tentang kedua konsep ini akan membantu para pendidik merancang pengalaman pembelajaran yang efektif, yang tidak hanya mengembangkan pengetahuan, tetapi juga keterampilan, sikap, dan potensi diri siswa. Pembelajaran yang efektif harus memperhatikan berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi proses belajar, termasuk kebutuhan individu siswa, lingkungan, dan metode yang digunakan.
