Abstract

This research aims to reconstruct the legal protection framework for children who are disconnected from the education system and examine efforts that can be made to ensure their right to education is well-protected. The research results indicate that despite the existence of legal instruments guaranteeing children's right to education, implementation still faces various challenges, especially in the case of school dropout children. Factors such as unequal access, poverty, and psychosocial challenges can be significant barriers for these children to obtain proper education. Therefore, this research recommends the expansion and improvement of existing regulations, increased accessibility to education for school dropout children, and strengthening legal protection mechanisms to ensure that children's right to education can be effectively realized. Thus, the reconstruction of legal protection is expected to contribute positively to fulfilling the right to education for children marginalized from the formal education system.

Hate speech involves communication actions such as provocation, incitement, or insults directed at individuals or groups based on race, skin color, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, and religion. To address this issue, Indonesian law regulates such offenses through various articles in the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP), including Articles 310, 311, 315, 317, and 318, as well as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) Article 45A. Effective and consistent legal measures are necessary to curb the spread of hate speech and protect victims from its negative impacts. Awareness of legal consequences and ethical communication on social media is crucial for fostering a safer and more respectful digital environment.

Abstract

Cybercrime in Indonesia has risen significantly, posing threats to personal data security and critical information systems. The Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) provides a legal framework for addressing cybercrime by imposing criminal sanctions on offenders. The UU ITE covers various aspects, including personal data protection, online fraud, hacking, and malware dissemination. While UU ITE offers a solid legal foundation, challenges remain ineffective implementation and enforcement. Therefore, it is crucial to continuously update and strengthen regulations and enforcement mechanisms to effectively tackle increasingly complex cyber threats in the digital age.
