Abstract

Abstract. This study discusses wage protection in the employment system in Indonesia, with a focus on the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, as well as the challenges faced in implementing wage regulations, such as Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages and Government Regulation Number 51 of 2023 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages. This study examines the extent to of salary policies can maintain workers' welfare without burdening MSME entrepreneurs. The research method used is normative juridical with a statute approach and a conceptual approach, which allows for an in-depth analysis of related regulations and their implications for the implementation of minimum wages in the MSME sector. The results of the study show that although regulations already exist, implementation is still hampered by low legal awareness, weak supervision, and inequality in wage negotiations between employers and workers, which impact the uncertainty of protecting workers' rights.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the creative economy as a driving force for sustainable tourism in the Merbabu Mountain slope area. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted over six months, involving 25 key informants including community leaders, creative economy entrepreneurs, tourism managers, village officials, and tourists. The results show that the Merbabu Mountain slope area possesses diverse creative economy potential, particularly in traditional culinary arts and local resource-based handicrafts. The integration of creative economy with tourism has successfully increased tourist length of stay from 1 to 2.5 days and increased creative economy actors' income by 40% within a year. Despite challenges in product standardization and digital market access, an integrated development model was created comprising human resource capacity building, local wisdom-based product development, tourism package integration, and digital marketing development. The research recommends establishing a creative economy management unit at the regional level to ensure program sustainability. This study contributes to both theoretical understanding and practical implementation of creative economy integration in sustainable mountain tourism development, providing a replicable model for similar regions across Indonesia.

Abstract

The right to advocate immunity is the legal protection given to advocates who can practice their profession freely without the threat of criminal or civil charges. This right to immunity is regulated in Article 16 of Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates. However, the current legal protection is not yet fully effective because there is still a legal vacuum, especially in the scope of immunity rights outside the trial. As a result, advocates are still vulnerable to criminalization when performing their professional duties. This study aims to analyze the legal protection that is regulated and identify the shortcomings of regulations related to the right to advocate immunity. Using a normative legal approach, this study concludes that revisions and improvements are needed to clarify the limitations and scope of the right to immunity, including expanding the role of advocate organizations and educating law enforcement officers to prevent the criminalization of advocates.

Abstract

Islamic entrepreneurship links entrepreneurial activities with Islamic values and principles, which aim to improve the welfare of individuals and society. This study aims to investigate how religious values and business principles can be integrated in Islamic entrepreneurship research through a bibliometric mapping approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database with selected journal articles that met predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, then processed using R Studio (Biblioshiny). This bibliometric analysis highlights the potential for interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-comparison that can broaden the understanding and practice of Islamic entrepreneurship in an increasingly global world. Using a variety of bibliometric techniques, this study reveals existing patterns and trends, and highlights key themes, influential authors, and emerging trends. The results of this analysis are then interpreted in the context of the broader literature on entrepreneurship and Islamic studies, with the aim of contributing to the development of knowledge through a systematic analysis of the structure and development of this field. Although the topic of Islamic entrepreneurship continues to grow, there is a need to deepen the exploration of Sharia Compliance, Earning Management, and related themes such as Social Entrepreneurship and SMEs. Increasing international collaboration and cross-cultural research will enrich insights into integrating Islamic values with modern entrepreneurial practices, creating new opportunities for the development of more sustainable and applicable Islamic entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study explores strategic efforts to optimize hospital health services in Indonesia within the framework of the National Health Insurance (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN). Since its launch in 2014, JKN, administered by BPJS Kesehatan, has aimed to ensure equitable access to healthcare. However, implementation challenges such as limited medical infrastructure, shortages in human resources, and financial sustainability have constrained service quality in hospitals. Employing a literature review methodology, this research analyzed twelve peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025, focusing on strategic responses of hospitals to JKN demands. The review identifies five primary strategies: (1) leveraging hospital management information systems (SIMRS) to enhance operational efficiency, (2) optimizing digital tools such as the Mobile JKN application to improve patient satisfaction and service accessibility, (3) reassessing premium subsidy policies based on participants’ financial capacity to ensure budgetary efficiency, (4) strengthening service quality to build patient loyalty, and (5) addressing service gaps through human resource development, especially in empathy and communication. Findings underscore the importance of integrating technology, improving administrative and clinical workflows, and tailoring financial policies to real-world economic conditions. Additionally, continuous training and performance evaluation are recommended to align hospital operations with JKN standards. The study contributes a synthesized perspective on how Indonesian hospitals can effectively adapt to JKN, highlighting actionable strategies to improve healthcare delivery in a resource-constrained setting.

Abstract

Metacognitive strategies in mathematics remain a challenge for many college students, impacting their ability to apply concepts effectively. This study examined the influence of interactive learning skills on metacognitive strategies among college students in mathematics. Using a descriptive-correlational research design, data were collected from 100 randomly selected students through validated questionnaires. Results indicated that interactive learning skills significantly enhance metacognitive strategies. However, findings suggest that motivation, instructional design, and learning preferences also influence metacognitive development. These results affirm Vygotsky’s Social Constructivist Theory (1978), emphasizing the role of collaboration in cognitive growth. Future research may explore additional factors affecting metacognitive strategies, and educators should integrate structured interactive learning techniques to strengthen students’ problem-solving abilities
