Abstract

The development of financial technology has driven the increasing use of online loans among Generation Z, who are adaptable to technology and have a digital lifestyle. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, lifestyle, and trust on the interest in using online loans among students at Dian Nuswantoro University. The approach used was quantitative with a purposive sampling technique on respondents aged 18–26 who had used online loans in the past six months. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM assisted by SmartPLS. The results showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect on interest in use, with lifestyle being the most dominant factor, followed by trust and perceived ease of use. These findings indicate that Generation Z's interest is driven not only by technical aspects, but also by lifestyle and confidence in the security of services. Therefore, increasing financial literacy is needed to make the use of online loans more prudent.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social factors and institutional reputation on the decisions of civil servant (ASN) muzaki, as well as to examine the role of religiosity as a moderating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 130 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that social influence, institutional reputation, and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on muzaki decisions. Religiosity is proven to moderate the influence of social factors on muzaki decisions, but it does not moderate the influence of institutional reputation. This study confirms that ASN's zakat decisions are influenced by social norms, religiosity, and institutional reputation, so it is necessary to strengthen the social environment, institutions, and religious values.

Abstract

The implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in practice still faces various challenges, particularly in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, which plays a significant role in the national economy. Major obstacles arise from limited resources and organizational culture. In Lampung Province, there are 88,069 MSMEs recorded, dominated by Bandar Lampung City with 51,630 as of July 2025. One operating MSME in Bandar Lampung is Ayam Sambal Ladas, a culinary business established in 2019. The presence of MSMEs in Lampung's leading city in terms of quantity and growth offers a compelling research opportunity, especially in business management. This study focuses on the application of GCG principles at Ayam Sambal Ladas in its operations. By examining GCG implementation in growing MSMEs in this potential region, the research aims to illustrate how good governance can drive performance and sustainability of local culinary businesses. This study aims to analyze the influence of key individual-level GCG principles on GCG implementation from the perspective of Islamic Human Resource Management. It employs a quantitative explanatory approach. Primary data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 35 employees as samples using nonprobability sampling. Analysis involved multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. Results indicate that transparency in communication significantly influences GCG partially, while individual responsibility and accountability do not. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect GCG. From the Islamic HR Management perspective, low responsibility and accountability reflect suboptimal taqwa (god-consciousness), hisab (deed reckoning), and muhasabah dhatiyyah (self-accountability) to realize the amanah (trust) of khalifah (vicegerent).

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effects of workload and work-related stress on employee productivity, with work–life balance as an intervening variable, among Generation Z employees at PT XYZ. The study employed a quantitative associative approach, with data collected through a questionnaire distributed to 284 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and path analysis. The results indicate that work load and work-related stress have a significant partial effect on work–life balance. Workload has a negative effect on work productivity, while work-related stress does not significantly affect employee productivity. Meanwhile, work-life balance was found to have a positive effect on work productivity. In its role as an intervening variable, work–life balance does not significantly mediate the effect of work stress on productivity, but it partially mediates the relationship between work load and work productivity. These findings indicate that proper work load management and efforts to maintain work–life balance are key factors in enhancing the productivity of Generation Z employees within the workplace at PT XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of work-life balance, job autonomy, effective communication, and social support on employee well-being among Generation Z workers employed at digital agencies in Semarang City. The research background stems from the high workload in the digital creative industry, which can affect the psychological and emotional state of young employees. A quantitative approach is employed via survey method, with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to selected respondents based on specific criteria. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique, yielding 123 respondents qualified for analysis. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the interrelationships among the research variables. The analysis findings reveal that all independent variables—namely work-life balance, job autonomy, effective communication, and social support—exert a positive and significant influence on employee well-being. Among these, social support emerges as the most dominant factor, underscoring the vital role of support from supervisors and colleagues in enhancing the well-being of Generation Z workers. These results also indicate that adequate provision of work resources can sustain and boost employee well-being even amid intense job demands, while offering practical implications for digital agency management and a foundation for future studies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify, analyze, and explain the effects of employee turnover and workload on the performance of employees at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan branch offices in the West Java region. This study employs a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS 25 as the analytical tool. The target population consists of 318 BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees throughout West Java, and the sample size is 76 respondents, calculated using the Slovin formula. The research findings indicate that employee turnover has a positive impact on employee performance with a calculated t-value of 4.515, which is significantly higher than the critical value of 1.993. Workload showed a positive effect on employee performance with a calculated t-value of 2.478, which was also significantly higher than the critical value of 1.993. Concurrently, employee turnover and workload exerted a significant influence on employee performance, as evidenced by a calculated F-value of 3.373, which was higher than the critical value of 3.12 at a significance level of 0.040. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.085, indicating that the combined effect of employee turnover and workload on employee performance accounts for 8.5%, while the remaining variation is attributed to dominant factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) on the fulfillment of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles with Digital Transformation as a moderating variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study employs a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 26 mining companies selected through purposive sampling during the 2021–2023 period, resulting in 78 observations. Data were obtained from the companies' annual reports and sustainability reports. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that ESG has a positive and significant effect on GCG principles, as evidenced by a t-value of 5.243 > t-table of 1.662 with a significance value of 0.000. This suggests that the higher the company's commitment to implementing ESG values, the better the company's ability to fulfill good corporate governance principles. However, the interaction test results reveal that Digital Transformation is unable to moderate the relationship between ESG and GCG principles, with an interaction variable significance value of 0.272 > 0.05. This condition indicates that digital transformation in Indonesian mining companies has not been fully integrated with ESG implementation in supporting the improvement of corporate governance quality.
