Abstract

There have been changes in many facets of human life due to technology’s ever-accelerating development. All human affairs and everyday tasks can now be made simpler thanks to technological advancements; the marketing and product sales industry is just one example. These days, technology can help to simplify marketing; it can even be used to sell goods directly to customers online. Naturally, the advancement of this technology benefits both buyers and sellers, as it facilitates the purchasing and exploration of products via digital networks. The growth of MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises), particularly Batik, is greatly influenced by the advancement of digital marketing. Digital marketing facilitates the marketing of batik products by allowing producers or sellers to directly market their products in real-time via social media or marketplaces. The purpose of this study was to examine how advancements in digital marketing technology have affected MSMEs, particularly Batik in Pekalongan. Information is gathered through field observations and observations. It is hoped that the research's findings will shed light on the advancements faced by Batik MSMEs that have adopted digital marketing or digital network marketing, as well as explain the advantages of digital marketing for company growth.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has brought significant changes in society, particularly in the economic sector. The latest technological developments, especially in financial technology, have facilitated Indonesians in their daily activities, access to information, and business development. The rise of digital economy through innovations in financial technology has led to the emergence of cashless payment systems, such as QR code-based payment systems. Despite the benefits of these systems, challenges such as inadequate internet infrastructure and lack of public participation hinder their effectiveness, especially in rural areas like Rowoyoso village in Pekalongan Regency. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing the QRIS payment system for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Rowoyoso Village, Pekalongan Regency. The qualitative research approach involves data collection through interviews with MSMEs owners and observations at the research site. Findings indicate that while QRIS offers convenience and transparency in financial transactions, challenges such as poor internet connectivity and low community participation pose barriers to its successful implementation. The research contributes to understanding the impact of digital payment systems on MSMEs and highlights the importance of addressing infrastructure and community engagement issues for the effective adoption of QRIS. The findings suggest that QRIS can enhance business operations, streamline financial management, and improve security compared to traditional cash transactions. By evaluating the effectiveness of the QRIS payment system, this study provides insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and MSMEs owners to enhance the digital payment ecosystem in rural areas like Rowoyoso village.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of education level on non-food consumption in Indonesia using quantitative analysis with secondary data from the March 2017 National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS). The sample consists of 686,274 individuals aged 19 years and older, with variables including education level (independent variable) and non-food consumption expenditure (dependent variable). Simple linear regression analysis was employed, with data processed using STATA 17.  The results indicate that education level has a positive and significant effect on non-food consumption, as shown by the regression equation Y=322,493.7+800,907.8X+e. The regression coefficient of 800,907.8 implies that a one-level increase in education results in an 800,907.8-rupiah increase in non-food consumption. The p-value of <0.05 confirms the statistical significance of this relationship. However, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.0846 (8.46%) suggests that education explains only a small proportion of the variation in non-food consumption, with other factors, such as income, lifestyle, and demographics, likely playing a more dominant role. This study highlights the critical role of education in shaping consumption patterns and suggests policy implications, including improving access to quality education and addressing broader socioeconomic factors to enhance household welfare. Future research should incorporate additional variables and temporal dimensions to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the determinants of non-food consumption.

Abstract

Economic conditions, unfavorable government policies, the growth of fictitious economic sectors, a lack of education and skills, a shortage of employment opportunities relative to the number of job seekers, and job seeker competencies that do not align with the job market are some of the factors that contribute to unemployment. Analyzing the main determinants of the open unemployment rate in Bengkulu Province is the aim of this study. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed in this work to analyze secondary data from 2012 to 2023 that was obtained from the Bengkulu Province BPS. The study's findings demonstrated that the F count value of 3.391 from the simultaneous test was higher than the F table value of 3.106. The dependent and independent variables are not influenced by one another, it can be concluded. With a significance value of 0.195>0.05, the Human Development Index (HDI) (X4) is the variable that most affects the open unemployment rate in the partial test. It has a positive impact on the open unemployment rate. With a computed t value of 1.433 and a t table of 1.39682, the Human Development Index (HDI) (X4) is the variable that most affects the Open Unemployment Rate. The Determination Coefficient is 0.655, meaning that the Human Development Index (HDI) (X4), Population (X2), Poverty (X3), and PDRB (X1) each contributed 65.5% and 34.5%, respectively.

Abstract

This study examines the management of problematic receivables in Islamic banks, focusing on monitoring mechanisms, resolution strategies, and risk mitigation. The high Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio poses a significant challenge to Islamic banks, threatening their liquidity and reputation. This study evaluates the effectiveness of categorizing problematic receivables, from performing to non-performing financing. The findings indicate that rescue and resolution strategies can effectively reduce the NPF ratio. A case study of PT BPRS Harta Insan Karimah Parahyangan revealed that in 2023, the gross NPF ratio was 1.92%, and the net NPF ratio was 1.50%. Measures to further minimize the NPF ratio include: monitoring financing in the performing category and deposit funds, implementing rescue and resolution steps for problematic receivables, enhancing financing expansion with prudential principles, establishing Allowance for Earning Assets Losses (PPAP), and write-offs. Risk mitigation for problematic receivables can be carried out through.
