Abstract

The goal of this study was to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of competence, motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at Room Division V Hotel Bandung. Utilizing a Likert scale with ordinal measurement, descriptive and verification analysis is the study methodology used. The Product Moment Correlation technique from Pearson, with a saturated sample design of 35 respondents, tests the applicability's validity and dependability. In contrast, the data analysis technique makes use of statistical data analysis and a formula for path analysis. The Successive Interval Method is used to convert the data from the ordinal scale to the interval scale. According to the findings of the hypothesis test, 59.5% of the variance in employee performance is explained by factors other than competence, motivation, and work discipline, while the remaining 40.5% is affected by other factors. According to partial testing, work motivation had a substantial impact on employee performance with a 25.5% effect, competence did not have a significant impact, and work discipline had a big and positive 51.5% impact.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digital marketing strategies on the growth of startup businesses in Indonesia, utilizing a mixed-method approach combining both qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews and case studies, while quantitative data were gathered through surveys from 150 startups across various sectors. The results show that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the most effective strategy, with a 72% correlation to revenue growth and a 68% correlation to customer acquisition. Social media marketing had a 60% correlation with revenue growth and a 55% correlation with customer acquisition, indicating its positive, though slightly weaker, impact compared to SEO. Paid advertising showed a 58% correlation with revenue growth and a 60% correlation with customer acquisition, suggesting it plays a role, but with a lower impact than SEO and social media marketing. A multiple regression analysis confirmed that all three strategies—SEO, social media, and paid advertising—significantly predict revenue growth, with SEO being the strongest predictor (? = 0.35, p < 0.01). The study emphasizes that startups employing a combination of these digital marketing strategies experienced higher overall growth, suggesting that an integrated approach is key to maximizing business success. These findings provide valuable insights for startup owners and marketers to optimize their strategies in a competitive digital landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Government Internal Control System (SPIP) components control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring on the financial management performance of Jambi Provincial Government, as well as to examine human resource capacity as a moderating variable. The study employs a quantitative approach with descriptive and causal research design. A saturated sampling technique was used, involving all 100 employees of BPKPD Jambi Province. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS, preceded by data quality and classical assumption tests. The findings reveal that all SPIP components have a significant effect on financial management performance. The control environment, risk assessment, and control activities show significant negative effects, while information and communication, as well as monitoring, demonstrate significant positive effects. An R² value of 0.834 indicates that the five SPIP variables explain 83.4% of performance variance. Human resource capacity does not moderate most relationships, but negatively moderates the effect of monitoring. This study highlights the crucial role of effective SPIP implementation and continuous human resource development in ensuring strong financial management performance in regional governments.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of new technology adoption on production costs and the supply curve in the manufacturing industry. Using a quantitative approach, panel data from 50 manufacturing companies were collected over a 5-year period (2020-2024). The main variables analyzed were technological investment (proxy: expenditure on R&D and automation machinery), production cost per unit, and supply volume. The findings indicate that investment in new technology significantly lowers production costs per unit (p<0.05). This reduction enables firms to increase the supply volume at any given price level, which is the fundamental mechanism behind the observed rightward shift of the supply curve. This study provides empirical evidence that technological innovation is a key driver of economic efficiency and production capacity growth, ultimately enhancing a firm's market competitiveness.
