The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of junior high school students to Geometry that Flat SideSpaceBuild (BRSD) and the students' response to e-learning based learning. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII-2 SMPN 9 Banda Aceh totaling twenty-two people. Data collected through observation during the implementation of learning and test that consists of an online quiz at each meeting and tests at the end of the implementation of learning to determine the ability of students to understand and master the material BRSD. The result was that 73% of students scored in the top of 60, while a value above 70 was only ten students (45%). Of the whole matter, it turns out there were some students have difficulty in linking formula surface area or volume formula to obtain the value of one unknown. In addition, students still have difficulty in understanding the material prism and pyramid. This was because both of these materials have many kinds. Because of this, e-learning based learning was apt used as one method to improve understanding and learning outcomes of students in mastering the subject matter, especially mathematics. Besides being attractive, e-learning-based learning can help students in mastering the use of computers.

One of the method than can is used in math toward geometry of space material is inquiri method. Inquiri method gives wide experience to students through the process of finding self with cartain steps a get a solution, therefore students can analyze and develop perceptibility. Based on this case, a problem arise that does inquiri mathod can increase students thinking ability toward geometri of space material to the students of SMAN 12 Banda Aceh. This study aims to find out the impact by using inquiri method toward the students achievement geometri of space material for grade X SMAN 12 Banda Aceh. The population of research is all of the students of grade X of SMAN 12 Banda Aceh which has students in total 150 persons consist of of 5 paralel class. The sample is chosen randomly one sample is class X2 which 32 students as control class and the other sample is class X4 which 32 students as experiment class. To get the data is this study, the researcher use test as the instrument. The collected data is processed by using statistic formula t-test and n-gain. Based on the results of analysis showd that the students who were taught by using inquiri method are better than the students who were taught without this method toward geometry of space material in grade X of SMAN 12 Banda Aceh.KeyWords: Inquiri method, thinking ability, geometry of space

Questioning skills is one of the basic skills taught are important to master teachers. Lack of good questioning skills possessed by teachers can lead students in an attention too. This study aimed to describe the questioning skills junior high school teacher in mathematics. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Subjects in this study are two mathematics teachers from two different schools: one teacher MTsN Matangglumpangdua and one teacher SMP N 5 Peusangan. Qualitative data analysis performed on both the teacher to see the questioning skills of teachers in learning. In general, teachers questioning skills include aspects of pausing, prompting and probing in mathematics has been done, but not all of the indicators on each aspect met for each meeting in both schools. In a study in MTsN during two meetings, at the prompting aspect is not done once the indicator solve the question into several sub-questions of the original question and the probing aspects of displacement indicators do not turn. Furthermore, in a study in junior high school for two meetings, on aspects prompting two indicators do not solve the question into several sub-questions of the original question and review (repeat) information previously provided.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menentukan rata-rata hitung dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS (Think Pair Share) pada di kelas XII Akomodasi Perhotelan1. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Objek penelitian dalam PTK adalah antusias siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran operasi bilangan riil (penjumlahan,perkalian dan pembagian). Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 orang siswa.Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi yang dilakukan pada siswa. Berdasarkan observasi hasil penelitian persentase tingkat kemampuan menentukan barisan aritmetika meningkat dari 32 orang siswa terdapat 0% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan menghitung sangat baik, 59,4% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan menghitung baik, 25,0% siswa tingkat kemampuan menghitung cukup. Dan 59,4% siswa yang memiliki kemampuan menentukan rata-rata hitung nilai kurang.Persentase hasil tingkat ketuntasan kemampuan menghitung siswa dari 32 orang siswa pada siklus I pertemuan I mencapai 40,6% siswa yang tuntas dan 59,4% siswa tidak tuntas.Siklus I pertemuan II terdapat 46,9% siswa tuntas dan 53,1% siswa yang tidak tuntas sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan I terdapat 71,9% siswa yang tuntas dan 28,1% siswa yang tidak tuntas sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 100% atau 32 orang siswa yang tuntas. Dengan demikian menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan rata-rata hitung .

Abstract Implementation problem solving as an approach in teaching mathematics besides aiming to improve problem-solving skills can also improve students' critical thinking mathematically. In practice, the application of problem solving approach could be expected to cause change math anxiety. Mathematics anxiety is high or too low will affect the ability of critical thinking mathematically. This research is a quantitative approach to experiment with the aim to obtain a picture of increasing mathematical and critical thinking skills of mathematics anxiety of students in learning by using a problem solving approach is reviewed by the entire student and student grouping. This study uses a form of pretest-posttest control group. Collecting data using a test for mathematical and critical thinking skills questionnaire for math anxiety. Based on the analysis concluded that the increase in critical thinking skills that are taught to students' mathematical problem solving approach is higher than the increase in students' critical thinking skills being taught mathematical with conventional approaches based on the students' overall well-reviewed and reviewed based on grouping students. For math anxiety, there are no significant changes between mathematics anxiety before treatment and after treatment both in classes taught by the problem solving approach and the class is taught by conventional approaches. Based on univariate analysis concluded that there was an interaction between these factors and grouping students learning approach to improving the ability to think mathematically ktitis or math anxiety.Keywords: mathematical critical thinking skills, math anxiety, problem solving approach

Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa, salah satunya adalah ketidaktepatan penggunaan pendekatan, model, metode, strategi, dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dikelas. Salah satu pendekatan yaitu pendekatan Problem Centered Learning yaitu salah satu model yang dapat membantu siswa dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang lebih baik. pendekatan ini dapat digunakan dalam semua mata pelajaran, salah satunya materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada SMP kelas VII di semester satu. pendekatan Problem Centered Learning memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan bakat dan dapat meningkatkan daya fikir dalam memecahkan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa SMP Negeri 3 Banda Aceh sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan Problem Centered Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-group pre-test and pos-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Banda Aceh tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 di SMP Negeri 3 Banda Aceh. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini hanya satu kelas yang diajarkan dengan Problem Centered Learning yaitu kelas VII9 yang diambil secara random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan tes dengan soal yang berbentuk essay, tes dilakukan dua kali sebelum perlakuan (Pre-Test) dan setelah perlakuan (Post-Test) yang berjumlah 10 butir soal. Uji normalitas pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji-t berpasangan, dengan taraf signifikan dan derajat kebebasan . Dari hasil pengolahan data penelitian didapatkan bahwa derajat kebebasan (dk) = 33 ini menunjukkan bahwa yaitu . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa: “terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar operasi hitung bilangan bulat siswa SMP Negeri 3 Banda Aceh sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan pembelajaran dengan Problem Centered Learning”.

Salah satu materi yang masih kurang dikuasai siswa pokok pengajaran matematika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah operasi bilangan real. Siswa hanya menghafal cara mengoperasikan bilangan akibatnya hasil belajarnya rendah. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi matematika realistik pada pembelajaran materi operasi bilangan real sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Telkom Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengimplementasikan matematika realistik pada operasi bilangan real di kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Telkom Banda Aceh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Telkom Banda Aceh yang terdiri dari 38 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/pengamatan dan refleksi. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dalam operasi bilangan real mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini terlihat berdasarkan : nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 6,47 dan termasuk dalam kategori kurang, nilai rata-rata pada siklus II sebesar 7,73 termasuk kategori cukup dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus III mencapai 8,28 termasuk kategori sangat baik. Selama pembelajaran perilaku siswa mengalami perubahan ke arah positif. Perubahan terjadi, yaitu: siswa merasa senang dan tertarik dengan pembelajaran yang mengimplementasikan pendekatan realistik pada penjumlahan operasi bilangan real, sebagian siswa sangat antusias dalam pembelajaran, siswa menyelesaikan soal-soal dengan penuh konsentrasi dan sungguh-sungguh dan keseriusan siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan.

Relational understanding in mathematics is important for the student's it causes understanding the mathematical concepts will be memorable if he knows the process of getting the concept by linking it with the knowledge to be learned. This study aimed to examine the relational understanding of students in discovering the concept of f '(x) using Geometer's Sketchpad, and the relational understanding of students in discovering the concept of f (x) = x2 + c let f' (x) = 2x using Geometer's Sketchpad. It also investigated the students' responses when they use Geometer's Sketchpad in understanding the derivative function. The study used a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were three Year 11 students of one the junior high school in Meuredu, Aceh, Indonesia. The instruments were observation sheet, interview guides, student worksheets and test questions. The data analysis included the classification of information obtained from observations when the subjects used software Sketchpad Geometers in their learning. Information about students' relational understanding obtained from the student worksheets reinforced with test questions and interviews so that the results can be accounted for. This study concluded that (1) students' relational understanding (Subjects RV, subject MR, subject AA) in discovering the concept of f '(x) using Geometer's Sketchpad was good; (2) students' relational understanding (Subjects RV, subject MR, subject AA) in discovering the concept of f (x) = x2 + c let f '(x) = 2x using Geometer's Sketchpad was a good; and (3) the responses of Subjects RV, subject MR, subject AA in using Geometer's Sketchpad were positive, each research subject was very pleased and liked to use Geometer's Sketchpad in understanding the derivative function.

Abstrak Matematika pada hakikatnya matematika merupakan suatu ilmu yang didasarkan atas akal (rasio) yang berhubungan benda-benda dalam pikiran yang abstrak atau matematika memiliki objek kajian yang abstrak. Pembelajaran yang dapat dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan penerapan pendekatan realistik. Prinsip dasar desain pembelajaran matematika realistik, yaitu; 1) Penemuan kembali secara terbimbing dan prosen pematematisasi secara progresif, 2).Penomena bersifat mendidik. 3) Mengembangkan model sendiri. Pembelajaran matematika yang realistik merupakan pembelajaran matematika yang lebih terpusat pada kegiatan belajar siswa dengan dunia nyata sebagai titik pangkal pembelajaran. Langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan realistik dalam pembelajaran Matematika adalah 1) Menghadirkan masalah kontekstual 2) Menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual. 3) Mendiskusikan selesaian masalah kontekstual. 4) Menyimpulkan materi pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: pendekatan realistik, pembelajaran matematika

Student mastery of the basic arithmetic operations of mathematics is still low, especially for students who received school education background before heterogens. This research was conducted to determine the type of error that made the students in doing mathematics basic arithmetic operations, increase students' ability to perform basic arithmetic operations through the implementation of the mathematics matriculation, and suitability scores obtained by students with a score of predetermined targets. This research is a descriptive qualitative research subjects were 27 students of class X SMK 2 Langsa. Data were analyzed using the concept of Miles and Huberman: includes the step of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the errors made by the students in solving basic math arithmetic operations are procedural and conceptual errors. Procedural errors do end results is a mistake, an error in the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of integers. Conceptual error committed is a mistake to equate the denominator in the operation of addition and subtraction of fractions, simplifying error in root form, and errors in rationalizing the denominator.
