Jurnal Pendidikan Nusantara merupakan wadah ilmiah yang memfokuskan diri pada publikasi naskah di bidang Ilmu Pendidikan dan Humaniora, termasuk Pendidikan Agama Islam. Pertama kali terbit pada bulan Februari 2016, jurnal ini telah mencapai 24 edisi hingga saat ini. Ruang lingkupnya meliputi hasil penelitian maupun kajian analitis-kritis tentang isu-isu pendidikan dan sosial kemasyarakatan dengan tujuan menjadi sarana kredibel bagi akademisi serta peneliti untuk membagikan karya, studi, makalah, dan berbagai bentuk penelitian lainnya. Melalui publikasi tersebut, Jurnal Pendidikan Nusantara berupaya meraih reputasi nasional dan turut mempromosikan kemajuan, pemahaman, serta pengembangan, pendidikan, dan Humaniora. Dalam pengelolaannya, Jurnal Pendidikan Nusantara menerapkan proses seleksi naskah melalui mitra bestari (reviewer) dan editor guna menjamin mutu setiap artikel yang diterbitkan. Informasi lengkap mengenai pedoman penulisan dan proses pemuatan artikel dapat diakses melalui situs resmi di https://journal.sepercenter.org. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Sepercenter yang berlokasi di Kota Banda Aceh, Indonesia, dengan format terbitan cetak dan daring (online) yang dapat diunduh secara bebas.Untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kontribusi ilmu pengetahuan, Jurnal Pendidikan Nusantara hadir secara berkala sebanyak tiga kali dalam satu tahun. Dengan demikian, peneliti dan akademisi di berbagai bidang studi diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan jurnal ini sebagai media publikasi dan diskusi ilmiah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning model in improving students' understanding of the subject of History of Islamic Development at IT Salman Bin Aswet NU Middle School. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students who had difficulty understanding history material. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw model was able to significantly improve students' understanding. This is proven by the increase in the average grade from pre-cycle to cycles I and II. In addition, this model also increases students' active involvement in learning, strengthens social interaction, and improves their critical thinking skills. Thus, the Jigsaw-type Cooperative Learning model can be an effective alternative learning strategy to improve students' understanding of the history of Islamic development.

Abstract

Reading the Qur'an properly and correctly is a fundamental skill that every Muslim must master from an early age. However, many elementary school students still have difficulty in reading the Qur'an with fluency and eloquence. This study aims to improve the Qur'an reading skills of students at the Mandumpang Elementary School by applying the talaqqi method. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. The research subjects are students in (specify the grade) with a total of (number of students). Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and Qur'an reading tests. The results showed that the talaqi method was able to significantly improve students' Qur'an reading skills. In the first cycle, the percentage of students who read well reached (state the percentage), and increased to (state the percentage) in the second cycle. Thus, the talaqqi method can be used as an effective approach in learning to read the Qur'an at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Career guidance programmes play an important role in helping students plan and develop their future careers, especially at vocational secondary schools that are oriented towards work readiness. This study aims to describe the implementation of a career guidance programme to prepare students at SMK El Mosthofa for the world of work, as well as the effectiveness and obstacles encountered in this career guidance programme. This research uses a qualitative approach. In this study, the researcher will observe and interview teachers and students using instruments that have been prepared. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and distribution of questionnaires. The results show that the career guidance programme at SMK El Mosthofa has been implemented quite well. The strategies employed include providing career information services, group counselling, and developing students' vocational skills. The programme is effective in enhancing students' career readiness, as evidenced by more focused career planning, improved understanding of the workplace, and an increase in the number of graduates employed in the workforce, reaching 65% of the 75 graduates. However, the study also identified several challenges, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, and a shortage of career counsellors exceeding the ideal number. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the career guidance programme at SMK El Mosthofa provides significant benefits for students in preparing themselves to enter the workforce. Despite some obstacles, the programme can be optimised with better management and adequate support.

Abstract

The hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW are the main source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an, containing many dimensions, including social ethics. In the context of contemporary Islamic education, social ethical values derived from the hadiths are urgent to be contextualised in the character building of students. This article aims to explore the contribution of the Hadith as a foundation for fostering social ethics in the modern Islamic education system, as well as addressing the challenges of social values in an increasingly complex society. Through a qualitative approach using literature review, this article highlights that values such as honesty, justice, social responsibility, empathy, and solidarity contained in the hadith can serve as pillars of Islamic character education that are relevant and applicable in the era of globalisation

Abstract

Millennials face complex moral challenges amid technological advances, globalisation, and changing social values. Moral decadence, individualism, hedonism, and spiritual disorientation are major issues that threaten the character of the younger generation. This article aims to examine the relevance of the teachings of the Qur'an and hadith as solutions to the moral crisis of the millennial generation. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, this article concludes that Qur’anic and Sunnah values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and piety have high urgency to be internalised through contextual Islamic character education. Education based on revelatory values has great potential in building a generation that is moral, moderate, and competitive in the digital age.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di perguruan tinggi. Namun, pemanfaatannya oleh mahasiswa sering kali belum terkendali dan belum didukung oleh literasi digital yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi praktik penggunaan AI oleh mahasiswa, peran dosen dalam pengawasan, serta merumuskan strategi peningkatan literasi digital yang relevan dengan konteks lokal. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), serta studi dokumen di Universitas Al Washliyah Darussalam Banda Aceh, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa meskipun mahasiswa aktif menggunakan AI seperti Gamma dan ChatGPT, tingkat pemahaman etis dan kritis terhadap teknologi masih rendah. Dosen cenderung belum memiliki panduan baku dalam mengawasi penggunaan AI, sehingga diperlukan intervensi sistematis. Temuan penelitian menghasilkan sejumlah strategi peningkatan literasi digital, antara lain pelatihan berkelanjutan, integrasi etika digital dalam kurikulum, penyusunan panduan penggunaan AI, serta penguatan peran dosen sebagai fasilitator. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi institusi pendidikan dalam menyusun kebijakan pembelajaran yang adaptif, bertanggung jawab, dan berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu (LPM) memiliki tupoksi dalam menjaga kualitas perguruan tinggi, Keberadaan LPM tidak hanya ditujukan untuk memenuhi standar akreditasi dan regulasi nasional, akan tetapi juga sebagai upaya internal institusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu (LPM) dalam meningkatkan kinerja dosen dan kualitas pembelajaran di Universitas Al Washliyah Darussalam Banda Aceh. Adapun metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam (dept-interview) dengan pimpinan LPM, dosen, dan pimpinan akademik di lingkungan Universitas Al Washliyah Darussalam Banda Aceh, serta dilengkapi dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga Penjaminan Mutu (LPM) telah melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan strategis yaitu audit mutu internal, sosialisasi standar penjaminan mutu, dan pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas dosen. Di sisi lain, efektivitas peran tersebut masih terkendala oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia di LPM, rendahnya kesadaran mutu di kalangan dosen, serta lemahnya mekanisme tindak lanjut dari hasil evaluasi. Meskipun terdapat dukungan dari pimpinan institusi dan upaya integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam sistem penjaminan mutu, budaya mutu yang berkelanjutan belum sepenuhnya terbentuk. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi peran LPM memerlukan penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan, pelatihan berkelanjutan, integrasi sistem reward-punishment, serta komitmen kebijakan yang konsisten. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LPM memiliki potensi besar sebagai agen perubahan, diperlukan pendekatan holistik dan kontekstual agar dapat menjadi motor penggerak peningkatan kualitas akademik yang berkelanjutan di Universitas Al Washliyah Darussalam Banda Aceh.

Abstract

    Education management in Indonesia faces various significant challenges, one of which is conceptual errors in its implementation. This article aims to analyze the misconceptions about educational management that often occur in Indonesia and their impact on the quality of education. The research method used is a literature study by collecting data from various related sources, including journals, books and educational reports. The results of the analysis show that errors in the concept of education management in Indonesia include inaccuracies in planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. This article concludes that serious efforts are needed to correct misconceptions about educational management through increased understanding, training and continuous evaluation. The recommendations put forward include strengthening the education management curriculum, increasing the capacity of teaching staff and managers, as well as implementing policies that are more relevant and contextual.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the education system, including Islamic education. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, as one of the most prolific contemporary scholars, provides relevant insights on how Islam should respond to the changing times. This article examines the transformation of Islamic education in the digital age by referring to al-Qaradawi's ideas on the flexibility of Sharia law, the importance of ijtihad, and the urgency of utilising modern technology for da'wah and education. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review of al-Qaradawi's works, particularly those related to education and the use of technology. The results of the study show that Islamic education in the digital age must integrate the values of Sharia with technological innovation, strengthen spiritual competence as well as digital literacy, and develop a curriculum that is adaptive to the needs of the times.

Abstract

  This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the storytelling method in fostering students' interest in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at UPTD SPF SDN Blok VI Baru. This study utilised a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, with 28 fifth-grade students as research subjects. The instruments used included observation sheets, learning interest questionnaires, and reflection notes. The results showed that the storytelling method was able to significantly increase students' interest in learning. In cycle I, the percentage of students who showed high interest in learning was only 65%, but this increased to 88% in cycle II. Students were more enthusiastic, actively asked questions, and showed full attention to the material presented through stories. Thus, the storytelling method can be an alternative SKI learning strategy to create a fun learning atmosphere while fostering students' love for Islamic history.
