Abstract

The selection of outstanding students at the elementary school level is an important effort to recognize academic and non-academic achievements. However, manual assessment processes often lead to subjectivity and inefficiency. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist in selecting outstanding students at SD N 1 Tegineneng using the VIKOR (VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) method. VIKOR is chosen because it provides a compromise solution among conflicting criteria. The criteria used in this system include academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, discipline, and student attitudes and behavior. Data were collected through observations and interviews with school staff. The test results indicate that the system can provide accurate and objective recommendations based on the mathematical calculations of the VIKOR method. This DSS helps ensure that the selection process is more transparent, efficient, and on target.

Abstract

Keterlambatan pembayaran dan proses administrasi keuangan di SD Negeri 1 Petai Kayu merupakan salah satu problem karena dengan adanya beberapa faktor tersebut dapat menghambat dan memperlambat pendapatan. Teknologi dipandang sebagai faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan keuangan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Dengan menerapkan teknologi, diharapkan proses administrasi pembayaran bisa dilakukan secara lebih cepat, fleksibel, dan transparan. Saat ini, SD Negeri 1 Petai Kayu masih menggunakan proses manual yang membutuhkan waktu dan berpotensi kehilangan data. Sistem pembukuan yang belum terdigitalisasi menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam pelaporan dan pembayaran, serta dapat berdampak pada kinerja sekolah dan kedisiplinan dalam administrasi keuangan. Melalui pembangunan sistem informasi pembayaran, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan proses transaksi keuangan, membantu dalam pemantauan dan pelaporan keuangan, serta memungkinkan akses data secara online dari manapun dan kapanpun. Diharapkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi pembayaran ini akan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan di SD Negeri 1 Petai Kayu.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based educational game application that uses an English picture guessing method as a learning medium for elementary school students at SD Bumi Ayu. The application is designed to enhance students’ interest and understanding of English vocabulary through an interactive and engaging approach. The development process follows the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The testing results show that the application performs well on various Android devices and receives positive feedback from both students and teachers. The use of attractive images and visual-based quiz challenges is considered effective in helping students learn and retain English vocabulary. Therefore, this application has the potential to serve as an alternative learning tool that supports teaching and learning processes at the elementary school level.

Abstract

In today's modern era, technological advancements have transformed traditional face-to-face learning into information technology-based education. Books and teachers, once the primary sources of learning, are now supplemented by internet-based resources, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, which required online learning innovations. One such innovation is mobile learning, defined as the use of mobile devices in teaching and learning processes. This study aims to develop electronic teaching materials in the form of mobile learning for the English subject at SDN 1 Banjar Manis. English is a compulsory subject at the elementary level, emphasizing interaction and vocabulary development to support daily communication skills. The mobile learning application allows students to download teaching materials via smartphones installed with the mobile learning platform. The application was developed using Android Studio, Notepad, PHP, a MySQL database, and designed with Photoshop. With this application, teachers and students can easily interact online, and learning materials can be accessed anytime and anywhere, making the learning process more flexible and effective.

Abstract

Basically, technology is needed in various fields, especially in education. In education, technology must be utilized as much as possible, especially in managing attendance for students, teachers and education personnel. At UPT SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi, attendance management is still done manually. With the manual method, sometimes the attendance data is inaccurate, there are too many files in the form of paper that pile up, making it difficult to summarize and difficult to find the data needed on a particular day or month. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based attendance management application at UPT SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi which is still done manually. With the data input application, it will be more efficient and accurate, because schools are required to work quickly. For this reason, research was conducted using observation and interview methods to obtain accurate and reliable information data which then entered the application system design stage. The design of this web-based attendance application uses PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL Database which makes it easy to store large amounts of data. With the design of this application, it is expected to facilitate the management of the presence of Students, Teachers and Education Personnel at UPT SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi. The management of attendance that already uses a system and is structured will later facilitate reporting of attendance both daily, monthly and semesterly. Not only for UPT SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi but can be applied to other educational institutions that still use manual methods.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-mobile-based extracurricular registration information system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of extracurricular management at SMA Negeri 1 Gedong Tataan. The system addresses problems arising from manual registration processes, such as data inconsistency, limited information accessibility, and inefficiencies in managing student participation. The system was developed using a structured system development approach, combining the Waterfall and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods, supported by Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system modeling and a prototype approach for user interface design. The application provides integrated features including online registration, user account management, extracurricular scheduling, attendance tracking, assessment management, and centralized reporting. The implementation results indicate that the system enhances data accuracy, reduces administrative workload, improves information transparency, and increases accessibility through mobile devices. Overall, the proposed system contributes to improved extracurricular management performance and supports the digital transformation of school administrative services.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, particularly the internet, has significantly influenced access to information by making it faster and more accurate. In the education sector, information technology can be optimally utilized through websites as media for information dissemination and student registration to improve service quality. At Ummul Quro Islamic Boarding School, information delivery and new student admissions are still conducted manually, which limits efficiency and accessibility. Therefore, this research aims to develop an information system that functions as a medium for delivering information and managing new student registration so it can be accessed anytime and anywhere without requiring direct visits. The research employs the waterfall method, a systematic and sequential software development approach starting from planning to implementation. The results show that the developed web-based information system effectively improves information accessibility and service processes, particularly in new student admissions. The system enhances administrative efficiency, simplifies data input, reduces errors, accelerates data recording, and supports better management of Islamic boarding school information.

Abstract

Learning English is an important component in the global education curriculum, considering its role as an international language that supports cross-cultural communication and scientific fields. Likewise, the development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including in the field of education. In this digital era, traditional learning methods are often considered less effective in attracting students' interest, especially in learning foreign languages ​​such as English. With more and more young people using mobile devices, there is a huge opportunity to leverage technology to create more engaging and interactive learning experiences. This research discusses the development and implementation of educational games specifically designed for English language learning. This research also aims to design and develop an English language learning application based on educational games on the Android platform. The method used in this research is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, a systematic approach to designing, developing and implementing systems. It is hoped that this English learning educational game application can improve students' ability to learn and understand English.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is a crucial component of the educational process for measuring students’ learning outcomes and the effectiveness of teachers’ instructional strategies. However, conventional learning evaluation still faces various challenges, including teachers’ limited time, potential subjectivity in assessment, and delayed feedback for students. This study aims to develop and implement an Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based learning evaluation system at UPT SDN 2 Panggungrejo to improve the efficiency, objectivity, and quality of learning evaluation. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method, which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation of system effectiveness. The theoretical framework is grounded in Constructivist Learning and Adaptive Learning theories, which emphasize conceptual understanding and the adaptation of learning processes to individual students’ needs. The results indicate that the AI-based evaluation system is capable of automatically analyzing students’ learning outcomes, providing faster and more accurate feedback, and assisting teachers in designing more adaptive and data-driven instructional strategies. Therefore, this system has strong potential to enhance the quality of learning evaluation and overall instructional processes in elementary schools.
