Abstract

Ainun and Habibie is a film that has the second highest audience after Laskar Pelangi in Indonesia. Film Habibie and Ainun tell the story of Habibie life’s that has a tremendous love for his wife, family and country. Nationalism owned Habibie made him have to choose between his family and his country. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing the representation of nationalism owned Habibie and Ainun Habibie film so this research entitled "Representation of Nationalism In Film Habibie and Ainun". The focus of this research is how the representation of nationalism in the film and Ainun Habibie. This study used a qualitative method with semiotic analysis. Signs that represent nationalism in the film Ainun Habibie and the object of this study will be analyzed using the theory of semiotics John Fiske The Codes of Television. Data collection techniques in this research is the analysis of signs and literature.The results of this study is the ideology of nationalism which is owned by Habibie in the film Ainun Habibie and represented by means of speech, movement, expression and dialogue. So although the film Habibie and Ainun wrapped with drama romance between Habibie and Ainun, in this film there is the ideology of nationalism from a Habibie.

Abstract

Da'wah values are derivatives or developments from sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Qur'an and Sunnah. Therefore, Abdul Basit grouped them into three types, namely; Universal values, cultural values and personal values. The three groups produced several derivatives of da'wah values as follows, namely the value of discipline, the value of honesty, the value of hard work, the value of cleanliness, the value of competition. This research is a type of qualitative research with the aim of producing descriptive data in the form of written, spoken words from people and observable behavior in order to provide clarity on the relevance of Islamic da'wah values in the Ngarot tradition in Lelea village, Lelea district, Indramayu district. Data collection techniques in this study used the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study explain that the implementation of the Ngarot tradition is carried out on Wednesdays (except Kliwon Wednesday) in December every year. The process is, a parade (parade) around the village of Lelea, the handover of panca usaha tani (five objects that are closely related to agriculture), then ends with artistic entertainment. Among the goals of this tradition is as a form of gratitude for the arrival of the rice planting season. The da'wah values contained in this Ngarot tradition include; First, the value of discipline in the implementation of the Ngarot tradition is reflected in the attitude to be able to protect oneself from adultery and the command to be able to restrain one's lust. Second, the value of honesty in the form of orders to always maintain faith, orders to spread peace, gratitude and orders to do good deeds. Third, the value of hard work which is reflected through the command not to give up. Fourth, the value of competition is reflected through the command of friendship, maintaining togetherness and intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing communication strategy of GMT Baubau store in increasing brand awareness of Samsung brand cellphone products. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study show that the GMT Baubau store has successfully implemented a holistic and measurable marketing communication strategy to increase brand awareness of Samsung brand mobile products. The focus of marketing is on social media, especially Instagram and Facebook, as well as organizing sales promotions, such as cheap redemption/gift every year, creating active interaction with consumers and providing attractive offers. Although faced with barriers such as price competition, promoters, and similar products with high specifications, GMT Baubau stores need to continue to create added value, build positive shopping experiences, and improve interactions with consumers. A more competitive pricing strategy and a conventional marketing approach through brochures can also be differentiation factors. Thus, the GMT Baubau store can overcome challenges in a fierce competitive environment and strengthen brand awareness of Samsung brand mobile products, making the GMT Baubau store the main destination for consumers in finding quality products with attractive added value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the process of interpersonal communication, interpersonal communication barriers, and the quality of interpersonal communication between husband and wife in an effort to maintain household harmony. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques used include: observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was checked using the source triangulation technique, using reference materials and member check techniques. The results of this study indicate that in general, informants have a communication process that is characterized by exchanging information, always limiting the topics they want to talk about, and revealing something they don't like from their partner for good. Communication barriers to informants consist of physical, psychological, and conflict barriers. The quality of informant communication consists of openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, honesty, and equality. However, the third and fourth informants did not have a supportive attitude aspect.

Abstract

Abstract : Communication is an important aspect of human life, especially in households, believed to have good feedback, communication often becomes the main problem that arises in household life. Interpersonal communication is a form of communication that must be applied to avoid problems in the household. The subjects in this study are young couples whose ages of marriage are not far apart. This study seeks to describe in depth what informants experienced through a phenomenological approach. The researcher uses two research data, namely primary and secondary data, where primary data comes from direct interviews with informants, while secondary data comes from journal articles, books, and the internet. The results of this study indicate that the process of interpersonal communication is very important, especially for young couples whose ages are not far apart to prevent problems in maintaining the household. Deduced from daily observations, it can be inferred that the informant has already implemented exemplary interpersonal communication skills. Henceforth, in order to establish a harmonious family unit, young couples are required to maintain cohesion and commitment towards their common objectives. Keywords: problematic, interpersonal communication and young couples.

Abstract

The spread of Islam in Indonesia carried out by missionaries is carried out through several methods, one of which is using voice communication media, namely the art of music. In the Minangkabau area, Islamic Sharia is the foundation and reference of the socio-cultural order so that it unites and forms local wisdom and one of the forms of cultural products that is influenced by Islam is the art of Dikie Pano in Pasaman Regency. West Sumatra Province it self also has an art similar to Dikie Pano which is spread to several other regions with different names such as Dikie Mundam Luhak Tanahdata, Dikia Rabano Ampek Angkek and Dikia Mauluik in Ulakan Pariaman. Dikie Pano in Pasaman Regency is still extremist to this day and the performances are always held at cultural rituals and celebrations of holidays in Pasaman Regency, for example the celebration of the Equatorial Culmination Point, and the Pasaman Birthday. In Dikie Pano's performance material , there are Islamic syiar values presented with chants and poems that contain sharia elements and are ringed with rhythmic melodies from the tambourine percussion instrument called Pano. This paper explains the Art of Music Dikie Pano as an effective means for da'wah whose research is carried out with an ethnographic approach and using descriptive analysis. Results In the study, Dikie Pano is a combination of Islamic, Minagkabau, and Arabic elements which has the main target of spreading Islamic religious teachings. It is said to be a da'wah medium because Dikie Pano in his performance uses percussion instruments in the form of tambourine and singing using lyrics in the form of prayers taken from the Qur'an and verses in the Book of Barzanji by the Arabic writer Al Barzanji, so that through the performance it is effective as a means of conveying the teachings of Islam.

Abstract

Fashion bagi kalangan mahasiswa dan santri kini telah berkembang dan dimaknai sebagai sesuatu yang penting sekarang ini. Dari hasil penelitian dan hasil wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber, tak sedikit yang mengatakan bahwa fashion merupakan bentuk dari ekpresi mereka dalam beragama terrutama dengan masalah penampilan. Dalam dewasa kini, Islam bukan lagi diartikan hanya sebagai suatu pedoman ajaran hidup, namun bisa diartikan sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup di era modern. Terutama dalam komodifikasi ajaran agama dan fashion sebagai salah satu bentuk wajah baru dari identitas muslim yang ada di Indonesia, atau lebih dikenal dengan budaya Islam Fashion. Dalam metode penelitian ini, peneliti mengguanakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosilogis agama dengan menggunakan grand theory Max Weber dan Karl Mark. Dari hasil penelitian, Pada realitanya, peneliti sering menemukan beberapa mahasiswa yang menggunakan pakaian almamater kampus namun dengan fashion yang modis Seperti gaya model Jilbab kekinian sebagai kombinasi dari almamater tersebut. Maka dalam hal ini bisa dikatakan juga bahwa fashion merupakan bentuk ekpresi diri dengan maksud tujuan supaya orang lain suka apabila melihatnya. Sehingga akan menimbulkan rasa kesenangan dalam diri kita dan orang lain yang melihatnya. Pandangan ini jika dilihat dari segi sudut pandang nilai estetika. Komodifikasi agama yang peneliti temukan tidak hanya sebatas memberikan kesenengan secara non-materil, ada juga yang bersifat materil. Artainya mereka melakukan komodifikasi agama untuk mencari daya nilai yang bisa ditukar secara komersil, sepertihalnya kapitalisme. Penanaman konsep kapitalisme yang di imbangi oleh spritualisme dinilai akan mampu mendorong motivasi seseorang untuk mengembangkan SDM dan meningkatkan produktivitas pekerjaanya serta memaknai pekerjaanya merupakan bagian dari suatu perintah agama (ibadah). Dalam kondisi tertentu, menurut pandangan Weber, ketika seseorang bekerja dengan landalasan konsep spiritual, hal inilah yang menjadikan kaum Kristen calvin hidup dalam suatu kesederhanaan, merasakan bahagia meskipun hidupnya sederhana, orientasi materi yang mereka dapatkan haruslah berguna bagi kehidupan dunia akhirat

Abstract

The phenomenon of da'wah on Instagram raises questions about social learning (social learning) Instagram as a medium of da'wah and can be seen from the many findings of the hijrah movement campaign through Instagram. This is not a few young people who study religion through social media, one of which is through Instagram. However, the rise of #hijrah on Instagram is not enough to indicate the success of da'wah. So the phenomenon of migration on Instagram does not guarantee a change in a person. Therefore, da'wah can be said to be effective if it is able to educate, motivate or change the behavior of the target da'wah for the better (hijrah) religiously. This study aims to determine audience attention, audience retention, audience motor reproduction, and audience motivation in accessing da'wah content on social media Instagram on the account @shiftmedia.id. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. The informants in this study were students IAI Bunga Bangsa Cirebon who joined or became followers on the Instagram account @shiftmedia.id as many as 8 people. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, checking the validity of research data using source triangulation techniques and method triangulation to test the validity of data related to the research problem studied by the researcher. The results of this study indicate that the delivery of da'wah through video content via Instagram on the account @shiftmedia.id can be said to be effective. This can be seen from the da'wah video on the Instagram account @shiftmedia.id that is able to provide religious understanding and shape the motivation and behavior of hijrah on informants. However, the motivation and behavior of hijrah are also influenced by the intensity and attention of the informants in accessing the da'wah videos on the account. A person with a higher level of attention, retention and motor reproduction will produce greater hijrah motivation and more progressive hijrah behavior through social learning.

Abstract

The emergence of podcasts in the digital era has become a new alternative for audiences who are getting bored with existing audio content. In today's digital era, technology is being consumed massively, podcasts play a role in shaping people's thinking, behavior and culture. This study aims to determine the implications of podcasts in changing audience thinking and behavior. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Meanwhile, the data validity test was checked using the source triangulation technique. The results of the research show that the existence of Podcasts in the digital era cannot be separated from its very flexible accessibility. Podcasts are the only media that includes a variety of interesting information content that can be consumed or enjoyed through applications connected via the internet network. In addition, listening to podcasts can have a very influential impact on the audience, from cognitive, behavioral, to cultural aspects in society.

Abstract

The unique and 'wild' lyrical rhetoric loaded and used by Nadin Amizah in the song Rayuan Perempuan Gila seems to create a chain effect that creates a new trend among its listeners. The trend that emerged, where the majority of listeners consciously opened themselves by conveying their shortcomings or declaring themselves as 'crazy women' to their partners or even to the public. Therefore, an analysis of the meaning of the song lyrics was conducted to solve the question "What is the meaning of the rhetoric of the lyrics and how is the representation of women in the song Rayuan Perempuan Gila, Nadin Amizah?" and aims to find out the meaning or rhetoric of the lyrics and the representation of women. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, using Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic approach with explanation and understanding model. Based on the analysis that has been done, it is found that the rhetoric of the lyrics of this song is a manifestation of all the author's worries about her partner's love, the author's sincerity reveals her shortcomings and even the author's courage in representing herself as a crazy woman, the author promises to be a better partner and leave all the bad traits of previous relationships. The results of the analysis of the song lyrics above also show the results that the song Rayuan Perempuan Gila, Nadin Amizah represents women as partners who are full of worries about the failure of past relationships to repeat, want to always be given answers and replies to feelings of love, women who are also figures who also have personalities that can make it difficult for their partners.
