This research describes the moral values in the folk tales of Rantau Kalis Village and their implementation in Indonesian language learning at Karya Budi High School, Kapuas Hulu Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a sociological literature approach. Data were collected through direct communication, recording, observation, and documentary study techniques, using interview guides, recording devices, observation guides, and the researcher as the instrument. The results of the study show that moral values related to God are found in the stories "Liakung," "Bararu," and "Batu Rabor." Moral values related to oneself are found in "Liakung," "Tau Masek-Masek," "Bararu," "Batu Rabor," and "Mantusan Tampurung Amas." Moral values related to fellow humans are found in "Baling Bunga dan Bunga Lita," "Tau Masek-Masek," "Batu Rabor," "Bararu," "Liakung," and "Bintang Talu." The implementation of learning at Karya Budi High School has been well executed, with students able to find implicit and explicit meanings in the folk tales, as evidenced by their assignments. These moral values help shape better student character. Additionally, folk tale-based learning makes students more interested and motivated in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the knowledge and practice of implementing the green accounting concept among laundry business owners in Sukolilo sub-district. The method used is descriptive analysis, focusing on laundry owners as the research object. The results of the tests carried out by researchers using SPSS v 26, T test showed that environmental concern was 0.057 < 0.05 so it could be proven that environmental concern had a significant effect on cost knowledge. Environmental awareness is 0.161 > 0.05 so it can be proven that environmental awareness has a significant effect on cost knowledge. The F Test results also show that Environmental Concern and Awareness jointly influence Cost Knowledge. And the R test shows that the independent variable, namely environmental concern and awareness, contributes an influence of 5.1 percent to the level of the dependent variable, namely cost knowledge. This indicates that it can be concluded that laundry business owners in Sukolilo sub-district quite understand and apply the concept of green accounting in their business.

Abstract

This study aims to produce media in the form of learning videos integrated with Islamic values on students' mathematical representation skills on statistics material that reaches the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research is included in development research using Thiagarajan's 4D research design. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of Nurul Islam Junior High School Kubu Raya with a total of 22 students.  The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and test questions. Based on the results of the first study, the validation of the learning video is with an average value of the three experts of 90.15% in very valid criteria with very good categories.  The second is the value of practicality, seen from the value of the questionnaire filled by teachers and students obtained a percentage of 92% with very practical criteria.  Meanwhile, to see the effectiveness of media in the form of learning videos measured from student test results obtained a percentage of 86.36% with very effective criteria. So that the media in the form of learning videos integrated with Islamic values is suitable for use in learning mathematics on statistics material.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the results of hematocrit levels based on blood retention time for 1 minute and 4 minutes. The design of this study was an experimental laboratory with the subjects of the study being 3rd year D-III Medical Laboratory Technology students of STIKES Panrita Husada Bulukumba. A total of 17 samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The dependent variable of the study was hematocrit levels, while the independent variable was the duration of retention. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test through SPSS 20. The results showed that the average hematocrit level at 1 minute retention was 0.37%, while at 4 minutes retention it increased to 0.40%. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the two retention times with a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). The increase in hematocrit levels at 4 minutes retention was caused by hemoconcentration due to the longer retention duration. The implication of this study is the need for consistency in retention time during blood sampling to prevent biased examination results.

Abstract

Nail infection or tinea unguium is a disease caused by dermatophyte fungi and often occurs in fisherman due to their activities in wet environments without protection such as gloves or boots. Common symptoms found include nail damage, thickening, nail lifting, uneven broken nails, loss of shine, and discoloration to yellow, brown, or black. This study aims to identify the types of dermatophyte fungi that cause tinea unguium in fisherman in Tanah Lemo Village. This study used a qualitative approach with a fungal culture method using Saboraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) media and microscopic examination using 10% KOH solution. The study population was 115 fisherman, with samples of 25 people taken from their nails through macroscopic and microscopic examination methods. The results showed that a wet and dirty work environment is a major risk factor for fungal infections in fisherman's nails. The implication of this study is the importance of prevention efforts through education on the use of personal protective equipment, such as gloves and boots, to reduce the risk of fungal infections. Additional factors such as the length of exposure to wet environments also affect fungal growth, so better risk management of the work environment is needed.

Abstract

Internal Quality Assurance (PMI) is a preventive and supervisory activity in the laboratory to ensure precise and accurate examination results. This study aims to evaluate the precision, accuracy, and types of analytical errors in PMI urea parameters in the laboratory of H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba Regency. This descriptive study uses a mixed method with secondary data from PMI results for October–December 2023. The results showed that the average (Mean) urea value in October was 35.53 mg/dL, SD 1.77 mg/dL, CV 4.99%, and d 0.77%; November 35.48 mg/dL, SD 1.74 mg/dL, CV 4.89%, and d 0.88%; December 35.43 mg/dL, SD 1.81 mg/dL, CV 5.10%, and d 1.03%. The CV (precision) and d (accuracy) values are within the maximum control limits (CV ?8%, Bias ±10%). Westgard rule analysis showed violations of the 1-2s rule in October, in the form of warnings without affecting the validity of the control, while no violations were found in November–December. Conclusion: The precision and accuracy of urea parameters are in the good category based on the Levey-Jennings graph analysis and the Westgard rule.

Abstract

Humans require food and beverages that serve as building materials, regulators, and sources of energy. Protein is an essential component that functions in tissue maintenance, formation of essential body compounds, antibody production, and maintaining bodily balance. However, the protein content in packaged dairy cow milk can decrease over storage time after packaging, which may affect the nutritional value received by consumers. This study aims to identify and analyze changes in protein levels in packaged dairy cow milk over three days after packaging. The research method used is UV-VIS spectrophotometry with a Genesys 10-S spectrophotometer to measure the protein content in dairy cow milk samples taken from Gunung Perak Village, Sinjai Barat Subdistrict, Sinjai Regency. The results showed that the protein content of the milk one day after packaging was 0.027%, two days after packaging was 0.021%, and three days after packaging was 0.019%. This decrease in protein levels indicates that the duration of storage after packaging negatively affects the protein quality of the milk. The implication of these research findings is the need for special attention in the storage and distribution process of packaged dairy cow milk to maintain its protein content, ensuring that the nutritional value received by consumers remains optimal. Further research with different methods is recommended to obtain more in-depth information about the factors influencing changes in protein levels in the milk.
