Abstract

This article comprehensively analyzes the relationship between sustainable marketing and corporate social responsibility (CSR) as pillars of modern business strategy. Amidst increasing consumer awareness and regulatory pressures, companies are required to integrate economic, environmental, and social aspects in their operations. Sustainable marketing focuses on the development and promotion of environmentally and socially friendly products/services throughout their life cycle, while CSR encompasses ethical and philanthropic initiatives that enhance a company's positive impact on society. This study adopts a systematic literature review method by analyzing secondary data from reputable scientific journals and sustainability reports. The results show that these two concepts are complementary: sustainable marketing is effective in communicating CSR values to stakeholders, while CSR provides an authentic foundation for sustainability claims. Identified benefits include enhanced brand reputation, consumer loyalty, competitive differentiation, and operational efficiency. Despite challenges such as initial costs and measurement complexity, strategic integration of the two is essential for creating shared value and achieving long-term competitive advantage. This article concludes that sustainable marketing and CSR are no longer optional, but rather strategic imperatives for future business success. This study analyzes 40 articles selected from an initial 150 articles through a systematic selection process.

Abstract

Pricing of pharmaceutical products is a strategic component in pharmacy management that directly influences a clinic’s profitability. This study aims to analyze the pricing process and evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on profit improvement at the Pharmacy Installation of Klinik Utama Eliezer Sejahtera Nabire. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and internal document analysis. The findings reveal that the clinic applies a cost-plus pricing strategy, which calculates selling prices based on purchase cost, operational expenses, and a predefined profit margin, while adhering to government regulations such as the Highest Retail Price (HET). This strategy has contributed to financial stability and patient loyalty; however, challenges such as fluctuating distributor prices and low consumer purchasing power hinder optimal profit realization. Strategic recommendations include regular price evaluations, implementation of digital inventory and pricing systems, and the development of flexible pricing schemes tailored to patient segments. The study offers practical insights for pharmacy service managers and serves as a reference for developing adaptive and sustainable pricing policies in clinical settings.

Abstract

This study aims to explore employees’ experiences in responding to performance improvement policies at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in North Toraja Regency. Utilizing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five purposively selected participants. The findings reveal that understanding of performance-related policies remains uneven among employees; workplace facilities are inadequate in several units, and the reward–punishment system lacks consistent implementation. Furthermore, the current leadership style is perceived as open but not fully participatory, and disparities in work environments across divisions contribute to diminished motivation. Key driving factors of performance include intrinsic motivation, work commitment, and peer support, while inhibiting factors involve unclear performance targets, limited infrastructure, and ineffective interdepartmental communication. This study underscores the need for a contextual approach in performance policy formulation, equitable distribution of resources, and the development of participative leadership practices to foster a fair and productive organizational culture.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) Balo'ta in Makale, Tana Toraja over the 2019–2023 period. A descriptive quantitative method was applied using secondary data from annual financial reports. The analysis employed financial ratios—liquidity, solvency, activity, and profitability—to evaluate the cooperative's condition and its ability to sustain operations. Results indicate that KSP Balo'ta maintained a strong liquidity position throughout the study period. Although solvency ratios declined due to increased reliance on external funding, profitability showed significant improvement in the final year. Activity ratios also revealed efficient asset management. These findings offer strategic input for strengthening capital structure and financial management amid economic fluctuations, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study contributes to the development of cooperatives as resilient and adaptive community-based financial institutions. Keywords: financial performance, savings and loan cooperative, liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contextual development of human resources (HR) in supporting public welfare during the era of digital transformation in Nabire Regency. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving stakeholders from government, education, and public communication sectors. The findings reveal that despite growing awareness of digitalization, key challenges persist, including limited digital literacy, inadequate technological infrastructure, and disparities in HR competencies. Contextual strategies—such as mobile training units, community-based outreach, and engagement of local leaders—have proven effective in reaching remote areas. The study underscores the need for inclusive policies and cross-sectoral collaboration to build a sustainable HR development ecosystem responsive to technological change. The research concludes that digital transformation can serve as a catalyst for public welfare if supported by competent and locally attuned human resources.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Eco Design Strategy (EDS) and Green Value Creation (GVC) on Business Growth (BG) among Indonesian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), while examining the moderating role of Industry Type (IT). Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 195 SMEs across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Makassar and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both EDS and GVC significantly and positively impact business growth, highlighting the strategic importance of adopting sustainability practices. However, the moderating effect of industry type on the relationship between green strategies and business growth was found to be statistically insignificant. These findings provide empirical support for the integration of eco-innovation and green value generation as key drivers of competitive advantage, regardless of industry category. The study offers both theoretical implications for sustainability literature and practical insights for MSME managers seeking to enhance performance through environmental initiatives.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of service quality and work environment on employee satisfaction at the Regional Agency for National Unity and Politics in Central Papua Province, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 40 civil servants through structured questionnaires. The results were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that both service quality and work environment significantly influence employee satisfaction, with work environment emerging as the more dominant factor. This highlights the critical role of creating a conducive and supportive workplace in enhancing job satisfaction within public institutions. The implications of this research suggest that regional government bodies aiming to improve employee satisfaction should prioritize internal service quality while ensuring a positive work environment. This study contributes to the literature on public sector human resource management by providing empirical evidence from a newly established autonomous region in Indonesia. Limitations and directions for future research are also discussed.
