Abstract

High-risk pregnancy is a dangerous condition that can potentially cause maternal death, such as from bleeding, eclampsia, and infection. High-risk pregnancy remains a health service issue, particularly in the field of obstetrics (Manuaba, 2007). Many high-risk pregnancy cases are found in the community, but healthcare workers cannot identify them one by one; hence, the role of healthcare workers is crucial in detecting pregnant women. One of the actions includes health promotion and risk prevention, such as providing nutritional supplements, iron, tetanus toxoid immunization, and counseling on pregnancy danger signs and family planning. Several risk factors present in a mother can turn her pregnancy into a high-risk one. These risk factors can be minimized and managed with appropriate prenatal care services (Saifuddin, 2005). Factors that pregnant women need to be aware of that can trigger a high-risk pregnancy include maternal age ≤ 20 years and ≥ 35 years, giving birth to four or more children, child spacing ≤ 2 years, height ≤ 145 cm, poor obstetric history, previous cesarean section, mild pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, hydramnios/polyhydramnios, intrauterine fetal death, post-term pregnancy, abnormal fetal position, antepartum hemorrhage, and severe pre-eclampsia/eclampsia.

The prevalence of anemia in the world is estimated at 9% in developed countries and 43 percent in developing countries (Amaris & Rachman, 2022). The World Health Organization (WHO) (2013) states that anemia is one of the health problems worldwide, especially in developing countries and often occurs in pregnant women who are one of the populations with a disproportionate rate of anemia (Rizki et al., 2022; Aisah et al., 2022). Pregnant women need a minimum of iron in a TTD preparation of 90 tablets during pregnancy. However, the success rate of consuming Fe tablets is not optimal because of the mother's disobedience factor in consuming it for various reasons such as being lazy to take it, forgetting, nausea after consuming it. Abstract

Aromatherapy is one of the non-pharmacological interventions that nurses pay attention to.** Aromatherapy is a healing method that uses highly concentrated essential oils with fragrant aromas extracted from plant essences. The primary components of the oils provide a distinct aroma or scent, which is obtained from a specific plant (Geddes, 2000). Aromatherapy is composed of various types of volatile plants extracted from sources such as flowers, leaves, wood, roots, bark, and other plant parts. In more detail, aromatherapy is a form of treatment using volatile plant aromas (Yoshiko and Purwoko, 2016). Aromatherapy can come in the form of liquid or aromatherapy candles. Naturally derived aromatherapy candles are preferable compared to synthetic air fresheners, which may actually harm the health of those who inhale them (Minah et al., 2017).Coffee-scented aromatherapy candles can be made by coffee farmers as an additional product, besides coffee as a beverage. Roasted coffee, once ground into powder, can be combined with wax to create coffee-scented candles. Attractive production and packaging can increase the selling value of coffee-scented aromatherapy candles, especially if they are used in patient interventions in hospitals. This community service activity in the field of entrepreneurship aims to develop coffee products into coffee-scented aromatherapy candles and train students to become entrepreneurs and creative product developers. The target audience for this activity is nursing students at the Bengkulu Polytechnic of Health and coffee farmers.
