Abstract

Convergence is an approach to provide coordinated and integrated interventions in order to jointly prevent stunting. The implementation of convergent interventions is carried out by aligning the planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and control of cross-sector activities, especially priority groups in the village. One of the efforts to convergence stunting prevention in the village is through community participation approach with the development of Rumah Desa Sehat as community centers. Rangga Surya Village in Belawang District is one of the locations where there is a priority group for accelerating stunting prevention in Barito Kuala Regency. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding and direction on the importance of the existence of Rumah Desa Sehat as a gathering place or joint secretariat in the field of health that serves as a joint learning space, aspiration excavation, cultural actualization, community activities, access to information and community health care forums, as well as education and social. The method carried out in community service is by educating and socializing directly to village officials, community leaders and the community in Rangga Surya Village. Education and socialization resulted in an agreement that Rumah Desa Sehat will be established as an effort to accelerate stunting prevention in Rangga Surya Village, Belawang District.

Abstract

Currently, stunting is a global problem and greatly affects the quality of human resources. Chronic malnutrition for a long time can also cause various health problems that affect quality of life. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge to 27 mothers at school of PAUD Kasih Bunda about the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene in an effort to prevent stunting in Lok Rawa Village, Mandastana District also to another targets 22 mothers at the East Delima Berangas Posyandu. In addition, an evaluation of the PERMATA BUNDA (Pemberian Makanan Tambahan Untuk Ibu Hamil dan Anak Balita) and SIBERKAT (Simpanan Ibu BERsalin yang bersinergi untuk masyaraKAT) program were carried out at posyandu delima III, Berangas Timur Village, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The method used in this service is educational activities and hand washing practices as well as face to face interviews with the community. The results of this service show that there is an increase in knowledge regarding stunting and how to prevent or overcome it. They hope that the Permata Bunda program can continue to be implemented to support health status in the present and in the future.

Abstract

The right intervention in handling and reducing stunting is nutrition-sensitive intervention. Nutrition-sensitive interventions intervene in the causes of stunting by improving sanitation and increasing the supply of clean water through a community-based clean water supply system so that access to proper sanitation and access to clean water, especially safe drinking water. Pindahan Baru Village, Rantau Badauh Sub-district is one of the locations that is a priority group for the acceleration of stunting prevention in Barito Kuala Regency with clean water and sanitation problems that can be said to be inadequate because it is still oriented towards the use of river water and floating latrines. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide understanding and direction on the importance of environmental conditions, namely the lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities and aspects of unqualified latrines that greatly affect the incidence of stunting. The method used in this activity is assistance in planning work programs carried out in the village and their implementation directly in the field which aims to educate directly to elementary school students and community leaders, village officials, and the community in Pindahan Baru Village. Assistance in planning and implementing the education resulted in an agreement that the Clean Water and Sanitation Decent Village based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Program is closely related to efforts to accelerate stunting prevention in Pindahan Baru Village, Rantau Badauh District.

Abstract

The wall magazine in an educational environment serves as a crucial tool in facilitating communication, disseminating information, and encouraging participation within the realm of learning. This community engagement project aims to introduce and implement wall magazine management concepts at Patih Selera Elementary School (SDN), with the goal of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in information dissemination to students, teachers, parents, and the school community. The project methodology comprises several stages, including identifying needs and challenges in wall magazine management, developing management guidelines, conducting training for teachers and students regarding their contributions to content creation, as well as implementing and evaluating the outcomes. Developing students' skills in writing, designing, and managing magazine content is a primary focus of this initiative. Results of this engagement showcase significant improvements in collaborative efforts among teachers, students, and parents in gathering information, designing layouts, and distributing the wall magazine. Student involvement in the creative process and increased parental contributions in terms of feedback and support have collectively led to a more informative and relevant wall magazine. Additionally, structured and organized management optimizes production and distribution processes, expediting information dissemination. This engagement article sheds light on the implementation of wall magazine management within the elementary education context. The positive outcomes derived from this initiative contribute to fostering an environment of informed, engaged, and collaborative learning. The experiences shared in this project can potentially serve as a reference for other schools, aiding them in developing effective and sustainable wall magazine management practices

Abstract

Stunting merupakan suatu kondisi akibat kekurangan gizi berdampak kepada penghambat pertumbuhan linear balita. Penyebab umum terjadinya stunting pada anak adalah kurangnya pemahaman ibu tentang anak stunting dan kurangnya variasi makanan bergizi dan mudah disiapkan. Oleh karena itu, program yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mempercepat proses penurunan stunting melalui peningkatan pengetahuan ibu dan operator tentang stunting, memasak makanan sehat untuk mengatasi stunting (DASHAT), pelatihan penyiapan makanan bergizi dan evaluasi program kerja. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi konsultasi, pelatihan dan supervisi tim DASHAT. Acara ini akan berlangsung pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2023 di Desa Raden. Melaksanakan pendidikan stunting bagi pengelola dan masyarakat lokal. Tim DASHAT telah dilatih tentang cara menyiapkan makanan bergizi. Pengetahuan manajer meningkat setelah penilaian menggunakan metode tanya jawab.

Abstract

In addition to being a national health issue, stunting is a worldwide health concern because it lowers productivity, inhibits IQ, and causes disease in human resources. The purpose of this activity is to enhance cadres' proficiency in processing MP-ASI using the traditional knowledge of kelakai leaves in Samuda village, Belawang District, Barito Kuala Regency, as well as their knowledge base about stunting and MP-ASI. The KPM Cadres (Human Development Cadres), Posyandu Cadres, TPK (Family Assistance Team), and village food cadets are the targets of this community service project. The initial step in this activity's methodology is creating an MP-ASI Formula Book using Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris (Burm.f.) Bedd. Second, the practice of directly preparing meals and educating people about health and nutrition The information is delivered through interactive lecture and discussion methods as well as simulations. This community service was carried out over two meetings. The location for this service activity is at the Samuda Village Hall. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge after the training activity was held, namely that the level of understanding increased significantly from 0% to 100% in two aspects of knowledge, namely MP-ASI criteria and family medicinal plants that stimulate appetite. The results of the analysis of different tests showed that there was a difference in the mean knowledge scores of participants before and after being given the training (p = 0.000). Conclusion: The application of nutritional literacy with the help of formula books and job sheets has been proven to be able to increase cadres' knowledge and skills and effectively foster innovation in making MP-ASI formulas as potential family-based family nutrition boosters

Abstract

Stunting is an urgent issue to be addressed seriously and collaboratively. The purpose of this activity is to understand to the community of Village Bi-ih about the importance of preventing stunting, improvement of the consumption of public food from various available, nutritious and affordable foods through training Healthy Food Menu as well as the development of Healthy Lifestyle. The method of implementation of community service is carried out with the method of participatory approach where the entire activity involves partners and society. The DASHAT (Healthy Kitchen on Stunting) accompanying activities were held in the Village Office Hall of Bi-ih and attended by a total of about 30 people consisting of 20 families at stunting risk and 10 village CTC cadres. While activities for the youth element can create an interactive and exciting learning experience with the media game snake ladder Ayu Ting Ting (Atasi Yuk stuntTING, it's pen) as a stunting literature on high school students Muhammadiyah Village Bi-ih. The activity was successful in training the skills of caders and families at stunting risk in the creation of healthy food menus, knowledge of how to process food hygienically and correctly for the age of the child, as well as training Clean and Healthy Lifestyle.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Tabunganen Tengah, dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dengan dapur sehat untuk mengatasi stunting. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode focus group discussion, penyuluhan, praktek, pendampingan, serta evaluasi kegiatan. Partisipasi dan antusiame masyarakatdalam kegiatan sangat baik, kelompok mitra berkontribusi aktif dalam pengadaan keperluan pelatihan serta aktif berbagi pengalaman. Dampak dari kegiatan penyuluhan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dasawisma dalam mengolah makanan dari bahan alam setempat. Kegiatan penyuluhan pemberian makanan bergizi dari bahan alam lokal, Desa Tabunganen Tengah sangat bermanfaat dan diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems in toddlers that has become a global concern in recent years, especially in low- and middle-income countries including Indonesia. Therefore, the program carried out in the form of efforts to reduce stunting by increasing adolescents' knowledge about the importance of fulfilling nutrition in the food eaten through Piringku education. The method of implementation is by giving a pre-test and then presenting the material and giving a post-test to measure understanding after receiving the material. The program took place on August 14, 2023 at SMP and SMK Muhammadiyah Desa Panggung.

Abstract

This article documents the community service program implemented by UM Banjarmasin students in Batik Village. The main objective of this program is to improve the quality of life and health of the community, with a special focus on stunting prevention, improving children's nutrition and dental health, and developing creativity and art. The approach used in this activity is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, which includes surveys, interviews, observations, workshops, and interactive activities with the community. The results of the program showed an increase in community awareness and understanding of the importance of nutrition and health, as well as the development of children's skills and creativity. The article also provides recommendations for future program improvements, including increased collaboration, use of technology, and active community involvement. This program has demonstrated how a holistic and participatory approach in community service can have a significant impact on the development of the Batik Village community.
