Abstract

This study aims to describe the paradigm and strategies of production and operational efficiency in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Songket Peci in Batu Bara Regency. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and MSME documentation. The research results show that the songket peci production process is still carried out manually, relying on traditional skills, so the production time is relatively long. In addition, operational efficiency is not yet optimal due to limitations in equipment, time management, as well as the management of raw materials and labor. Nevertheless, the quality of the products produced has high aesthetic value and competitiveness at the local level. This study’s contribution emphasizes the importance of paradigms and strategies for production effectiveness of local wisdom products that are holistic, accommodative, and contextual.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe Charles Sanders Peirce's pragmatism and its relevance to the Islamic Education paradigm. This qualitative study is in the form of a literature review. Content analysis was used in this study. Data was obtained through documentation techniques. The results of the study show that pragmatism is a school of thought in philosophy which assumes that the truth value of a concept or theory is determined by its usefulness in practice. Meanwhile, the pragmatic approach in Islamic education can be implemented by providing students with real experiences so that they can hone their critical and creative thinking skills. This research contributes to the understanding that the philosophical thoughts of Charles S. Peirce, especially in the field of pragmatism, have great potential to enrich and expand education in Islam

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Gemini AI in mathematics learning oriented toward Islamic values, drawing on constructivist learning, AI pedagogy, and Islamic moral education perspectives. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The study was conducted through a socialization program involving teachers as participants. Data were collected using questionnaires to measure teachers’ understanding and abilities before and after the intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of Gemini AI, with the mean score increasing from 2.45 (low category) to 4.12 (high category). In addition, teachers’ ability to integrate AI into learning was categorized as high, with an average score of 3.98, where 76% of teachers were in the high category. The findings indicate that the integration of Gemini AI is associated with increased teacher understanding and perceived ability to implement AI in learning. In addition, teachers reported that AI can facilitate the incorporation of Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, and justice into instructional contexts. These findings suggest that value-based AI utilization can serve as a strategic innovation in improving learning effectiveness while fostering students’ character development.

Abstract

This article examines how Detik.com discursively constructed Hajj 2026 amid escalating Middle Eastern tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. While previous Indonesian applications of Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis have largely focused on electoral politics, religious moderation, and domestic ideological contestation, limited attention has been given to how online news frames pilgrimage resilience during geopolitical crisis. Using Norman Fairclough’s three-dimensional CDA, this study analyzes ten Detik.com reports published between March and April 2026. The analysis focuses on textual strategies, discursive production, and sociocultural explanation. The findings show that Detik.com systematically framed Hajj as safe, continuous, and spiritually protected through repetitive reassurance, dominant reliance on official voices, and narratives of economic shielding. At the textual level, the reports privilege certainty, continuity, and calm; at the discursive level, they circulate an official reassurance frame across multiple channels; and at the sociocultural level, they prioritize spiritual stability and state legitimacy over geopolitical anxiety. This article offers a conceptual contribution through the notion of hajj resilience discourse, defined as a mediated formation in which language, authority, and religious symbolism jointly sustain trust in worship under crisis conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this qualitative study, employing a normative-sociological approach, is to identify the various social factors that contribute to the phenomenon of premarital sexual relations among Papuan Muslims in Wamena. Primary data was obtained through interviews and observation, whilst secondary data was sourced from relevant literature or documents. Analysis was conducted by relating field findings to Émile Durkheim’s theoretical framework of social behaviour. The results of the study indicate that the main factors influencing this phenomenon are weak religious education, inconsistent family control, the dominance of permissive customs, and the influence of social media and global culture. This study emphasises the importance of strengthening religious education, family supervision, and the integration of Islamic values with local wisdom as preventive measures to reduce premarital behaviour among religious communities.

Abstract

The present study utilises a mixed-methods approach to analyse the psychological, physiological and educational consequences of the menstrual period among Iraqi female undergraduate students, while clarifying how Islamic rulings and linguistic interpretations of related writings notify academic activities and institutional habits. 25 Iraqi female students across two Iraqi universities completed validated psychological impact scales, symptom records, and designed questionnaires. Quantitative results showed significant relations between menstrual signs and reduced awareness, increased exhaustion, and decreased classroom involvement (p < .01). Qualitative results revealed that religious understandings concerning Muslim females' purity and attendance affect learners’ insights into academic activities during menstruation. The results shed light on gender, religion, and education in Muslim contexts and suggest a sensitive policy for institutional care procedures.
