Abstract

In this research, researcher tested material of Asphalt Concrete (AC) with coarse aggregate from Lahat and fine aggregate from Tanjung Raja South Sumatera, asphalt from Pertamina with Pen. 60/70,  while the filler material to be used is from Cement Baturaja. Proportion of filler to be used are 0%; 1,0%; 2,5%; and 4,0%. Marshall test results for each proportion of filler 0%, 1,0%, 2,5%, and 4,0% to the value of the KAO obtained 6,00%, 6,40%, 6,50% and 6,60%. Stability values respectively: 1225,67 kg, 1168,73 kg, 1187,60 kg, 1299,63 kg. Rated flow: 4,67 mm, 4,64 mm, 4,61 mm, 4,52 mm. VIM values obtained: 4,411%, 5,146%, 3,076% and 2,953%. VMA values obtained: 16,778%, 18,240%, 16,682% and 16,769%. VFA values obtained: 73,716%, 71,789%, 81,563%, 82,394%. Marshall Quotient: 262,77 kg / mm, 251,99 kg / mm, 257,54 kg / mm, and 287,88 kg / mm. Stability rest: 87,00%, 85,86%, 87,19% and 88,43%. The test results showed that while all Asphalt concrete mix with cement filler additive proposition to meet the criteria specified loss of stability due to immersion for 7 days is greater than 75%. From all asphalt concrete mixture obtained show that using the proportion of filler cement additive increase by 4% in asphalt concrete mix will increase the stability of the mixture, with a long soaking in water for 3 days. With the addition of additive filter using the proportion of cement by 4% in the asphalt mixture will be obtained concrete pavement material that can withstand heavy traffic load, during the service life of the road.

Abstract

Concrete is a building which is composed by an aggregate (sand rocks), cement and water (plus the other ingredients can be additive or admixture). Much research has been done on the concrete technology to meet the needs in infrastructure development started from the street, buildings, bridges, etc. The more concrete and more widespread use of the increasing scale of development also shows the more concrete needs in the foreseeable future, thus affecting the development of concrete technology which will demand new innovations regarding the concrete itself The times in the era of globalization, this resulted in a rapid increase of the number of goods waste residu which existence can be a problem for life, one of which is the presence of household glass waste. In this regard the efforts made are the utilization of powder glass as fine aggregate additive to enhance strong press concrete. Glass powder is used as a supplement for is smooth, with the addition of different variations, it is hoped to provide strong value press the concrete which is more varied and can be determined the  optimum levels of glass powder. As for the variation of the addition of powder glass used is 0 %, 25 %, 50 %, 75 %, and 100 %, with tests on a 3-day, 7-day, 14-day and 28 days. The result shows that glass powder can increase the strength of the concrete of compressive strength of concrete press 12 % normal, whereas for the optimum proportion is 25%.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur dari suatu daerah merupakan tolak ukur dari perkembangan otonomi daerah. Pembangunan jalan pada suatu ruas jalan disebabkan oleh kebutuhan, juga meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan yang melewati suatu daerah tersebut. Kebutuhan yang dimkasudkan seperti jalan telah rusak ataupun tidak ada akses jalan sama sekali untuk menuju kesuatu daerah seperti yang terjadi di Ruas Jalan Pampangan – Lebung Batang STA 0+000 – 6+039 Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir Provinsi Sumatera Selatan ini.Didalam merencanakan desain geometrik jalan raya, hal-hal yang menjadi acuan dalam perencanaan meliputi perhitungan alinyemen horizontal, alinyemen vertikal, serta menetapkan perkerasan apa yang akan digunakan.Dari hasil perhitungan-perhitungan diatas maka Jalan Pampangan-Lebung Batang ini merupakan jalan Arteri kelas I dengan kecepatan rencana jalan 60 km/jam, dan pada jalan ini menggunakan 4 buah tikungan diantaranya, 4 Full Circle, 2 Spiral Circle Spiral dan 2 Spiral Spiral. Lapisan permukaan jalan menggunakan Perkerasan Rigid dengan tebal lapisan 29,5 cm, sedangkan lapisan pondasi bawah menggunakan Lean Concrete dengan tebal 10 cm dan Aggregat Kelas A dengan tebal lapisan 15 cm. Pembangunan ruas jalan ini dilaksanakan dalam waktu 266 hari kerja dengan total dana Rp 123.828.951.800,00 (Seratus Dua Puluh Tiga Miliyar Delapan Ratus Dua Puluh Delapan Juta Sembilan Ratus Lima Puluh Satu Ribu Delapan Ratus Rupiah)Kata kunci : Jalan, Desain Geometrik, Tebal perkerasan kaku

Abstract

Provision of public transport and transport infrastructure Sriwijaya University Student Palembang is a staple in the smooth lectures on campus Indralaya Ogan Ilir. There are two types of transportation that provided by the Bus and Train, trains are provided by local governments in addition to providing transportation facilities Students and also as one of the local government's efforts to reduce vehicle traffic density.Object of this study is Sriwijaya University students, lecturers / employees, the public and some officials associated with the provision of public transport. Furthermore, the data which obtained were  processed using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for priority services and descriptive methods to determine the level of officers sevice and infrastructure that had been their experienced.The results illustrate that the decline of students interest in using of rail facilities is not due to rail transport cost, the desired order of priority is the security services (36.7%), Comfortable (28.7%), On time (21.6%) and low cost (13% ). As while for the factors that influence the selection of public tran sport is the total of travel cost which cheap and easy.

Abstract

Every day, family residential neighborhoods discard the waste water that should be stored and processed. Most of waste water management system still does not meet the health requirements, it still use local waste water treatment systems (on-site) like septic tanks, because central wastewater treatment (sewage) is still not widely available in Indonesia. The local system does not require a huge cost when compared to a centralized system. Implementation and operation of the local system is more simply. Problems frequently encountered on the local system : the capacity and dimensions of septic tank does not fit requirements; effluent and influent not specification, there is no air pipes; channel infiltration does not performed percolation tests, the location of infiltration is too close with shallow wells; the slope of the bottom of the tank is not enough and only with one room at a time so that when suck the mud will be smelled. Need for septic tank construction planning, use of materials and determination of the true capacity of the septic tank. Also planning further treatment of septic tank with a leach field using channel permeation or infiltration wells. After calculation based Planning Procedures Septic Tank With Infiltration System SNI: 03-2398-2002 by way of calculation, capacity and dimensions are smaller than the septic tank by way of the table. After that, drawing plan should be made complete and detailed.

Abstract

Aspek topografi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam perencanaan galian dan timbunan.  Mengingat perlunya dipertimbangkan aspek topografi yaitu faktor ketinggian permukaan dari muka laut dalam perencanaan jalan maka perlu ditemukan suatu metode untuk memudahkan penentuan ketinggian permukaan tanah dari muka laut.  Pengukuran ketinggian yang dilakukan secara manual tentunya membutuhkan biaya dan waktu yang sangat besar.  Untuk itu perlu dilakukan suatu penelitian yang menganalisis ketinggian secara spasial menggunakan metode penginderaan jauh dengan memanfaatkan citra Digital Elevation Model (DEM) SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission), sehingga didapatkan klasifikasi ketinggian yang dapat dipergunakan sebagai dasar dalam perencanaan jalan.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengklasifikasian ketinggian adalah metode intrpolasi dari hasil overlay peta ruang terbuka dengan citra DEMSRTM.  Dari hasil analisis didapatkan persentase perbandingan hasil klasifikasi ketinggian terhadap kontur adalah 9,359 % dan terhadap topografi adalah 8,139 %, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode interpolasi dapat digunakan dalam pengklasifikasian ketinggian dengan menggunakan peta DEMSRTM.

Abstract

Dewasa ini perkembangan beton sangat pesat, sehingga kriteria mengenai beton juga berubah sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman dan kemajuan tingkat mutu beton yang dapat dicapai. Karena itu banyak sekali bangunan yang menggunakan beton sebagai bahan utamanya, apalagi bangunan tingkat tinggi atau bangunan yang mempunyai bentang lebar akan membutuhkan beton yang mempunyai kekuatan tekan yang tinggi.  Kekuatan tekan beton dipengaruhi oleh kualitas bahan pembentuknya, kepadatan dan rasio air semen, sehingga pengaruh kadar air dalam pembuatan beton mutu tinggi sangat penting. Dengan demikian menggunakan bahan tambah Superplasitcizer yang dapat mengurangi penggunaan air diharapkan meningkatkan kekuatan tekan beton tetapi memudahkan dalam pekerjaannya.Penggunaan bahan tambah mineral ( additive ) untuk mendapatkan beton mutu tinggi saat ini sudah merupakan bahan yang penting. Bahan tambah mineral merupakan bahan tambah yang mengandung pozzollan. Pozzollan adalah bahan tambah yang kandungan utama silika dan alumina . Abu sekam padi yang mempunyai kandungan silika yang tinggi dapat dimasukkan sebagai  pozzollan.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan abu sekam padi sebagai pengganti sebagian semen terhadap kuat tekan dan kuat tarik beton mutu  K – 500 . Dalam penetilian ini persentase pemakaian abu sekam padi sebesar  2,5 % ; 5% ; 7,5 % dan 10 % terhadap semen. Benda uji beton berbentuk kubus berukuran ( 15x15x15 ) cm untuk kuat tekan dan benda uji berbentuk silinder berukuran diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm digunakan untuk uji kuat tarik belah .Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan hasil bahwa kuat tekan dan kuat tarik pada beton yang menggunakan abu sekan padi kekuatannya meningkat bila dibandingkan dengan beton normal ( beton tanpa abu sekam padi ).

Abstract

Suatu lembaga pendidikan yang modern, harus didukung oleh sarana dan fasilitas yang dapat menunjang segala aktivitas yang berlangsung di dalam kampus, termasuk tersedianya sarana jaringan dan penyediaan air bersih yang memadai. Pendistribusian air bersih tentunya juga harus merata baik debit maupun tekanannya, karena itu diperlukan suatu sistem pendistribuaian yang handal sehingga dapat menjamin tersedianya air setiap saat dengan debit dan tekanan yang memadai. Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya mempunyai jaringan distribusi air bersih yang sudah berusia lebih dari 30 tahun, sementara pada saat ini beban pendistribusiannya jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan beban di saat berdirinya kampus politeknik di awal tahun delapanpuluhan. Mengingat jumlah civitas akademika pada saat ini jauh meningkat dibandingkan dengan awal berdirinya politeknik, diperlukan pengkajian ulang tentang beban pendistribusian pada jaringan pipa distribusi air bersih di dalam kampus. Untuk pengkajian beban pendistribusian air bersih tersebut dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui realita pemakaian air bersih serta pola konsumsinya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil empat gedung utama sebagai sample untuk mendapatkan data konsumsi air bersih. Data yang didapatkan diolah dan dianalisis sehingga hasilnya dapat mencerminkan pola konsumsi air bersih di kampus Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya.

Abstract

Method of pavement recycling is an alternative technology in pavement construction and maintenance of roads that allow the use of wastes produced by the old pavement. Therefore, researchers tried using the method of recycling by using old materials and reprocessed by adding a fluxing materials and ingredients added in the form of powder rubber tires. This research aims to restore the value of the power of the old pavement. The beginning stage of this study seek additional level of asphalt most optimal mix of recycling based on the value of maximum stability, obtained the addition of optimum bitumen content is 1%. Then, the addition of tire rubber powder ranging from 10%; 20%; 30%; 40% and 50% by replacing most of the asphalt with rubber powder tire to the addition of the most optimum bitumen content. The highest stability values that are in a mixture of 10% levels of tire rubber powder to the optimum bitumen content is 4657.3 kg, while the value of flow at a level of 10% of tire rubber powder that is 3.32mm. The increasing levels of tire rubber powder in the mix, then the Marshall Quotient value decreases, the value of the highest Quotient marshall is on the addition of tire rubber powder content of 10% of additions optimum bitumen content is 1402.8 kg / mm. Highest Density Values are at the addition of tire rubber powder content of 10% of additions optimum bitumen content of 2.300 gr / cm3. Of all the parameters indicate the presence of tire rubber powder in the mixture can increase the value of the power and flexibility of pavement.

Abstract

Maintenance system for buildings at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya has been running Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) which made by Subag Tata Usaha, but the targets are not optimal, there are still many buildings maintenance actions that have not been in accordance with the purposes of the conditions in the field. The problem is caused by the absence of data base and decision support systems maintenance building alternative that can store, access, update and make decisions properly and correctly, so common maintenance activities that have been done are often not recorded and it is difficult to know the history of data events maintenance in the past, and the consequences, the decision making to determine the alternative maintenance and treatment is often not appropriate.The purpose of this study is to make alternative maintenance decision support system to determine the alternative priority of building maintenance based on “building condition index” and deviation of condition index divided by the cost of maintenance for effective use of budgets and create your simple database model that can be used to help access, preserve and renew building maintenance data. Early step of object in this research is the object of Phase I Building in Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya; there are Gedung Kuliah Sipil, Gedung Laborarorium and Bengkel Sipil, Gedung Kuliah Mesin, Gedung Laboratorium Mesin and Gedung Bengkel Mesin. The weighting system use multi-criteria theory of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the help from  Expert Choice Software.The results stated Door Sub Component has the lowest Condition Index value, it is 91,7%, and on the Room Function, Support Room, the Condition Index value is 95,4%, is the first priority in terms of handling damage, followed by Theory Room and Office / Staff Room. So, the general condition of Gedung Kuliah Sipil Building Phase 1 Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya is good, while the maintenance priorities based on the comparison of Δ Condition Index / required maintenance fee, Sub Component of Doors with comparison value 2,594 x 10-7  is the first priority and based on room function, Library Room is first priority with comparison value 1,647 × 10-8.
