Abstract

 Business analytics plays a crucial role in optimizing telecommunication network performance. This research focuses on using data mining methodologies, specifically the Knowledge Discovery Database (KDD) approach, combined with machine learning algorithms, to predict and enhance 4G signal quality for a mobile operator in Indonesia. The study leverages real-time data from a new site project of an Indonesian telecom operator. Employing SQL ClickHouse for data processing, Python for machine learning, and Tableau for visualization, the research develops a comprehensive data analysis model using hidden Markov models (HMM). The selection of this topic stems from the increasing demand for reliable and high-quality mobile networks, which necessitates advanced analytical techniques to monitor and improve network performance. By implementing HMM, the research aims to provide accurate predictions and actionable insights into signal quality improvements. Preliminary results demonstrate the model's effectiveness in identifying key performance indicators such as accuracy, precision, and recall, as well as trends in network signal quality. The model achieved an accuracy of 93,06%, precision of 96,97%, recall of 95,52%, and F1-score of 96,24%. This study highlights the significant potential of integrating business analytics and machine learning in the telecommunications sector, offering valuable contributions to the industry by improving service quality and operational efficiency.   Keywords—Business Analytics, Network Optimization, Hidden Markov Model, Data Mining, Signal Quality Prediction.

Abstract

Research from research institute in Germany, the projected e-commerce growth in Indonesia is 30.5%. The development of internet users in Indonesia will increase by 1.5 million people in 2023. This shows that more than 50% of Indonesian people use e-commerce. DND Computer is a shop that sells electronic products, especially laptops, PC, computer network equipment, printers, and computer accessories. The sales process is carried out on-site or manually where consumers come directly to the shop. This is the problem raised in this article create an e-commerce website based on a content management system to make it easier for consumers to make purchases online. The research stages used were problem identification, data collection, needs analysis, e-commerce modeling, and implementation of an e-commerce website. After all the data is obtained, prepare a Canva Business Model first to give you an overview of the e-commerce website modeling that will be built. The e-commerce website that is being built will help DND Computer owners in running their business and this website is a form of digital marketing that will bring in lots of customers and make transactions easier.  Keywords : e-commerce, content management system, CMS WordPress website.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges associated with low accuracy and effectiveness in classification models when dealing with complex data. To address these challenges, the study aims to assess and improve the performance of classification models by integrating Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with Decision Tree C4.5 in RapidMiner. The approach involves conducting experiments where PSO is applied to optimize the parameters of Decision Tree C4.5, followed by evaluating the performance of the resulting model. The experimental results show a significant improvement, with model accuracy reaching 99.34%, precision up to 99.65%, recall at 99.30%, and Area Under the Curve (AUC) at 0.997. These findings demonstrate that the combination of PSO and Decision Tree C4.5 can significantly enhance classification effectiveness, making it a viable method for data processing applications requiring high accuracy.   Keywords:Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Decision Tree C4.5, RapidMiner, accuracy, precision, recall.

Abstract

This study identifies issues related to gaps in the performance of Information Technology (IT) governance at BAPENDA Kota Bandar Lampung, which could hinder the achievement of organizational goals and compliance with SPBE regulations. The primary aim of this research is to assess and identify areas needing improvement in IT governance using the COBIT 5 and Balanced Scorecard frameworks. The methodology applied includes measuring maturity levels and analyzing gaps across five main IT domains: Event Management, Incident Management & Request Fulfilment, Problem Management, Service Continuity Management, and Information Security Management. The findings indicate significant gaps with an average GAP of 2.10, highlighting the need for improvements in various aspects of IT governance. This research also provides improvement recommendations based on the Balanced Scorecard, which are expected to help BAPENDA Kota Bandar Lampung enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of IT management to support the overall achievement of organizational goals.   Keywords: Cobit 5, Balanced Scorecard method, SPBE.

Abstract

The water distribution allocation service by PDAM Tirta Musi, KM IV Unit Office, Palembang, has given rise to a new problem where PDAM Tirta Musi, KM IV Unit Office, has difficulty in meeting clean water needs. One of the efforts that PDAM has made to overcome this is by trying to organize water rotation. clean in every area. The solution taken actually gave rise to a new problem, namely that there were several areas that temporarily did not receive a clean water supply, giving rise to demands from the community that clean water must be distributed evenly in every area where the community lives. Based on this problem, it is necessary to design a water demand prediction application whose aim is to help PDAM Tirta Musi KM IV Palembang Unit Office to allocate water distribution to customers so that there is no shortage or waste. This research was conducted using the K-Nearest Neighbor development method. Abstract

In today's digital era, the use of information technology (IT) in public services is a must. One of the implementations is the use of websites in public services. This website is designed to improve information accessibility services to the public (users), making it easier for people to access public services at the Marine and Fisheries Polytechnic of Bitung without having to come to the office. Other benefits that have been felt include more transparent services, the public can see the status of services in real time and help increase campus accountability. In this research, in developing the website, the author used the Waterfall method. The reason for using it is that the stages of work are sequential, interrelated, and easy to develop. After implementing the Waterfall method on the Polytechnic Integrated Online System (PIOnS) website, the results show that it can save time and costs when using public services, accurate, effective, fast, realtime, accountable, and more useful. The next result is that on the PIOnS website there are five types of services, namely Basic Safety Training (BST), Air Blast Freezer (ABF)/Cold Storage, Ship Docking, Ship Machinery Workshop and Training Ship Fleet.

Abstract

The life cycle of animals is a topic considered difficult for students to understand due to the abstract nature of the processes of shape changes and life phases of animals, as well as a lack of conceptual knowledge, making it challenging for students to remember the learning material. Educational games have become a primary focus in improving learning outcomes across various educational levels. By leveraging interactive technology, educational games not only facilitate an enjoyable learning process but also provide opportunities to develop skills and creativity in learning. This educational game is developed using Unity 2021 software. Testing results show that the average SUS score for the GESIWAN (Educational Game on Animal Life Cycles) application is 80.53, which is generally categorized as “Excellent.” It can be concluded that this interactive multimedia educational game is suitable for use as a learning medium in Grade V at SDN 180 Palembang. This research focuses on analyzing the application of usability in improving user satisfaction with the GESIWAN application. Testing was conducted with student respondents using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method. The goal of this research is to produce an interactive multimedia educational game application by analyzing the game’s usability that can be used as a learning medium, using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method.

Abstract

  The pet shop industry is currently undergoing transformation by implementing application technology in its operations. This affects the way pet shop businesses interact with their customers. However, Papa Petshop currently still uses offline sales methods and manual payments. This method is less practical, can be time consuming and carries the risk of errors. To get an application that suits user needs, it is necessary to design an appropriate User Interface/User Experience. This research aims to design the User Interface/User Experience of the My Pet Care application at Papa Petshop using the Design Thinking method to improve service quality and provide a better experience for pet owners. This research starts from the empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test stages. Based on the Application prototype created, Usability Testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) by getting a score of 83 with grade "A" and the "Acceptable" category.  Keywords— Design Thinking, Pet Shop, System Usability Scale (SUS), UI/UX

Abstract

The waters in the Lampung region have significant potential as fishing areas. Fisheries potential in the Lampung region is supported by various factors, including a climate that supports plankton growth and a fertile ecosystem, as well as a variety of habitats that are suitable for various types of fish. In addition, traditional coastal activities such as fishing, boat fishing, and fish farming in ponds are also an important part of the local economy. However, so far fisheries management is still not optimal, it is important to manage fisheries potential optimally and sustainably. This research aims to present a geographic information system modeling regarding weather changes in the Lampung region and its surroundings in order to optimize fishing activities in Lampung waters. Data analysis uses Aqua MODIS data extraction as well as wind data gridding and description. The research results show that the waters in Lampung Province have significant potential regarding the presence of fish based on SST distribution.   Keywords— Geographic information system, weather data, lampung waters, aqua modis

Abstract

Toko Mulia Pancing is a small and medium business that provides a wide selection of goods and tools for fishing. Financial management processes such as recording transactions and processing stock data are still done manually so errors often occur. This website, named "Kasir muliaPancing", aims to overcome this problem by providing a barcode scanning feature, storing sales report data and stock reports. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL database. The results of this research are a website that can only be accessed at two levels, namely admin as owner and user as cashier. On the website there is a menu to store supplier, customer, product, transaction, invoice, and report data. Where each menu has its own function which aims to make it easier for users to make transactions.
