Abstract

This research describes the analysis of Information Technology (IT) service management on the Learning Management System (LMS) of the Information Technology Department at Politeknik Negeri Malang using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 framework, especially in the Service Operation domain. ITIL V3 is a best practice concept in IT service management that is non-proprietary and non-prescriptive. The focus of the research is on the main processes of IT Service Management (ITSM), namely service support and service delivery. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interviews to related parties and observation by distributing questionnaires to students. The results identified several problems in the ITSM process, especially in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Request Fulfillment. The conclusion shows that although the LMS service is good enough, improvements are still needed in event management, incident recovery, and problem handling in order to optimize IT services. Recommendations were developed based on the findings of the problem, including the design of an ITIL infrastructure involving the development of existing processes. It is expected that these recommendations can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services, address challenges in LMS operations, and produce better service quality.  Keywords– Information Technology, LMS, ITIL, service operation, ITSM

Abstract

The indoor air quality is related to the comfort and health of the people inside. The causes of poor air quality or stuffiness can be influenced by three parameters: temperature, humidity, and the levels of carbon dioxide. To detect air quality, an IoT-based system was developed to monitor the status of indoor air quality. The air quality statuses defined in this study include not stuffy, moderately stuffy, stuffy, or very stuffy. The sensors used in this study are DHT11 and MH-Z19B. Testing was conducted in three different rooms: Computer Laboratory A, Computer Laboratory B, and the Workshop Laboratory of the Computer System Engineering program at Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The results of this study include a device that displays information on temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide levels on a 16x2 LCD with LED lights that turn on when parameter values exceed the set thresholds, and a website. The average detected temperature was 27.51°C, humidity was 52.34%, and the average carbon dioxide level was 703.36 PPM. Based on these three parameters, the average detected air quality status was moderately stuffy. The system was able to detect indoor air quality with an overall average system accuracy of 90.31%.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a health problem with a high prevalence rate throughout the world. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in the West Asia Pacific region consists of 20 countries, of which Indonesia is a member. In the world, 536.6 million people have diabetes and 206 million in the West Asia Pacific region. Until 2045, this number will continue to increase to 260 million in the West Asia Pacific Region and as many as 783.7 million diabetes sufferers worldwide. An unhealthy lifestyle causes diabetes, so it is found that people with diabetes no longer come from older people. Machine learning has been widely used to recognize several disease patterns as an initial detection effort. The machine learning accuracy matrix can be improved using a decision tree algorithm by adding improvements to the feature selection process using information gain. This research uses several attributes that are thought to have information on detecting diabetes mellitus. Five features with the highest scores were obtained using the Information Gain method in the feature subset selection process. Next, the Decision Tree classification algorithm is applied to a subset of selected features, and applying the Decision Tree algorithm using information gain increases accuracy by 96.25%. It is hoped that the results of this research can reduce the number of people with diabetes.   Keywords— Detection, Diabetes Mellitus, Feature Selection, Information Gain, Decision Tree

Abstract

A The classification of fruit freshness has significant implications in the food and agriculture industry in Indonesia. Fruit freshness not only affects the quality of the products sold but is also crucial in ensuring consumer safety and reducing food wastage. Non-fresh fruits can become a source of microbial contamination and can cause food poisoning if consumed. Based on these factors, various image processing technologies such as ResNet, DenseNet, MobileNetV2, NASNet, and EfficientNet, CNN, DCNN, etc., have been developed to assist the industry in real-time and efficient classification and detection of fruit freshness. Therefore, this research aims to explore another algorithm, namely YOLOv8, to evaluate the accuracy and precision performance in detecting fruit freshness. In this study, it was found that the YOLOv8 model with 100 epochs and a batch size of 8 yielded a confusion matrix result with an accuracy of 88%. At high confidence levels, the model was able to detect fruit freshness with an average precision of 97%. However, at low confidence levels, the average recall reached 87%. At a balanced confidence level (0.50), the precision and recall F1-Score reached an average of 73%. Evaluation beyond the confidence level showed a precision of 74% and a recall of 75%. These results indicate that the YOLOv8 model has not yet reached an optimal level compared to other algorithms that have an accuracy above 90%. This could possibly be due to the limited number

Abstract

A Hospitals have a high potential as sources for the spread of infectious diseases, including viruses and bacteria. The use of masks by medical staff, patients, and visitors is a crucial measure to minimize the risk of infection. However, manually monitoring mask compliance in hospitals is challenging. With the development of artificial intelligence, automated monitoring systems can be implemented to more efficiently and effectively monitor mask compliance. This study employs YOLOv8 and IP Cameras for mask detection in hospitals. The dataset used consists of 2130 training images, 34 validation images, and 27 test images. The model was trained with parameters of 300 epochs, a batch size of 8, and a patience of 128 to prevent overfitting. Experimental results indicate that the model achieved a precision and recall of 98.3%, with an overall accuracy of 97%. The Precision-Recall and F1-Confidence curves demonstrate that the model is highly effective in detecting mask usage with minimal errors. The confusion matrix indicates that 97% of all mask usage cases were correctly detected, while only 3% were missed. This YOLOv8 and IP Camera-based mask detection system shows great potential for application in hospitals, enhancing mask compliance and aiding in the prevention of disease spread
