Abstract

Abstract

Vidio: Sports, Movies, Series is a popular streaming application in Indonesia with a 3.5 star rating on the Play Store in 2024. Although widely used, a number of user reviews reflect dissatisfaction with some of its features and performance. This research focuses on analyzing user opinions about the Vidio application on the Play Store and evaluating the accuracy of the SVM algorithm in grouping sentiments using the KDD method. KDD is applied to determine the analysis approach from the available data. In the data transformation stage, training and testing data are divided into three ratios: 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30. Words are weighted using the TF-IDF technique. This research tests SVM performance using four kernels: Linear, RBF, Poly, and Sigmoid. The research results show that a 70:30 ratio with the Sigmoid kernel produces the best performance, namely 83.33% accuracy, 86.13% precision, 83.33% recall, and 76.25% F1-score. This model succeeded in achieving an optimal composition between precision and recall, although there was a slight compromise seen in the F1- score.   Keywords— Sentiment Analysis, SVM, Vidio, Play Store

Abstract

Employee performance assessment is a critical step in achieving corporate objectives. However, this process often faces challenges such as a lack of accuracy and objectivity. To address these issues, this study proposes utilizing a machine learning-based classification model using the Decision Tree algorithm. The model is designed to classify employee performance based on four key aspects: productivity, skills, discipline, and work achievements. The research employs a supervised learning method with the Decision Tree algorithm, using employee performance data to build and evaluate the classification model. The objective of this study is to create an accurate, objective, and reliable assessment system that management can use to evaluate and improve human resource performance. The results indicate that the classification model achieves an accuracy level of 80%, demonstrating the model's capability to predict employee performance comprehensively. While this accuracy is considered satisfactory, the findings also suggest room for further development to enhance prediction accuracy and consistency, particularly in complex cases. The implementation of this model offers significant benefits in supporting strategic decision-making by company management and contributes to improving the quality of human resources.   Keywords— Machine Learning, Employee performance,, Decision Tree

Abstract

Network traffic congestion is a major challenge in computer network management, especially in campus environments with a growing number of users and increasing internet access needs. The use of the network for various academic and operational activities often causes congestion, which impacts the quality of service and user performance in accessing information and collaborating online. Issues such as high data volume, network performance instability, inefficient bandwidth allocation, and lack of congestion prediction systems are the main contributing factors. This research aims to predict network congestion using the Random Forest algorithm. The data used was obtained from MikroTik devices and packet analysis using Wireshark, including information about active users, jitter, and bandwidth. The research methods include data collection, preprocessing, model training, and model performance evaluation. The research results show that the Random Forest algorithm is capable of predicting network congestion. This can provide important insights for network managers in taking steps to optimize network performance and reduce congestion. By providing a quantitative data-based approach, this research is expected to be an effective solution for addressing network congestion issues, particularly in complex environments such as campuses.   Keywords: Network congestion, Random Forest, MikroTik, Wireshark, prediction.

Abstract

Communication is a basic human need, including for deaf and hard of hearing people who face difficulties in interacting using verbal language. One of the problems is the lack of optimal technology in supporting communication with Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) in real-time. This research aims to test the ability of MobileNetV2 in classifying the BISINDO alphabet as a technological solution that supports communication for the deaf and hard of hearing in real-time. This research dataset consists of 5200 BISINDO alphabet images (200 images per class) processed with data augmentation. The data is divided into 80% train data, 10% validation data, and 10% test data. Transfer learning was used to train the MobileNetV2 model with initial weights from ImageNet. The model is equipped with Global Average Pooling, Batch Normalization, and Dropout to improve performance. Training used Adam's optimizer with a learning rate of 1e-4. Evaluation resulted in validation accuracy of 95% and testing accuracy of 93.85%. The model is converted to TensorFlow Lite for use in Android applications, so that BISINDO alphabet classification can be done in real-time through the camera. This application is expected to be a solution for people who face difficulties in communicating with the deaf and speech impaired.   Keywords— Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), MobileNetV2, Sign Language

Abstract

Al-Quran merupakan kitab suci yang terdiri dari 30 juz, 114 surah, 6326 ayat, dan lebih kurang 80 ribu kata Arab yang menjadi pedoman hidup bagi umat manusia. Banyaknya data dalam Al-Qur’an menjadikan tafsir sebagai pintu utama bagi umat Muslim untuk memahami isi dan makna dari ayat-ayatnya. Tentu dengan ribuan kata Arab di Al-Qur’an dan penjelasan dari tafsir membuat pencarian dan pemahaman yang lebih lama, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang mampu memproses dan memahami data yang banyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem yang mampu memahami dan memproses banyak data, dengan bantuan dari teknologi seperti Artificial Intelligence (AI), LangChain dan Large Language Model untuk mampu melakukan tanya jawab dalam bahasa alami. Sistem ini diuji menggunakan 2 jenis pengujian, yakni pengujian oleh user dan pengujian oleh framework DeepEval dan BertScore. Hasil dari pengujian User Acceptance Testing (UAT) berupa skor akurasi sebesar 90.28%. Dilakukan juga pengujian oleh framework DeepEval berupa hallucination dengan score sebesar 15.00%, precision sebesar 78.30% dan answer relevancy sebesar 97.20%. Selain itu terdapat pengujian menggunakan BertScore berupa score precision sebesar 75.59%, recall sebesar 62.12% dan F1 Score 72.15%.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the planning of Public Street Lighting (PJU) using the fuzzy logic method according to the SNI 7391:2008 standard, which stipulates the technical requirements for street lighting to ensure the safety and comfort of users. The existing design of PJU is known to be less than optimal in terms of energy efficiency and cost, with an excessive number of lamps and ineffective arrangements. The fuzzy logic model is designed to overcome this problem, with input parameters including road length, road width, and lamp power, while the output includes the distance between lamp poles, the height of the lamp pole, and the number of lamps required. This model is developed and simulated using MATLAB with a zigzag lamp installation approach on the right and left sides of the road. The simulation results show that this method produces a more optimal design, meets the SNI 7391:2008 standard, while offering a more efficient and effective solution than the existing design. By reducing the number of lamps from 46 to 21 units, power consumption and investment costs have been optimized without sacrificing lighting quality. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of a smart technology-based street lighting system, which not only meets technical standards but also supports sustainability and operational efficiency.   Keywords— Fuzzy Logic, MATLAB, Public Street Lighting, PJU Planning, SNI 7391:2008

Abstract

The implementation of effective information technology (IT) internal control is essential in ensuring optimal IT governance and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of IT internal control based on the COBIT 2019 framework. The research methods used were surveys, in-depth interviews, and document analysis in a company that has implemented COBIT 2019 for three years. The results showed that the effectiveness of IT internal control was measured through the five main domains of COBIT 2019, with an average score above 4, indicating effective implementation. The Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess domain recorded the highest score (4.4), reflecting the company's success in continuous monitoring and evaluation. In addition, the implementation of this framework has succeeded in reducing IT security incidents by 50% in the last three years. However, the Build, Acquire, and Implement domain had the lowest score (4.0), indicating the need for improvement in project management and new technology acquisition. This study confirms that the COBIT 2019 framework is an effective tool for improving IT internal control. Recommendations for strengthening implementation include increased training, periodic evaluations, and adoption of new technologies to support the sustainability of IT governance.   Keywords—IT internal control, COBIT 2019, IT governance, effectiveness, risk assessment

Abstract

The advancement of technology in information and communication has enabled innovative multimedia applications in education. This research examines the use of Plotagon to develop 3D animations that illustrate the student registration process at SMKN 1 Buay Madang. It aims to provide accessible and engaging guidance for prospective students and parents, using a simple three-stage development process: pre-production, production, and post-production.The results reveal that 3D animations effectively enhance understanding and communication of the registration process. Feedback shows 85% of respondents found the guidance helpful, and 90% appreciated its engaging format. Abstract

This study contributes to the development of multimedia-based teaching aids for mathematics education in kindergaeten. However, challenges arise with the discontinuation of support for Adobe Flash in 2020, which affects the accessibility of the application on modern devices. This study aims to design and develop an interactive multimedia teaching aid application for kindergarten children using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model. This application focuses on teachimg numbers, counting, and spatial structures through educational and interactive methods, development with Adobe Flash CS6. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature studies to analyze the impact of media use on student motivation and understanding. The results of the study show that application is effective in increasing student learning motivation and facilitating understanding of basic mathematics material.  Keywords: Learning Media, Adobe Flash CS6, MDLC, Mathematics.
