This research is conducted to find the contents of information in the form of infographics on the official LINE account of KEMKOMINFO and to find whether the infographics made have fulfilled its function as a means of information repackaging. In general, researchers conduct research on academic implications and the object of the research is academics, but this research is different, the object of this research is official LINE account of KEMKOMINFO which is a government institution. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with content analysis techniques without using respondents or informants as research objects. Content analysis for infographics on the official LINE KEMKOMINFO account was carried out for 6 months in October 2019 to March 2020. There are 9 information displays on the official LINE account of KEMKOMINFO: (1) latest news on the most popular issues in Indonesia; (2) information on specific themes; (3) information regarding the results of the activity conducted by government institutions; (4) information regarding KEMKOMINFO's clarification of news and issues circulating in public; (5) congratulory message at certain moments; (6) quiz about knowledge related to Indonesia; (7) information regarding procedures in the management of government-related matters; (8) the game of finding words based on clues; (9) word equivalents or translate. Abstract

Personalized information service is an information service delivered by digital libraries so that users can only get information according to their needs online. This article is a conceptual study that examines the role of mobile devices as technology to support personalized information services from the aspects of user data collection and service delivery. Data obtained through literature review of scientific articles that have relevance to the main concept. The results showed that mobile devices have a role in sending data and accessing library services efficiently. As a two-way communication medium, mobile devices can send various forms of feedback to the library which eventually become data for further analysis. As for service access, mobile devices can support mobile applications so that there are several traditional services that can be accessed online anywhere and anytime. Not only data in the form of text, technological developments have been able to analyze data in other types, one of which is in the form of voice. The development of technology in the 4.0 industrial revolution has also become an aspect that encourages efficiency because it can bring about automation in the aspects of data collection and access to library services.

Abstract

Infographic potential in bridging complex data, such as research results, has the opportunity to be used to better educate and further to empower the community, especially for issues that still have not received much attention in the community, such as functional food issues. The lack of attention is due to limited access and way to deliver functional food research results so that it is difficult to be accessed and understood by the community. This is because most of the delivery of research results is still in the form of reports, journals, or books that are less interesting, both in terms of language and appearance. In terms of appearance, infographics can be used to support the effectiveness of information delivery and the process of better understanding of the community. This study discusses infographic strength and its role in functional food books compared to simple graphical data visualization using the power of visual infographic theory in attracting attention, understanding, and sticking memories into the reader's mind. The results of the study are in the form of infographic potential in accelerating information education and opening up opportunities for effectiveness in decreasing human attention span.

Abstract

This article was written to deliver the idea of the need for digital literacy competencies for archival graduate students in an era of disruption to meet the needs of users and professional development so that in the end the success of digital literacy becomes a new benchmark for soft skills competencies for archiving program graduates. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using the FGD method for collecting data from informants, namely users and graduates of the archiving program itself. The results show that graduates of archives have not been able to meet the needs of soft skill competencies according to user demands, especially regarding the use of digital technology in supporting the implementation of tasks and jobs. It is suggested that college can facilitate the efforts to increase digital literacy competence through learning methods, in addition to students also trying to improve their experience in the use of digital technology.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of Academic libraries in supporting the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4. The research method employed was qualitative method using semi-structured interviews for data collection. The collected data then analyzed using Thematic Analysis, a qualitative data analysis for identifying pattern throughout the data. Two themes were emerged, that are Programs and Challenges. The Programs is a theme that explains the role the libraries to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4. It explains the providing access to information for users, the library cooperation programs with other parties who also take part in supporting the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4, and the training programs to develop human resources. The second, Challenges illustrate the activities or the policies in libraries which can hamper the libraries to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4. This research benefit university libraries in providing insights about how to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4.

Abstract

In this data article, we present scientific data on the diversity of freshwater fish fauna in the waters of the Galunggung Mountain area. The Galunggung area serves as a potential habitat for freshwater fish due to the presence of many rivers and streams. Fish sampling was based on catch per unit effort (CPUE), mainly using electrofishing, gill nets, and hand nets. A total of 24 species were recorded during the survey. Seven fish species, namely Amphilophus alfari, Amphilophus citrinellus, Andinoacara pulcher, Andinoacara rivulatus, Cichlasoma spilurus, Cichlasoma uropthalmum, and Poecilia reticulata, are included in this dataset. Additionally, data from 10 research station locations and the Galunggung crater lake, which is the highest research location, are also included in this dataset. The data in this article can be found in the National Scientific Repository, covering the research locations, the fish species discovered, and several documented fish specimen photos. Regarding its potential utilization, this data can be used as a basis for policy formulation in the fisheries sector and when conducting a review of the fish fauna in the Galunggung Mountain area.

Abstract

Sumatra Island, with its tropical climate, provides an ideal habitat for orchid diversity. However, the rich diversity and potential of these orchids are increasingly threatened by high deforestation rates across Indonesia, leading to risks of reduction and even extinction. To address this, conservation activities are underway at the Samosir Botanic Garden. This study aimed to inventory the orchid diversity on Samosir Island. Collected orchids are being conserved as a living collection both ex situ at the Bogor Botanic Garden and in situ at the Samosir Botanic Garden. An exploratory method was used, resulting in a collection of 80 orchid specimens, representing 35 genera, 80 species, and 313 individual samples. These orchids were found at altitudes ranging from 989 to 1,799 meters above sea level and included 60 epiphytic species, 1 lithophytic species, and 19 terrestrial species. A total of 23 orchid species were identified during the exploration, and data on these species are stored in the National Scientific Repository (RIN). This repository provides a valuable resource for further research on the orchid species richness in Samosir Regency.
