Unaizah, renowned for its dates farming and traditional coffee cultures, holds a prominent position in global agriculture. This article delves into the historical context, economic implications, societal dynamics, and ecological sustainability intertwined with Unaizah's coffee culture and dates farming. The findings unequivocally demonstrate the pivotal role of these practices in preserving local wisdom and cultural heritage, underscoring the importance of understanding and honoring Unaizah's distinctive traditions in an ever-changing world.

Abstract

This research explores a comprehensive analysis of the challenges faced by class VII students at SMPN 242 Jakarta in mastering English lessons. Using a phenomenological approach with a qualitative descriptive methodology, this research has two objectives: (1) identifying various categories of learning difficulties faced by Class VII students at SMPN 242 Jakarta in English lessons, and (2) the underlying causes of factors contributing to learning difficulties This. This research consisted of Class VII E students, with data collection carried out through interviews and documentation. The data analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing data conclusions. The research results are as follows: (1) Various categories of learning difficulties were observed in Class VII students studying English at SMPN 242 Jakarta. These categories include Learning Disorders, characterized by reduced self-confidence; Learning Disabilities, includes individuals who face challenges in understanding learning material. This research also reveals a diverse spectrum of internal and external factors that contribute to students' learning difficulties. Internally, low interest in learning is one of the key factors, which is caused by the complexity of the subject matter and students' lack of understanding. This research highlights the variety of learning difficulties experienced by class VII students at SMPN 242 Jakarta and underscores the important role of internal and external factors in shaping the learning landscape.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the strategies used by English teachers in Class Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Belitang II Vocational School Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. This research investigates the strategies teachers use in their teaching activities. This is caused by the use of old and traditional strategies that teachers usually apply in their daily activities. A qualitative approach was used in this research. The sample for this research was two English teachers. This research uses two data collection techniques: classroom observation and interviews. The findings show that the strategies used by teacher 1 to teach reading comprehension are Identifying the purpose of reading, reading aloud, Skimming, Scanning, Taking Notes, Highlighting, getting the main idea, Translating, Repeating, Analyzing Vocabulary and Summarizing. Meanwhile, the strategy used by teacher 2 is also similar to teacher 1, the difference lies in silent reading. Then the research question concerns students' responses to the strategies used by the teacher. The findings were that students responded positively to the English teacher's strategies even though they had several obstacles. Students participate in discussions and answer questions. Because the teacher points to the students one by one.

Abstract

Harmony and tolerance are valuable resources for building a country with strong defense. In some cases, social conflict is something that is difficult to avoid. The study of interfaith guidance and counseling has the basic assumption of building sustainable harmony as a preventive effort in reducing conflicts that occur in social life. In essence, someone who knows religion will have high moral values ​​within themselves. This is the basis for building social ethics and tolerance. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature approach using description techniques and data collection from various reference books, journals and previous research articles which provide an overview of the concept of tolerance in interfaith counseling. The results to be achieved in this research are a description of the urgency of moral values ​​and religiosity in building an attitude of tolerance which is studied from an interfaith counseling perspective.

Abstract

Kinerja staf di destinasi wisata memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk persepsi wisatawan terhadap pengalaman mereka. Staf ticketing sebagai staf pertama yang ditemui oleh wisatawan, memiliki dampak signifikan dalam memberikan kesan awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi wisatawan terhadap kinerja staf ticketing di Lembang Park & Zoo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung terhadap wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Lembang Park & Zoo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas wisatawan merasa puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh staf ticketing di Lembang Park & Zoo. Kinerja staf ticketing telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap persepsi wisatawan. Persepsi positif terhadap kinerja staf ticketing di Lembang Park & Zoo menunjukkan pentingnya peran staf pertama dalam membentuk pengalaman wisatawan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan staf ticketing. Hal tersebut dilakukan demi memastikan pengalaman wisatawan yang lebih baik di destinasi Lembang Park & Zoo.

Abstract

This research aims to determine critical thinking skills at the elementary school level, especially in the implementation of the "Kurikulum Merdeka” based on a literature review. This research is a literature review which is part of qualitative research. The collection of sources was obtained from literature, both books and articles and other sources that support this research. Based on the findings from the literature review, students' critical thinking abilities at elementary school level are determined by several factors, such as, learning motivation, intellectual development, learning independence, models, strategies and learning media used by teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain observation data on how the Kurikulum Merdeka is implemented in the Social Sciences subject in history material in Junior High Schools. The research method used in this research is qualitative. To achieve this goal, researchers used data collection techniques through literature review. The data obtained from the research results were processed using qualitative analysis to determine the implementation of the “Kurikulum Merdeka” in social studies learning. Based on the research, it can be concluded that social studies learning activities in the “Kurikulum Merdeka” policy carried out by teachers have gone through three stages, namely: preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The third activity steps such as preliminary, core and closing learning have been fully implemented by the teacher, although at each learning step there are still activities that have not been implemented optimally. From the research results it is known that curriculum implementation is influenced by four variables, namely: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial literacy of the community receiving family hope assistance (PKH) in Kediri Induk Village, West Lombok Regency, NTB, Financial literacy in this study is seen from a person's knowledge of the value of an item and the priority scale in his life, budgeting, savings, how to manage finances, credit management, and the basics of investment. The beneficiaries are poor people with uncertain incomes so they have to manage their finances well to achieve prosperity and not only rely on assistance from the government.This research uses qualitative methods - descriptive research data in the form of data from the community receiving aid, interview results, notes from interviews and documentation in the form of photos when the research was carried out. Data analysis in this research (qualitative) starts from data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that financial literacy in the people of Kediri Main village, West Lombok Regency was owned by seven respondents, three of whom were able to manage their finances well.

Abstract

GMIM Sion Tomohon merupakan gereja protestan yang sangat bersejarah bagi masyarakat kota Tomohon, karena gereja ini merupakan pusat dari perkembangan Kekristenan mula-mula masyarakat Tomohon bahkan Sulawesi Utara ditandai dengan rentetan peristiwa bersejarah yang terjadi di dalam gereja ini seperti tempat pertama kali dideklarasikan sinode GMIM hingga kedatangan presiden Soekarno dalam hal sidang sinode GMIM dan sekaligus masa gejolak PERMESTA di tanah Minahasa. Namun sayangnya informasi tersebut belum sampai ke masyarakat kota Tomohon karena segala keterbatasan media informasi yang dimiliki GMIM Sion Tomohon. Maka dilakukan perancangan media informasi dalam bentuk film dokumenter genre sejarah untuk menjembatani informasi sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon kepada masyarakat kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan strategi linier dalam proses perancangannya. Hasil dari film dokumenter sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon mampu menjadi media informasi yang menarik dalam visualisasi pentingnya sejarah GMIM Sion Tomohon bagi masyarakat kota Tomohon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Demonstrasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Motoling Barat yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 menunjukan bahwa siswa yang tuntas hanya berjumlah 4 siswa atau 33.33% sedangkan yang belum tuntas berjumlah 8 siswa atau 66.67%. Dan pada siklus 2 menunjukan bahwa siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 10 siswa atau 83.33% dan siswa yang belum tuntas adalah 2 siswa atau 16.67%. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan metode Demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terutama pada materi sistem pencernaan makanan pada manusia.
