Abstract

This study aims to improve Islamic education learning in Islamic religious education learning by using problem based learning model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data of this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that problem based learning model can improve Islamic education learning in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 49.71%, the first cycle 68.39% and in the second cycle increased to 90.16%. Thus, the use of problem based learning model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were senior high school students. The data of this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that video can improve Islamic education learning in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 50.71%, the first cycle 67.39% and in the second cycle increased to 80.16%. Thus, the use of video can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the question and answer method can improve students' critical thinking skills and tolerance attitudes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. Thus, the use of the question and answer method can be used as an alternative to improve students' critical thinking skills and tolerance attitudes in Islamic religious education learning.

The results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model can improve Islamic education learning in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 45.78%, the first cycle 49.40% and in the second cycle it increased to 79.18%. Thus, the use of videos can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning using Problem Based Learning. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure the improvement of student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Learning using Problem Based Learning Learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of improving student learning outcomes in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 46.56%, the first cycle 67.47% and in the second cycle increased to 90.57%. Thus, the use of Problem Based Learning Learning can be used as an alternative to increase student activity in Islamic education learning in Islamic education learning.
