Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, contributing to increased income and well-being. This study aims to analyze the performance of MSME financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia over the past decade, as well as the economic and financial factors influencing non-performing financing. This study uses a trend analysis of NPF (Non-Performing Financing) through visual graphs, descriptive statistics, and breakpoint analysis. Furthermore, linear regression analysis is used to examine the effects of inflation, interest rates, GDP, and exchange rates on NPF. The results show that MSME NPF at Islamic banks has improved, and GDP significantly influences NPF, where a 1% increase in GDP is followed by a 0.89% decrease in NPF. Meanwhile, inflation and interest rates do not directly affect NPF, although interest rates can influence GDP and the ability of MSMEs to meet funding obligations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of selling goods on online applications with a focus on potential violations of sharia economic principles. The growing number of online buying and selling transactions has resulted in various challenges in the implementation of sharia principles, especially related to the prohibition of gharar (uncertainty), riba (interest), and tadlis (fraud). This study uses an approach with a literature study method and interviews with online business actors to identify the forms of violations that occur and their mitigation efforts. The results of the study show that although many e-commerce platforms have attempted to implement the principles of fairness, openness, and halal products, there are still practices that have the potential to violate such as the dissemination of non-transparent information, fake product assessments, and the use of payment systems that contain elements of usury such as paylater. This study emphasizes the importance of increasing awareness of business actors and consumers regarding sharia economic principles and strengthening regulations so that online buying and selling practices can run in accordance with sharia values, creating a fair, transparent, and blessed e-commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) has brought various innovations in payment systems, including the PayLater service that allows consumers to make purchases with deferred payments. Shopee PayLater, as one of the contemporary fintech products, has become a phenomenon in Indonesian consumer behavior. This study aims to analyze the practice of Shopee PayLater from the perspective of Islamic economic law using qualitative methods. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques through literature studies and normative-juridical studies of Islamic economic principles. The results of the study based on the literature review indicate that the practice of PayLater contains elements that potentially conflict with Islamic principles, particularly related to the concepts of usury and gharar, and can encourage excessive consumptive behavior that is detrimental to Muslim consumers. This study recommends the need to develop a Sharia fintech model that is more in line with Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of accounting in the Coffee Shop "Sobat Kopi" in Cibitung District. The results of the study show that even though this Coffee Shop has applied basic accounting principles by recording daily transactions using the Qashir application, the financial statements prepared are still not in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Coffe Shop "Sobat Kopi" only compiles profit and loss statements based on the recording of the application and does not have complete financial reports. The main problem faced is the lack of knowledge of business owners about the importance of preparing financial statements in accordance with standards and business management carried out independently by the owner. This study highlights the need to improve business owners' understanding of accounting in order to prepare more complete financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
