Abstract

E-recruitment plays a crucial role in companies by enhancing the recruitment process and improving employee performance. Proper recruitment through e-recruitment systems enables organizations to acquire optimal human resources (HR). By sorting and selecting candidates based on specific criteria such as education, experience, or skills, e-recruitment allows companies to adapt quickly to their needs and ensure that new hires possess the required qualifications. This study investigates the impact of e-recruitment on employee performance using SMART-PLS version 3 for data analysis. The sampling method employed was disproportionate stratified random sampling, with 100 respondents participating in the research. Despite its potential, the findings revealed that e-recruitment does not significantly influence employee performance, as indicated by a P-value of 0.228 and a path coefficient of 0.086. The study highlights the importance of aligning recruitment strategies with broader performance objectives while considering other factors that might contribute to employee performance. Although e-recruitment facilitates efficiency in candidate selection, its direct impact on performance requires further exploration, particularly in identifying mediating factors that could strengthen this relationship. These findings provide valuable insights for organizations to refine their recruitment processes, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach that integrates e-recruitment with other performance-enhancing initiatives. Future research could explore the interaction between e-recruitment and factors such as training, motivation, or organizational culture to determine their combined effects on performance outcomes. Thus, while e-recruitment optimizes candidate selection, its role in driving performance may depend on broader organizational practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Adversity Quotient, Self-Efficacy, Learning Achievement, and Industrial Work Practice on the work readiness of grade XII students of SMK N 2 Semarang. The population of this study was 422 students from 12 classes and 6 majors, with a sample of 81 students taken using random sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables, both partially and simultaneously. The results showed that Adversity Quotient had a positive effect on students' work readiness with a significant value of 0.040 <0.05, Self-Efficacy had a positive effect with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, Learning Achievement had a positive effect with a significant value of 0.007 <0.05, and Industrial Work Practice also had a positive effect with a significance value of 0.008 <0.05. Overall, the results of the F test showed that these four variables had a positive effect together on students' work readiness with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. These findings indicate that the ability to face challenges, self-confidence, good academic achievement, and practical experience through industrial work practices together play an important role in improving students' work readiness. Therefore, the development of these four aspects is very important in preparing students to face the world of work.

Abstract

Unemployment remains a persistent challenge for many developing countries, including Indonesia, and addressing it requires innovative approaches. One potential solution is fostering entrepreneurship, which can enhance creativity and provide individuals with opportunities to develop and implement their ideas. Entrepreneurship not only supports personal economic independence but also contributes to broader economic growth. This study focuses on analyzing the factors that influence entrepreneurial interest among university students, particularly at Universitas PGRI Semarang. Specifically, it examines the impact of entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial motivation, income expectations, and the role of social media on students' entrepreneurial interest. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis and involves a sample of 100 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 25 for hypothesis testing. The results reveal that entrepreneurial knowledge (X1) and entrepreneurial motivation (X2) do not significantly influence students’ entrepreneurial interest (Y). However, income expectations (X3) and the role of social media demonstrate a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial interest. These findings highlight the importance of external factors, such as financial incentives and technological tools, in shaping students’ inclination toward entrepreneurship. Social media, in particular, plays a crucial role as a platform for marketing, networking, and idea generation, emphasizing its relevance in contemporary entrepreneurial ecosystems. This study underscores the need for educational institutions to integrate practical entrepreneurial strategies and digital literacy into their curricula to better prepare students for entrepreneurial ventures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the resilience of secondhand goods traders in "Gang Rendah" and investigate how this market has sustained its existence despite the proliferation of online shops in the era of modernization and globalization. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The theoretical framework used is Pierre Bourdieu's theory of social practice, encompassing the concepts of habitus, field, and capital. The findings reveal that this secondhand goods trading activity has existed for decades. "Gang Rendah," located in front of Chinese ethnic-owned shops, serves as a marketplace where traders display their goods on mats or tarpaulins. Transactions occur as buyers and sellers interact while squatting or sitting on the pavement. Based on primary data collected through questionnaires and direct interviews with traders, several reasons were identified for the enduring demand for secondhand goods: 1) affordable prices, 2) usability of the items, 3) suitability for consumer needs, 4) enjoyable interactions, 5) interethnic integration, and 6) historical value. The study also highlights that "Gang Rendah" has been operational since the Dutch colonial era. Despite being a secondhand market, the goods offered are of relatively good quality. Traders typically open their stalls from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. This market demonstrates how a traditional trading system persists in providing economic opportunities and fostering social cohesion amidst modern commercial trends.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of graduate attraction, academic service quality, and school image on the decision to enroll as a new student at SMK HKTI Temanggung. This research utilizes a quantitative approach, with primary data collected from the students of SMK HKTI Temanggung. The sample consists of 74 respondents, selected using the Probability Sampling technique. A Likert scale was used to measure the variables, and the data was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25 through multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test indicate that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.375, or 37.5%. This suggests that the decision to enroll as a new student is influenced by the variables of graduate attraction, academic service quality, and school image. The remaining 62.5% of the decision is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The findings highlight the importance of graduate attraction, the quality of academic services, and the image of the school in shaping prospective students' decisions to enroll. The results of this study offer valuable insights for the management of SMK HKTI Temanggung, emphasizing the need to enhance the factors that influence students' decisions, such as improving the quality of academic services and promoting a positive school image. These findings can guide the school in formulating strategies to attract more prospective students and improve its overall competitiveness in the education sector.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed various aspects of life, particularly in the economic sector. The banking industry, including Islamic banks, has adapted to technological progress by introducing innovations to enhance operational efficiency. Information and communication technology play a crucial role in maintaining banking operations, enabling the development of digital banking services such as mobile banking applications and web-based banking platforms. Digitalization has significantly reshaped financial transactions, providing customers with greater convenience while simultaneously exposing them to new risks. The increasing use of mobile banking is accompanied by a rise in potential security threats due to the accessibility of digital financial services. This study aims to analyze the risks associated with mobile banking usage and the strategies employed by Islamic banks to mitigate these risks. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the challenges posed by mobile banking, particularly in the context of Islamic banking, and examines the measures implemented to ensure secure and efficient financial transactions. The findings indicate that risks such as data breaches, cyber fraud, and unauthorized access are among the primary concerns in mobile banking. To address these issues, Islamic banks implement various security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and continuous system monitoring. Furthermore, compliance with Shariah principles is integrated into digital banking security frameworks to ensure ethical financial practices. The study concludes that while mobile banking offers numerous benefits, addressing security risks is essential to maintaining customer trust and safeguarding financial stability in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), employment absorption, and domestic investment. However, MSMEs in Grobogan Regency face declining revenues due to limited managerial capabilities. Managerial skills, including planning, organizing, data-driven decision-making, and supervision, are critical for addressing operational and market challenges. This study aims to optimize MSME managerial capabilities in marketing and financial management to improve business performance. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, library research, and observations of MSME actors in Grobogan Regency. The findings indicate that inadequate financial management and the lack of technology-based marketing strategies are major barriers for MSMEs. Practical solutions include financial management training, risk management, digital marketing strategies, and technology adoption. Government support is also crucial in providing training programs, online marketing platforms, and funding schemes. Strengthening managerial competencies is expected to enhance MSME competitiveness and sustainability in Grobogan. This study provides practical recommendations to reinforce MSME existence and contribute to sustainable local economic growth.

Abstract

Islamic banks operate based on Sharia principles, emphasizing justice, transparency, and the prohibition of riba. These principles provide a positive impact in supporting the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. One of the key financing schemes offered by Islamic banks is murabahah, which plays a crucial role in MSME empowerment. This study aims to analyze the role and impact of murabahah financing by Islamic banks on MSME development. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to assess how this financing scheme contributes to MSME growth. The findings indicate that Islamic banks significantly enhance MSME performance, as evidenced by increased revenue, workforce expansion, and higher value-added production. The results highlight the effectiveness of murabahah financing in fostering MSME sustainability, promoting economic inclusion, and supporting financial stability. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical insights into the relationship between Islamic banking and MSME development. Furthermore, it underscores the importance of Sharia-compliant financial instruments in addressing the financial needs of MSMEs while adhering to ethical and religious principles. The study’s findings can serve as a reference for policymakers and financial institutions in designing more effective Sharia-based financing models to enhance MSME resilience and competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology and financial technology (fintech) has driven the implementation of the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) as a digital payment method. This study aims to analyze the impact of QRIS on the transaction volume of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pati Regency, identify the factors influencing QRIS adoption, and evaluate its contribution to MSME economic growth. A literature review method is employed to examine the effects of QRIS implementation on MSMEs in Pati. Secondary data is collected from various sources, including academic journals, books, research reports, and official publications from relevant institutions. The study applies a qualitative descriptive analysis to interpret the findings. The results indicate that QRIS has a positive and significant impact on the transaction volume of MSMEs in Pati Regency. Furthermore, several factors, such as digital literacy, infrastructure readiness, and customer preference, influence the adoption rate of QRIS among MSMEs. This study recommends that MSMEs enhance their utilization of QRIS to improve financial transactions, while relevant stakeholders should actively promote QRIS adoption through education, training, and incentive programs. Additionally, government policies supporting digital payment systems are essential to fostering MSME growth. Further research is required to explore the broader implications of QRIS adoption, particularly its effects on financial inclusion, business sustainability, and economic resilience within the MSME sector.

Abstract

This article examines the challenges and opportunities faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City in utilizing digital technology for business development. Digital technology, such as social media marketing and e-commerce, presents significant opportunities to expand market reach and enhance operational efficiency. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, limited financial resources, and inadequate infrastructure remain major obstacles. This study employs a literature review method to gain a deeper understanding of these issues. The findings indicate that digital literacy training, access to technology, and consistent policy support are crucial in empowering MSMEs in the digitalization era. By improving digital competence and providing financial and technological support, MSMEs can optimize digital tools to enhance competitiveness and business sustainability. Furthermore, government policies play a vital role in facilitating digital adoption through regulatory frameworks, incentives, and infrastructure development. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration between various stakeholders, including the government, financial institutions, and private sector actors, to create a conducive ecosystem for MSME growth. This study contributes to the existing literature by highlighting the key factors influencing digital adoption among MSMEs and providing insights for policymakers in formulating strategies to support digital transformation. Future research should explore empirical case studies to assess the effectiveness of digitalization programs and identify best practices for MSME development. These efforts are essential to ensuring that MSMEs can fully leverage digital technology, thereby fostering economic resilience and sustainable growth in the digital economy.
