Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemajuan teknologi di bidang pendidikan yang menyebabkan media pembelajaran semakin beragam dan inovatif, namun hal tersebut berlawanan dengan realita di lapangan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan med ia pembelajaran komik strip berbasis platform Carrd.co menggunaakan aplikasi IbisPaint serta mengetahui efektifitasnya dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penlitian ini ialah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (RnD) dengan model ADDIE. Dimulai dari tahapan analisis, perancangan media, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluas. Hasil evaluasi penggunaan media pembelajaran komik strip yang telah dikembangkan menunjukan media tersebut layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komik strip bertema perubahan kondisi alam layak digunakan di kelas V, dengan skor pre-test 64,1% dan skor post-test 79,4%. Hal tersebut juga menunjukkan bahwa komik strip ini efektif meningkatkan literasi siswa yakni dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil uji-T menunjukkan peningkatan literasi yang signifikan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.  Berdasarkan seberapa efektif komik strip yang telah dikembangkan, diharapkan guru dan pihak sekolah dapat menggunakan media tersebut dalam pembelajaran IPAS dengan memadukan berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran dan melakukan berbagai inovasi untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih beragam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA akibat penggunaan media konvensional yang monoton. Untuk mengatasinya, dipilih media video pembelajaran animasi karena mampu memadukan unsur visual, auditori, dan gerak sehingga konsep abstrak IPA dapat disajikan lebih konkret dan menarik. Dibandingkan media lain seperti teks atau gambar statis, animasi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, pemahaman konsep, serta menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas III. Mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media video pembelajaran animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas III. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar Tulungagung dengan sampel kelas III yang berjumlah 21 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : Nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media video pembelajaran animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil analisis N-Gain sebesar 0,5370 yang menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of transformational school leadership in promoting project-based learning to enhance literacy and numeracy in an elementary school context. A qualitative case study was conducted at SDN Ngubalan 01 Kalidawir, Tulungagung, Indonesia, involving one principal and six teachers selected purposively. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that the principal enacted transformational leadership through vision building, mentoring, and continuous instructional support, which encouraged teachers to implement project-based learning. Classroom practices integrated reading, writing, and numerical problem-solving within contextual activities, leading to increased student engagement and participation. Students demonstrated improved reading comprehension, structured writing, and accuracy in basic arithmetic tasks. The alignment between leadership practices and instructional innovation contributed to meaningful learning experiences and strengthened foundational skills. The study concludes that sustained leadership involvement is essential for ensuring the effectiveness of project-based learning in improving literacy and numeracy outcomes in elementary education.

Abstract

This study examines how visionary leadership supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum to foster student character and learning autonomy in elementary education. The research was conducted at MI Mambaul Hikam Ngubalan Kalidawir using a qualitative case study design involving one principal and six teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic procedures. The findings show that the principal enacted visionary leadership through clear direction, consistent communication, and instructional support that guided teachers in applying student-centered learning. Teachers implemented the curriculum through contextual and flexible activities that integrated character values and promoted independent learning. Students demonstrated increased responsibility, confidence, and active participation, along with improved ability to regulate their learning processes. The alignment between leadership vision and instructional practices created a coherent learning environment that strengthened both character formation and autonomy. The study concludes that visionary leadership is essential in sustaining curriculum reform and enhancing student development in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study investigates how digital leadership of school principals optimizes the use of mobile learning applications to improve literacy in elementary education. The research employed a qualitative case study design conducted at MI GUPPI Tasikmadu Watulimo Trenggalek, involving one principal and six teachers selected purposively. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and documentation analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the principal enacted digital leadership through clear vision, structured resource management, and continuous professional support that guided teachers in integrating mobile learning into literacy instruction. Teachers implemented interactive and contextual learning activities using mobile applications for reading, writing, and comprehension tasks. Students demonstrated increased engagement, improved reading comprehension, and stronger writing performance, along with greater motivation in learning activities. The alignment between leadership practices and instructional implementation created a consistent and supportive learning environment. The study concludes that digital leadership significantly contributes to the effectiveness of mobile learning applications in enhancing literacy outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines how academic leadership influences the effectiveness of digital formative assessment in improving student learning outcomes in elementary education. The research was conducted at SDN Salakkembang Tulungagung using a qualitative case study design involving one principal and six teachers selected purposively. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that academic leadership was enacted through instructional supervision, mentoring, and continuous professional development that strengthened teachers’ capacity in designing and implementing digital formative assessment. Teachers integrated digital tools into daily instruction through interactive quizzes, real-time feedback, and data-informed learning activities. Students demonstrated improved conceptual understanding, increased engagement, and stronger motivation during learning processes. They were able to identify errors, revise their work, and participate actively in assessment activities. The alignment between leadership practices and assessment implementation created a structured, responsive, and student-centered learning environment. The study indicates that academic leadership plays a key role in enhancing the effectiveness of digital formative assessment and improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

The low conceptual understanding of mathematics in elementary schools is often caused by learning practices that ignore the cognitive phase of students, which is the background of this research. This study aims to test whether or not there is and how much influence the concrete pictorial abstract approach has on students' conceptual understanding of plane geometry material. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type was used in this study. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling which is included in nonprobability sampling. The data collection technique was carried out through written tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The data analysis technique used was the normality and homogeneity test as prerequisite tests. The Independent Sample T-test and Cohen's d test were used for hypothesis testing. The results of the study showed that (1) There is an influence of the concrete pictorial abstract approach on students' conceptual understanding of plane geometry material, as shown in the results of the Independent Sample T-test with a Sig. value of 0.001 (≤ 0.05), so that Ha1 is accepted and Ho1 is rejected. (2) There is a large influence of the concrete pictorial abstract approach on students' conceptual understanding of the material on flat shapes, as shown by the results of the Cohen's d test with a d value of 1.31 (≥ 0.8), so that Ha2 is accepted and Ho2 is rejected. The results of the study confirm that the implementation of concrete pictorial abstracts increases students' conceptual understanding statistically and has practical significance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran busy book dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media busy book terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas III MI Nurul Islam Mirigambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahapan yaitu: Analysis (analisis), Design (desain/perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Uji coba dilakukan dalam skala kecil dan skala besar. Analisis data meliputi data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Sedangkan data kuantitatif berupa hasil dari lembar validasi, dan angket respon siswa tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran busy book. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media busy book yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik yaitu: media pembelajaran mampu mendukung keaktifan belajar siswa, bersifat interaktif, menarik serta sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa kelas III. Media busy book ini dikembangkan melalui tahapan model ADDIE, sebagai berikut: a) Analisis, guru dominan menggunakan metode ceramah dan hanya berpacu pada bahan ajar, sehingga siswa kurang antusis dan memilih bermain selama proses pembelajaran. b) Perencanaan, membuat rancangan berupa media busy book. c) Pengembangan, menghasilkan media busy book yang interaktif. d) Implementasi, validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 90% (sangat valid), ahli materi 96% (sangat valid), dan respon peserta didik 87,6% (menarik).e) Evaluasi, media diperbaiki berdasarkan saran dari para ahli. Penggunaan media busy book ini terbukti dapat membangun keaktifan belajar peserta didik yang awalnya pasif menjadi lebih aktif melalui kegiatan menggunting, menempel, berdiskusi, dan menjawab soal.

Abstract

This research is based on the existence of problems in Javanese language learning in grade IV. Students consider the Javanese uploading material to be difficult material. Educators use the lecture method more, without the help of learning media so that students are bored. Therefore, the researcher developed a flashcard media for ngoko and krama vocabulary through a simulation method with the aim of helping students understand the differences and use of ngoko and krama vocabulary. This research uses the type (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study showed that (1) The development of flashcard media obtained 80% (valid) results from material expert validators, 97.3% (very valid) media expert validators, 96% (very valid) results from question validators. The results of the teacher trial were 100% (very good), the results of the small group trial were 86.7% (very good) and the results of the large group trial were 90.83% (very good). (2) The feasibility of flashcard media can be seen from the results of increasing pre-test to post-test scores. The average result of the pre-test score was 50.00 to 87.50 in the post-test results, so there was an increase of 37.50 points. This proves that the flashcard media of ngoko and krama vocabulary through the simulation method is declared suitable for use as a learning medium in Javanese language subjects in grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of competencies in the Pancasila Student Profile, especially creativity. Teachers can foster creative learning by designing innovative media that encourages students’ creativity. The method used includes Research and Development (R&D) with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) approach. The data was gathered through unstructured interviews, non-participant observation, a questionnaire, and an assessment, including pre-test and post-test. This research aims to (1) develop an audio-visual digital short story learning medium titled “Hole Adventure,” (2) analyse its impact on improving creative writing skills. Based on this research, the implementation of the learning media towards 5th grade students of MIM Plus Suwaru Bandung in Tulungagung shows a significant improvement in creative writing skills. It resulted the value p < 0.001, indicating positive impact of using "Hole Adventure" media learning.
