Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of a school literacy program in increasing reading interest in class IV students at MI Nurul Huda Bajomulyo Juwana. The theoretical benefit of this research is that it can develop the knowledge researched from a theoretical perspective, especially regarding the impact of school literacy programs in increasing fourth grade students' interest in reading at MI Nurul Huda Bajomulyo Juwana. For students, it is useful for increasing motivation and learning achievement. For teachers, it is useful to develop the quality of learning to be better. For institutions, these theoretical benefits are useful as a reference for improving school policies. Meanwhile, the practical benefits of this research are expected to provide benefits to educational practitioners. For students, it is useful to improve students' understanding of several subjects. For teachers, it is useful to increase teacher professionalism in carrying out teaching and learning activities. And for institutions, it is useful as an effort to improve the quality of teaching management. This type of research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research instrument is a human instrument (researcher himself). The data collection method uses interviews, documentation and observation. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out using the data triangulation technique from Milles and Hubberman or by looking for data supporting the research objectives formulated by Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Conclusion Drawing and Verification, and Data Validity. The results of the data reduction are presented in the form of data displays using narrative descriptions, then the final step is to draw conclusions. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research are as follows: (1) In literacy activities at MI Nurul Huda, it is necessary to plan the activities first, then apply the methods that will be applied when the activities are carried out, then the school starts implementing the activities, and then evaluates the things that will be carried out. needs to be improved. (2) The positive impact of literacy activities is increasing students' interest in reading, students understanding the material they read, being able to create works for media, broadening their knowledge, making children read more fluently, the school has its own funds, class teachers can play an active role, support from students' parents. Meanwhile, negative impacts include laziness in students, students have difficulty concentrating, and students who are not fluent in reading will become increasingly backward.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how teachers' strategies improve critical thinking skills. The benefit of critical thinking skills from this research is that it can develop the knowledge researched from a theoretical perspective, especially regarding the critical thinking skills of class IV, V, VI students at MI Tarbiyatus Salam Mojoagung. For students, it is useful for increasing motivation and learning achievement. For teachers, it is useful to develop the quality of learning to be better. For institutions, these theoretical benefits are useful as a reference for improving school policies. Meanwhile, the practical benefits of this research are expected to provide benefits to educational practitioners. For students, it is useful to improve students' understanding of several subjects. For teachers, it is useful to increase teacher professionalism in carrying out teaching and learning activities. And for institutions, it is useful as an effort to improve the quality of teaching management. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. This research was carried out at MI Tarbiyatus Salam. in June-July 2022 the primary data source is class IV, V, VI teachers while the secondary data source is the teacher structure vision and mission. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation and observation. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out using data triangulation techniques from Milles and Hubberman or by looking for supporting data for the research objectives formulated by Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Conclusion Drawing and Verification, and Data Validity. The results of the data reduction are presented in the form of data displays using narrative descriptions. The conclusion of this research is that teacher strategies in improving critical thinking skills are very important for MI Tarbiyatus Salam students so they can develop brilliant ideas so that 4 teacher strategies are needed including: (1) Planning learning activities (2) implementing learning activities (3) evaluation in improving students' critical thinking abilities (4) Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' critical thinking abilities at MI Tarbiyatus Salam. There are several supporting factors including teacher enthusiasm in carrying out their duties, adequate facilities. Inhibiting factors include students feeling bored during learning, students not being active in teaching and learning activities, the sentences in the books are very difficult so they can hinder critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Think Talk Write learning model is one type of communicative learning model that is built through the process of thinking, speaking, and writing. This research uses picture media to help students in writing the content of the essay. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a communicative learning strategy using the Think Talk Write method with image media in improving the essay writing skills of grade III students at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Mi in May-June 2022. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation from the principal, third grade teacher, and data collection methods used observation, interviews and documentation from the principal, grade III teachers, grade III students and the waka of curriculum of MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong. After the data is collected, it is done by data that supports the formulated research objectives. The data analysis technique used from Miles a Huberman is a technique of finding and compiling data obtained systematically through the process of summarising data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions so that it can be easily understood and can be informed to others. The results of the study prove that the communicative learning strategy of the Think Talk Write method with picture media in improving the skills of writing skills of grade III students at MI Hidayatul Islam Gembong are as follows: First, implementing a Learning Strategy here the teacher is required to be able to use a good learning strategy because the strategy is able to provide convenience for educators to students. Therefore, teachers are required to have a learning strategy before learning takes place; second, the importance of learning media, the existence of learning media is able to help educators in learning to convey a material to be given so that children can be very easy and understand when given learning media; third, the importance of essay writing skills, the importance of essay writing skills is able to make students like to write essays. the importance of essay writing skills is able to make students like to write more because the purpose of this study is for children to prefer writing. of this study so that children prefer to write and can write well and in accordance with the applicable spelling because in accordance with the applicable spelling, therefore more emphasis is placed on essay writing skills. writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) To find out the self control of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. 2) To find out the tolerance of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. 3) To determine the effect of self-control on students' tolerance at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022. The type of research used is research conducted in the field or field research. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This research took 50% of the sample from the existing population. This research was conducted from 4 August to 4 September 2022. Data collection techniques were in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses a simple regression formula. This research concludes: 1) The Self Control of students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022, an average of 33.46, is in the good category, because it is in the interval 30 – 35. 2) The tolerance that exists in students at MI I`anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati in 2022, the average score of 32.98 is in the good category, because it is in the interval 30 – 35. 3) There is an influence of self-control on the tolerance of students at MI I `anatul Athfal Cengkalsewu Sukolilo Pati 2022. This is shown from the results of the questionnaire calculation of = 1.521, which is a value greater than rtable = 0.2181 for a significance level of 5%. Meanwhile, at the 1% significance level for respondents totaling N = 58, we get rtable = (df = N - 2) namely (58 – 2 = 56) meaning rtable = 0.2181 while rcount = 1.521 which means rcount is greater than rtable (rcount rtable). Thus, at the 1% significance level, the results are significant, which means there is a correlation between the two variables. This shows that rcount is significant.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI, determine the quality of teacher teaching, and quantitatively analyse whether or not there is an effect of the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI and its implications for improving the quality of teacher teaching in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Pati District for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is field research with a correlational type using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the KKGMI Team in Pati Subdistrict in June 2022. The sample of this research is all MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict, totalling 33 respondents with saturated sampling. The variables in this study consist of the independent variable is the intensity of teachers in attending KKGMI Pati Subdistrict, and the dependent variable is the quality of teaching MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale model. The data analysis used in this research is simple regression analysis.The results showed that: 1) The intensity of teachers following KKGMI in MI Pati District is and shows that the intensity of teachers following KKGMI MI in Pati District as much as 15% of the intensity of teachers following KKGMI Very High Category, respondents as much as 6% High Category, respondents as much as 36% Medium Category, respondents as much as 24% Low Category, and respondents as much as 18% of the intensity of teachers following KKGMI Very Low Category. 2) The improvement in the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the 2021/2022 academic year shows that the improvement in the quality of teaching of teachers is as much as 18% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the very good category, respondents as much as 64% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the good category, respondents as much as 18% of the quality of teaching of MI teachers in Pati Subdistrict in the sufficient category. 3) There is a positive and significant influence between the intensity of teachers participating in KKGMI and the quality of teaching of teachers in MI in Pati Subdistrict for the 2021/2022 academic year. This is evidenced by the results of Fcount Ftable (6.485 4.18) at the 5% significance level which indicates that H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efforts of madrasa heads in guiding students when using cellphones and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors regarding the efforts of madrasa heads in guiding students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. The practical benefit of this research is that it can provide input in efforts to guide students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong and the results of this research can be used as input in developing the curriculum. As for the theoretical benefits, it can enrich the literature, especially regarding the use of cellphones. This type of research is field research, with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses interview and documentation techniques. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. This research will search for and describe the completeness of symptoms, events and cases or activities that are closely related to the efforts of the madrasah head in guiding students when using cellphones at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of this research show that: First, the madrasah head's efforts in guiding students when using cellphones in the madrasah are by giving advice to students and drawing closer attention to the students. Second, inhibiting and supporting factors regarding the madrasa head's efforts to guide students when using cellphones at MI Miftahul Ulum Gembong for the 2022/2023 academic year. At this point there are internal and external factors. The inhibiting factors in this research are internal factors external factors. Internal factors include: a) The existence of online learning which makes it more difficult for teachers to guide students when using cellphones; b) Lack of follow-up from students. External factors include a lack of parental attention to students. Supporting factors in this research include internal factors external factors. Internal facts include: a) Active teacher control over students; b) There is a response from students when being advised by the teacher. Meanwhile, external factors are support from parents to the school.
