Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhdari implementasi kode etik guru dan supervisiPendidikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan guru di SDIT Samawi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengadopsipendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari observasi dan wawancara komprehensif dengansalah satu guru senior yang ada di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode studi pustakadengan menganalisa artikel, jurnal dan dokumen terkaituntuk dijadikan sebagai referensi penelitian. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam membentuk guru yang profesional dan kualitas pengajaran yang baik, sangat penting untuk mengimplementasikan kode etikguru. Selain itu, supervisi pendidikan yang efektif dapatmendorong pengembangan kompetensi guru melaluiumpan balik terstruktur dan dukungan yang berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah perlunyamemperhatikan secara seksama penerapan standar etikadan sistem manajemen SDIT Samawi untuk menjaminpeningkatan kompetensi guru dan mutu pendidikan secaraberkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's knowledge knowledge related to supervision techniques and methods to plan and develop educational supervision at SMP Islam Darussalam Kotagede. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using interview and observation techniques. The results showed that the principals at SMP Islamic Junior High School Darussalam Kotagede has a good knowledge of supervision techniques and methods to plan and develop educational supervision. and supervision methods to plan to develop educational supervision. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Android-based mobile learning as a learning media for Islamic Education (PAI) at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. With rapid technological advancements, the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets is increasingly widespread among students. This research explores the opportunities of utilizing Android applications as interactive and engaging learning media for students. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects involve PAI teachers, students, and relevant stakeholders at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The results indicate that the implementation of Android-based mobile learning can enhance students' interest and motivation in PAI subjects. The Android applications used present learning materials in attractive multimedia formats, accompanied by quizzes, exercises, and online discussion features. Moreover, mobile learning enables flexible learning where students can access materials anytime and anywhere. However, there are challenges in implementing mobile learning, such as limited internet infrastructure in schools and issues related to students' distraction from smartphone usage, affecting their concentration during learning. The study provides recommendations to optimize the use of mobile learning by providing guidelines and training for teachers and involving parents in monitoring the use of mobile devices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of leadership style, communication, and decision-making in enhancing managerial effectiveness in Islamic educational institutions. Effective leadership in Islamic educational institutions requires a combination of adaptive and innovative leadership skills to direct organizational resources toward desired goals. Good communication between leaders, educators, and students plays a key role in creating a conducive and productive learning environment. Additionally, accurate, participatory, and data-driven decision-making ensures that policies align with the institution's and stakeholders' needs. The findings indicate that transformational and participative leadership styles are more effective in fostering motivation and trust among organizational members. Open and transparent communication supports the realization of good coordination among organizational elements, thereby minimizing conflicts and increasing operational efficiency. Decision-making processes involving various stakeholders enhance policy legitimacy and satisfaction among members. Islamic educational institutions are required to develop dynamic and long-term vision-oriented leadership patterns to address the challenges of globalization and educational modernization. With the support of effective communication and inclusive decision-making processes, managerial effectiveness can be improved, ultimately positively impacting educational quality. This study recommends that Islamic educational institutions focus more on enhancing leadership capacity, implementing communication technologies, and developing more participatory decision-making mechanisms. These efforts are essential for supporting more professional and adaptive institutional management in responding to change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pendekatan dan model pengembangan kurikulum yang relevan untuk Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Indonesia. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menemukan model yang efektif untuk meningkatkan relevansi dan kualitas pembelajaran PAI di tengah perubahan sosial, budaya, dan teknologi. Melalui metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dua pendekatan utama, yaitu teknikal dan nonteknikal, serta berbagai model pengembangan kurikulum, termasuk model kompetensi dan tematik-integratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan teknikal lebih cocok untuk lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berorientasi pada capaian kompetensi siswa, sedangkan pendekatan nonteknikal efektif untuk lembaga pendidikan Islam non formal, yang menitikberatkan pada pembentukan karakter dan spiritualitas siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kurikulum PAI yang lebih adaptif dan kontekstual, serta menjadi referensi bagi pembuat kebijakan dan pendidik dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan tantangan zaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru les privat Bahasa Inggris sebagai fasilitator dalam pendidikan luar sekolah di Bandar Khalipa, Medan. Dalam konteks ini, guru tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing yang membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik melalui pendekatan yang personal dan interaktif. Dengan adanya les privat, siswa mendapatkan waktu tambahan untuk belajar di luar jam sekolah, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru les privat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua juga menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di luar sekolah. Abstract

This research aims to explore the implications of family-based leadership in Dayah institutions in Aceh and its impact on opportunities for competent santri to assume leadership roles. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the study involved interviews with administrators, teachers, and santri from several Dayah institutions. The findings reveal that family-based leadership models in Aceh Dayah tend to limit leadership opportunities for non-family members, particularly those with higher academic and leadership competencies. This results in a stagnation of leadership dynamics, limiting the professional growth and development of santri. Additionally, the findings highlight that the leadership selection process is often based on family lineage rather than merit, which leads to the perpetuation of family control over Dayah leadership roles. The research suggests the need for a more inclusive leadership selection process that prioritizes competence and potential, rather than familial ties, in order to foster the professional development of santri and improve the overall management of Islamic education in Dayah institutions. These findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on leadership in Islamic educational settings and emphasize the importance of merit-based leadership selection to enhance educational outcomes.

Abstract

Blended Learning is a creative educational method that integrates the benefits of face-to-face instruction with the convenience of digital technology through online learning. This approach emerged as an alternative to improve the efficiency of the learning process, provide students with easier access to materials, and adapt to each individual's learning style. In practice, Blended Learning enables more interactive interactions, both between students and instructors, and among students through various digital platforms. This article explores the basic principles of Blended Learning, its characteristics, advantages and challenges in implementation, and its relevance in today's education. It is hoped that with a deeper understanding of this learning model, educational institutions can optimize teaching strategies to improve the quality and competitiveness of education in the digital age.

Abstract

The VARK learning style model has long been used in education to identify students' learning preferences. However, various studies have shown that this model has theoretical and practical weaknesses, including fixed labeling, simplification of learning potential, and a lack of empirical evidence regarding its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. This research is crucial for evaluating these criticisms from the perspective of Islamic education, which upholds the principles of fitrah (natural disposition), justice, and diversity in the learning process. This study employed a non-empirical, qualitative approach in the form of a critical literature review, analyzing learning style theories, previous research findings, and concepts from Islamic education and learning differentiation. The study resulted in an alternative model called Multimodal-Tolerant Learning Design (MTLD), which integrates three main principles: active multimodality, pedagogical tolerance, and fitrah-based learning. These findings emphasize the importance of inclusive, flexible learning design rooted in Islamic values. Consequently, teachers need to develop learning strategies that stimulate all learning modalities and encourage the holistic growth of students, rather than simply adapting to dominant preferences.

Abstract

In the context of globalization and educational disruption, Islamic education is expected not only to excel academically but also to be strong in shaping students' character and spiritual values. Therefore, the quality management system implemented at MAN Bireuen is not solely based on administrative and technical standards but also emphasizes core Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, trustworthiness, and deliberation (shura). This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and education staff, observation of school management activities, and documentation of regulations and quality programs based on Islamic values. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that MAN Bireuen has integrated Islamic values into various aspects of quality management, from planning, implementation, and evaluation to continuous improvement. These values serve as guidelines for decision-making, human resource management, curriculum development, and the cultivation of a work and learning culture. Despite several challenges, such as limited understanding of Islamic quality management concepts among staff and a lack of continuous training, the overall implementation has had a positive impact on school culture, student achievement, and parental and community satisfaction. This study recommends strengthening training in Islamic-based management, continuous monitoring, and the development of an evaluation model that reflects Islamic principles.
