Abstract

Import is a very important activity for a country and the value always changing every year, this thing can affect the foreign exchange of a country. When a country consumed a lot goods, it resulted in the country to do a lot of import activity as well. By doings so, the economy would be unbalanced and so the country will has a lot of debts. With that in mind, predicting the import activity in the future can be essential to prevent the country from being unbalanced in terms of economy. The purpose of this research is to predict the future import activity by using Linear Regression Algorithm and applying Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) method. This method uses to find the value of regression equation, as well as getting error analysis through accuracy of predictions using MAD, MSE, and MAPE using R. Studio software. The results that was obtained for 2021 amounted to 6745.298 tons and 2022 amounted to 6578.703 tons. As for the resulting error analysis, MAD value is 2652.901, MSE value is 10002316 and MAPE value is 255.17%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to predict how many plane passengers on the airport Soekarno Hatta and Ngurah Rai with the data obtained on 2017 - 2021. On this research, this study will compare the dataset that this study acquired before from BPS, to predict the amount of the passengers on airport Soekarno Hatta and Ngurah Rai, this study will be using a software called RStudio and try to execute with simple linear regression method. The information from prediction and research can be used or changed by anyperson of importance such as for promotion, advertisement, as well as the usage on RStudio.

Abstract

The rapid spread of covid has had many impacts on all people in the world. In Indonesia, the first case of COVID-19 was found in March 2020 and continues to spread until now. Many government efforts started from PSBB to PPKM and also several regulations in it to prevent the spread of this virus. So, by using the RStudio program and trying to execute the spread of COVID-19data with this simple linear regression method to predict the number of COVID-19cases to find out whether there will be a case increase in Indonesia on a certain date. Besides that, the result of the predicted data can be used for any purpose or it can also use to compare predictive data with actual data.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Instagram as marketing for DE Plafon company. Qualitative methods were used in this study, with data sources derived from primary data that used observation methods and secondary data that used interview methods. Observation was used to gain October and November 2021 insight data such as Profile Activity, Content Reach, and Reached Audience from DE Plafon Instagram, while interview was used to gain data about DE Plafon from one of the DE Plafon employees. The end result of this study is to showed how effective Instagram as marketing for DE Plafon and suggestion for DE Plafon.

Abstract

Social media are technology that allow sharing or exchange of information, ideas, interests, etc., via virtual communities and networks. Social media is often use for chatting either private chat or commenting on posts, and most frequently used application in Indonesia such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, and so on. So far, peoples are typing using abbreviations as habit instead using full word and thus cause misunderstanding for others. Descriptive qualitative method was used to collect data. Text mining is a data science technique which mine data in the form of text and look for words that can represent or analyze the content of the document, and by using network of terms that can build a graph for knowing interactions between words in document. In this study, with implementing data preprocessing in text mining process is expected to reduce word or text that are not necessary, which made analyze easier to find out abbreviations within captions or comments.

Abstract

Deafness is a condition that causes a person to have difficulty hearing. Deafness can occur in various age ranges and various causes. In the case of deafness that occurs at the age of children, it causes problems in terms of communication between the children verbally and in writing with other people. This can be permanent or temporary. This condition makes it difficult for children to get an exclusive learning media, and it is difficult for parents to help the learning process of deaf children. So we need a media that can help parents in helping their children in the learning process. Based on these problems, the researchers proposed a 2-dimensional animated educational video about SIBI for elementary school children which aims to help parents in making the learning of children with hearing impairments effective. In this study, researchers used 2D animated videos for deaf children so that they could learn how to communicate in sign language.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many changes in activities that people usually do physically and have to adapt to technology. One of them is seminar activities that hold physical and mass meetings that must adapt to become webinars. Webinars have been attended by many students to seek the knowledge/information they need and can get e-certificates as a form of proof that they have participated in the webinar. However, many students who attend webinars just get an e-certificate, not the webinar topic they want to listen to. The Design Thinking approach is an approach that focuses on "Human-Centered Design" with 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test and implement. The results of this study produce a prototype application called Seminarku which will be used by students in facilitating the desired webinar activity.

Abstract

Instagram Web can be accessed using a browser from a computer or laptop. Its function is the same as the Instagram application which was previously available on Android or IOS. The striking difference is the shape of the screen that displays content from Instagram users. This journal will discuss how the design of the user interface and user experience balances the Instagram web and is not disconnected from the design of the Instagram application on Android. The result of the research is that Instagram Web Design creates a design that follows the initial purpose of the Instagram mobile application design which is related to the principles of value, desirability, adoptability, and usability. That way the Instagram Web user experience can be aligned with the Instagram mobile user experience.

Abstract

Universitas Universal currently has an official website-based E-Learning application that can be accessed by user account via mobile devices and desktops. However, after being given several questionnaires to the respondents, there were several shortcomings that needed to be corrected in the mobile version of the E-Learning application. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of usability and effectiveness of the interface design on the mobile version of Universitas Universal E-Learning. The method used is the Goal Directed Design method. This research was also conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) calculation technique to measure the usability level. The result of this research is the user interface design which is made based on the stages in the Goal Directed Design method, namely research, modelling, requirements, framework and refinement. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in the level of usability in the new user interface design from an average score of 78 to 85 and the criteria for acceptable are acceptable in the acceptability ranges, found in Grade B, and the criteria for excellent in adjective ratings were previously only acceptable on acceptability ranges, found in Grade C, and good criteria on adjective ratings.

Abstract

The use of technology has now been applied by almost all sectors of job, one of which is in the field of education. Information management at Universal University using the Academic Information System has been implemented for approximately 4 (four) years since 2017. However, so far SIMAK at Universal University has never conducted any evaluation or audit of IT governance, so the use of SIMAK has not been proven whether has been going well, therefore it is necessary to conduct an IT Governance Audit at Universal University on SIMAK services using the COBIT 5 framework MEA (Monitor, Evaluate and Assess) domain. The results show that the SIMAK capability level at Universal University is currently at level 1 (Performed Process) which means that the system has been running well and the IT goals have been achieved. SIMAK at Universal University has not yet reached the expected condition (To Be), which is at level 4 (Predictable Process) with the gap it has is 3.
