Abstract

There are still many Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) that experience difficulties in developing their business due to lack of access to information and knowledge on how to manage their business properly. Some of the problems that are often encountered include losing proof of transactions, errors when calculating, errors in recording stock, and others. One way to manage finances and inventory well is to do bookkeeping. This research is a qualitative research with a Design Thinking approach. We will add new features to the existing business development information system. We will introduce an inventory management and financial management feature that will help SMEs manage their inventory, record expenses and income more easily and efficiently. By adding new features to the existing business development information system, researchers believe that the business development information system design project in SMEs can help SMEs manage their business better and more effectively.

Abstract

The vegetarian diet has become increasingly popular in the 21st century due to its potential to reduce the risk of chronic and degenerative diseases. Vegetarians are individuals who do not consume animal products, either for religious or health reasons. However, it can be difficult to determine whether a particular food is vegetarian or non-vegetarian based on visual inspection alone. Therefore, this study successfully developed an SVM & RBF model in RStudio that can accurately differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods based on image data. The model achieved an accuracy rate of 95%, specificity of 100%, sensitivity of 88.89%, and an AUC value of 94.44%. It can be concluded that the SVM & RBF model is capable of predicting data with high accuracy and effectively distinguishing between vegetarian and non-vegetarian classes.

Abstract

A company certainly has human resources that must be managed. The process of managing human resources has been computerized, but most of it is still manual and because of that the Human Resources Department (HRD) find it difficult to manage. The problem that is often encountered in managing employee data is the difficulty of recording, storing, and managing employee data due to the large number of employees. The purpose of this research is to build a Human Resources (HR) applications that makes it easier for HR to record employee data. The design of this applications uses the Design Thinking method which consists of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages. The aim of the design is for researchers to have a deep interest in developing understanding from users. This helps researchers to observe and develop empathy with the target users. The result of this research is the applications of Human Resources which can make it easier to overcome difficulties in recording, storing, and managing employee data.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an arbovirus disease caused by dengue virus infection through the bite of the Aedes mosquito, Aedes aegypti. Signs or symptoms of dengue usually resemble ordinary viral infections, but can become more severe and cause other symptoms that can paralyze the activities of the patient who suffers from it. The initial symptoms of someone who is infected with the dengue virus will experience a fever within 4–6 days after being infected. Therefore, early diagnosis is needed whether a person is infected or not with dengue fever. Because if someone is late getting treatment by medical personnel, then this can lead to death. Prevention can be done by making the right predictions. Dengue fever disease prediction research is needed to assist medical personnel in making a diagnosis. To get a good level of accuracy, research collected data and used the Radial Basis Function (RBF) approach method. The results of the RBF prediction evaluation obtained are that the RBF model gets 100% accuracy, 100% sensitivity, 100% specificity, and 100% AUC value.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to maximize the use of e-learning applications by students for easier access to academic knowledge. The method used is Design Thinking. This method applies a solution-based approach that is used to solve problems, understand application users to define existing problems, then make solutions to solve existing problems. starting from looking for respondents to know the problems faced and followed by determining the problem and the results from the respondents will be processed and will become a new design that can solve user problems.

In the world of education, technology can influence learning media that can support learning activities to be more effective and easier to do. The existence of this learning media application aims to facilitate the learning process and increase efficiency during the learning process, because students only need to access the application to start learning the material that has been provided.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine an application prototype to giving more Annoymous Feature so that they can easily speak up what problem that they embarrassed or feel ashamed to talk to. The problem that we’re having at the moments is that user can’t be freely to speak up because of scared that people look at them as an person that want attention from others also a weak person that can’t handle something like that which its make people have some mental disorder that will risk to death if not assisted immediately. Design Thinking have five stages are involved which is emphatizing, defining, ideation, prototype and testing. The goal of this study is for made an innovation about mental health application and hope that they can interact to communicate without feel being judge.

Abstract

The nglowongi process is one part of the batik process, which is making patterns on mori. As technology develops, this process is replaced by machines that apply CNC technology, namely the CNC rotary bed. In its implementation, obstacles were found such as failure to form motifs that have perfect angles on the fabric. There are many possible factors that cause the failure, but the authors focus on the limiting factors on the speed and acceleration of the stepper motor movement and the design angle of the motif. The purpose of this research is to optimize the input setup (speed and acceleration) on GRBL during the process of making angular motifs on batik cloth. The method used is the Taguchi method and two way-ANOVA. The results of this study indicate that the optimal combination of motif design angle, speed and acceleration is 91°-180°, 833.33 mm/s or 500 mm/min respectively and the input acceleration is 4000 mm/s2

Abstract

The advancement of technology has brought innovation in various aspects of life, including the field of education. One area that continues to evolve is educational technology, particularly in the use of tools to enhance more effective learning processes. In this context, this research aims to design and develop a prototype of an automatic whiteboard eraser with Bluetooth connectivity. This study combines microcontroller technology and Bluetooth connectivity to create a device that enables automatic whiteboard erasing. By integrating components such as a DC motor, HC-05 Bluetooth module, and others, this device can be operated through a mobile device connected via Bluetooth. Furthermore, the device is equipped with end-limit settings to stop the eraser at the edge of the whiteboard, along with the use of sensors for monitoring. The outcome of this research is a prototype of an automatic whiteboard eraser that can be easily operated through Bluetooth connectivity. Users can control the device via a mobile application, providing convenience and flexibility in usage. The device is also designed with a focus on safety and efficiency, making it suitable for comfortable use in educational settings. Through testing and evaluation, the device successfully achieves effective and consistent whiteboard erasing. With the integration of Bluetooth connectivity, this device offers a modern solution to facilitate teaching and learning processes. It is hoped that the results of this research will contribute positively to the development of technology-based educational tools and open doors for further advancements in supporting innovative and interactive education.

Abstract

Paropo Subdistrict Office is a subdistrict located in Panakkukang District, Makassar City with a population of approximately 15,932 people. The current information system for population administration services in government agencies, such as the Paropo Subdistrict office, is still carried out semi-computerized, where the preparation of certificates and cover letters still uses Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, resulting in less than optimal service to the community. This research aims to provide convenience when processing data and writing correspondence. The systems research method used in this research is the PIECES analysis method (Performance, Informance, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). Depicting the system using use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. The result of this research is to create a design for a population administration service information system at the Paropo Village office. With this system, it can make it easier to manage data, especially for correspondence purposes, according to what is desired and is more structured and stored properly in the system.
