Abstract

The focus of this research is on designing an alternative interactive 3D learning media specifically for basic life support CPR for students. The goal is to provide an interactive learning media option on basic life support CPR at School. The basic life support CPR material is combined with 3D interactive media using Gamification and Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) methods. This learning media integrates basic life support CPR content, game scenarios, and interactive elements to create an engaging and realistic learning experience. The expected outcome of this research is an engaging learning media for students to learn basic life support CPR and to facilitate educators in delivering this material effectively. Application testing will be conducted through game testing, public beta, and questionnaires.

Abstract

The goal of education is to help students develop their potential for personal, societal, and national benefits through an organized learning process between teachers and students. Through one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, tutoring centers are essential in helping students overcome scholastic obstacles and advance their abilities. Nevertheless, a lot of tutoring facilities, including "Let's Shine," continue to use manual scheduling techniques, sometimes with Excel, which results in inefficiencies and frequent changes. In order to improve tutor scheduling, this study suggests using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which gives priority to factors such tutor status, subject type, time, day, number of students, and difficulty level. Management interviews and observation were used in the data collection process. The SAW method streamlines scheduling with an objective, data-driven approach that should increase productivity and decrease revisions.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of protection of freedom of speech that is increasingly prevalent on social media, especially among teenagers. Internal factors such as personality and online habits, as well as external factors such as the social environment and technological developments, are the main causes of this phenomenon. Although social media provides a space for expression, this freedom is often misused, which causes serious psychological impacts for victims. Existing regulations, including the ITE Law, are still not effective enough in handling these cases, so a more comprehensive approach is needed through education, better legal regulations, and awareness of digital ethics to create a safe and responsible online space.

Abstract

Batam, a strategic city in Indonesia's Riau Islands Province near Singapore and Malaysia, is a hub of economic activity, trade, and tourism, resulting in high mobility demands. The increasing need for transportation services, including car rentals, highlights the importance of efficient and practical solutions to support daily activities and business operations. To address growing demand, car rental companies in Batam have adopted Decision Support Systems (DSS) to enhance service quality. DSS helps analyze data and provides recommendations, enabling customers to select vehicles that meet their needs. One method implemented in DSS is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) technique, which evaluates criteria such as price, vehicle type, capacity, and comfort. SAW ensures systematic, transparent decision-making, reducing bias and enhancing customer satisfaction. By integrating SAW, car rental businesses in Batam improve operational efficiency, offer competitive services, and meet customer expectations in a rapidly growing market.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the best-performing lecturer at the Faculty of Computer, Universitas Universal. The study aims to provide an objective and measurable evaluation of lecturer performance by considering criteria such as education, research, community service, and supporting activities. The results of the AHP calculation show that Lecturer 4 ranked first with the highest total score of 93.29, followed by Lecturer 8 with a score of 90.39, and Lecturer 13 with a score of 89.78. The AHP method offers a transparent and efficient approach to decision-making, which can motivate lecturers to improve their academic performance and contribute to creating a productive work culture at the faculty. This study concludes that the application of AHP in determining the best lecturer is an effective solution to ensure fair, transparent, and objective decisions, ultimately enhancing the overall academic quality.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a mobile application for recording and monitoring student violations at SMK Advent Batam, addressing the inefficiencies and errors of the current manual system. Using the Waterfall model and developed with Dart and the Flutter framework, the application integrates with a MySQL database to enable teachers and staff to easily input and verify violations. The app also provides parents with real-time access to their children's records, improving communication and transparency. Testing confirmed that the system enhances efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility, offering a more reliable solution for managing student violations and supporting decision-making processes.

Abstract

Transjakarta, the primary public transportation system in Jakarta, plays a strategic role in meeting the growing mobility needs of urban residents. This study aims to implement multiple linear regression to predict bus arrival times at final destinations using simulated transaction data that includes tap-in and tap-out information, bus routes, travel times, as well as additional variables such as traffic conditions, route distances, and operational hours. The analysis results indicate that the predictive model developed has high accuracy, with traffic conditions and route distances identified as significant factors. The implementation of this model has the potential to assist Transjakarta operators in improving route management efficiency, reducing passenger wait times, and providing more accurate arrival time estimates through supporting applications. This research also lays the foundation for developing data-driven prediction systems for public transportation management.

Abstract

This study aims to design Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in animal classification based on their food types for elementary school students in Maitreyawira. By using Unity and Vuforia, this AR application is expected to provide an interactive and interesting learning experience for students. The method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The development process begins with the conceptualization stage, where an analysis of learning media needs is carried out through literature studies, interviews with teachers and students, and field observations. The results of the analysis are used to design the system and determine the specifications of the application to be developed. At the material collection stage, information regarding animal classification based on their food types is collected from various literature sources and interviews with biologists. The learning media creation stage is carried out using Unity as the main development platform and Vuforia for the implementation of AR technology. Testing is carried out to ensure that the application functions properly and meets user needs. Feedback from users, namely teachers and students. The results of this study are an AR application that can help students understand animal classification based on their food types more interactively and interestingly. This application is expected to increase students' interest and understanding of biology material, as well as provide a positive contribution to the learning process at Elementary School Maitreyawira.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to enhance tourist attraction through the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology at specific tourist destinations, focusing on the case study of the Graha Satya Kalama Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya statue. The research method involves analyzing the potential tourist appeal and implementing AR to enhance the visitor experience. By developing a dedicated AR application, visitors can access interactive information and additional visual elements while around the statue. The results of this study are expected to demonstrate that AR implementation can enhance tourist attraction by providing a more engaging and informative experience. This research contributes to innovative development in the tourism sector, particularly in leveraging AR technology to enrich the visitor experience at cultural and religious destinations like Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya

Abstract

Designing ecommerce website is an important process of creating user interfaces and user experiences or UI/UX for an online platform that facilitates the buying and selling of products or services on the Internet. Many companies have their own e-commerce website to support their business operational. PT Sinar Batam Indo Perkasa as a ke-player in manufacture industry is facing problems with its e-commerce website in term of visual design that need to be improved to attract more costomers. In this paper we discuss how design thinking creative and user-centered approach could be implemented to redesign the visual attract of company’s e-commerce website as an innovative solution. With the utilization of Figma as a web-based graphic design tool, each phase of design thinking approach (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test) will be described thoroughly to produce the final result, which is an intuitive and functional design of company’s e-commerce website.
