Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the history and development of the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum, (2) the condition and management of historic objects in the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum, (3) utilization of Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum collection as instructional history media and source in SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa.This study used qualitative descriptive method, with the shape of a single case study. The data source of this research was the informant, places, events, archives, documents and historical objects Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and analysis of documents. Footage used was purposive sampling techniques derived from Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum manager, agents of history, history teacher, vice principal of curriculum, facilities and infrastructure vice principal, students, Dispora of Semarang District. The validity of the data used was triangulation techniques of data and methods. The data analysis technique used was interactive analysis, which was a process of analysis that move between the three components which include data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion.This research indicate that: (1) the history and development of the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum was built on the basic of respect for Lieutenant Isdiman and has historical value in the event of the Battle Ambarawa, (2) the condition and management of historic objects in the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum still limited to administrative management were still modest, (3) the use Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum collection as instructional history media and source of SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa adjusted to the Standards Competency and Basic Competency listed on the KTSP (Education Unit Based Curriculum).

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine: (1) the background of the anti-landlord movement in Sambirejo village, Mantingan district, Ngawi in the year of 1963-1965, (2) the anti-landlord in the Sambirejo village, Mantingan district, Ngawi in the year of 1963 - 1965, (3) the impact of the anti-landlord in the Sambirejo village, Mantingan district, Ngawi in the year of 1963 - 1965 in the political, economic and social. This research used the historical method or methods of history. Historical method is the process of critically examine and analyze records and relics of the past, then reconstructed based on the data obtained so as to produce historiography. The results of this study are : (1) factor of the background occurrence of anti landlords PKI is the desire to exist in politics, PKI sight to the Indonesian revolution, land reform implementation used by the PKI, the Indonesian farmers' front existence among farmers tenants, (2) anti-landlord began planting waged between the years 1963 to 1965 to cancel the Minister of Agrarian Affairs Decree No. SK. 10/Depag/1964. Action continued through 1965 and peak dispute erupted on May 1, 1965, (3) The impact of anti-landlord movement in political field is competition between political parties, political polarization, a reaction against. Economic impact of injuries that there were 7 members BTI injuries and 10 houses belonging to tenant who is also a member of BTI vandalized and burned, Pondok Modern Gontor does not get confiscated yet by the crops due to BPPL Ngawi. Impact in the social sector, namely the emergence of anti-communist stance and coalition occurs between Pondok Modern Gontor, Masyumi, as well as other Islamic organizations and PNI to counter actions by the BTI / PKI. Abstract

            The objective of this research is to understand (1) the teaching of history based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta; (2) nationalism values in the topic of Resistance against Western Colonization; (3) the strategies teachers utilize in instilling nationalism values in history teaching within the topic of Resistance against Western Colonization; (4) obstacles during the teaching of nationalism values in history teaching within the topic of Resistance against Western Colonization in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta.This study was conducted under qualitative descriptive method that emphasized the process and meaning of the activity or information in the ongoing situation. The strategy used in this study was case study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. To validate the data, the researcher used data sources triangulation and method triangulation. This research used an interactive model.Research findings showed that: (1) history teachers played bigger roles in encouraging the students in order that teaching objectives within the topic of Resistance against Western Colonization could be achieved; (2) history teachers emphasized that the sense of responsibility towards the country was one that created a sense of patriotic nationalism; (3) teachers infused the nationalism values in the history teaching through the process of planning, acting, and evaluating; (4) the obstacle was the lack of students? awareness to read so that they found it difficult to comprehend and implement the nationalism values.

Abstract

Sri Wulandari. Danudirja Setiabudis Educational Thought in the Netherlands Indies at 1912-1941 and the Relevance to Historical Learning Materials at Class IX of Senior High School. Thesis, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. Desember 2014The purpose of this study were to describe: (1) a history of Danudirja Setiabudi, (2) the politics and education alstruggle of Danudirj aSetiabudi in the Dutch East Indies, (3) the effect of Setiabudi Danudirja struggle against the colonial government and Indieseducational policy, (4) the relevance of Danudirja Setiabudi seducational thought in 1912-1942 at Dutch East Indies towards material of historical learning at class XI Senior High School.In accordance with that objectives, this research used the historical method. This research took place in Monument Press, Rekso Pustaka Library Surakarta. Data were collected through literature study and analysis of primary sources such as books by Danudirja Setiabudi, newspapers and etc. Data analysis techniques in this research using historical analysis that is technical analysis emphasis on sharpness in the interpretation of historical data.Based on the results can be concluded: (1) Danudirja Setibudi born of the couple Auguste Henri Edouard Douwes Dekker, a Dutchman and his mother Louisa Margaretha Neumann.  This shows Danudirja Setiabudi are descendants of Indonesian or mixture included in group Indies. Danudirja Setiabudi as anIndis get a better education than the indigenous people. (2) Danudirja Setiabudi see gaps arise in him the desire transform and express his desire. The path chosen is journalism. Through newspapers Danudirja Setiabudi try express an opinion on the colonial government. Besides journalism Danudirja Setiabudi establish political parties with Ki Hajar Dewantoro and Tcipto Mangun Kusumo named Indische Partij. After this political field failed Danudirja Setiabudi continue his struggle in education by establishing Ksatrian Instituut School in Bandung. (3) As a result of the Setiabudi Danudirja struggle weremake the colonial government get a new provision that all organizations deemed not cooperative with the Dutch government then did not get the recognition of legal entities from the colonial government. His struggle in education give new color for education in the Dutch East Indies, where the school is formed Danudirja Setiabudi embed understand love of country which raised the understanding of nationalism in Ksatrian Instituut students. (4) Setiabudi Danudirja thinking in the field of education is still relevant to this day. Nasioanlisme is understood love of the homeland and a willing to sacrifice for the nation of Indonesia. It is closely related to classroom learning materials at class XI of Senior High School about the national movement.

Advances in science and technology was also brought harm to young people. To prevent the emergence of adverse effects, it is necessary to character recognition and early learning for children. One way of effective learning manners is through traditional arts. In this article I will describe the values ??embodied in the character of traditional arts, such as leather puppet arts, karawitan, and dance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to find out : (1) The management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013, (2) The impact of the full implementation of Basic Agrarian Law 1960 on Special Region of Yogyakarta on the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace, and (3) The relevance of management of magersari land of Yogyakarta on the period 1984 ? 2013 in the enrichment of local history course material.This research used historical method. There is four stage in process of historical research; heuristics, criticsm, interpretation, and historiography. Technique of analyzing the data used historical analysis, give priority to criticsm sharpness and data interpretation. The source of the research used primary resource and secondary resource.The results of this research are : (1) The management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013 is done by several parties, they includes royal servants, common people (non royal servant), and legal entity or institution equpped with serat kekancingan issued by Tepas Panitikismo, (2) The full implementation of Basic Agrarian Law 1960 on Special Region of Yogyakarta is not significantly affected on the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace, because the status of magersari land is categorized as sultan ground which is under the autonom authority of Yogyakarta Palace. The magersari land is managed with custom rule of palace and it?s optionally registered on agrarian office. Magersari concept in the past was a traditional housing and settlement around the palace. In the present, the right to occupy of sultan ground is known as magersari (3) The relevance of the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013 in the enrichment of local history course material can be seen as the facility to extend the knowledge about historiography of local history.

Abstract

The objectives of research were: (1) to find out the relationship between historical comprehension to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari. 2) to find out the relationship between social area to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari, and 3) to find out the relationship between historical comprehension and social area to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari.This study was a descriptive quantitative research using statistical analysis to draw a conclusion. The population of research was all of XI IPS grades in SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari. The sample consisted of 81 students taken using random sampling technique. The data needed was obtained through test and questionnaire. The questionnaire was tried out first and tested for its validity and reliability. The technique of analyzing data used was a multiple linear regression analysis, F-, t-, R2-tests, and relative and effective contributions.The conclusions of research were as: 1) There is a positively relationship between historical comprehension to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) showing that tstatistic> ttable, 2.073 > 1.664 and the significance value < 0.05 yaitu 0.041 with relative contribution of 16.312% and effective contribution of 6.287%. 2)  There is a positively relationship between social area to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) showing that tstatistic> ttable, 5.922 > 1.664 and the significance value <0.05 yaitu 0.000with relative contribution of 83.688% and effective contribution of 32.253%. 3) There is a positively relationship between historical comprehension and social area to the historical awareness of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression variance analysis (F-test) showing that Fstatistic> Ftable, 24.456 > 3.114and the significance value < 0.05, of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,3854indicated that historical awareness and nationalism?s attitudeaffected 38.54% the student?s learning achievement in history lessongrade XI SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta, while the rest was affected by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the history of Legiun Mangkunegaran, (2) changes and dinamics Legiun Mangkunegaran in 1916 ? 1942, (3) the impact of Legiun Mangkunegaran for the stability of safety of Surakarta at 1916 ? 1942, (4) the implementation of Legiun Mangkunegaran at 1916 ? 1942 in learning history to the students of eleventh grade of senior high school.The research method that is uses is historical method. The source of data that is used in this study is primary and secondary sources. Historical method was the critical process of examining and analyzing the past recording and heritage, and then reconstructing them based on the data obtained so that a historiography results. The procedure of historical method included heuristic, critical, interpretation, and historiography.Based on the result of the research can be concluded that: (1) Legiun Mangkunegaran was formed at July 29, 1808 based on decree of Governor Lieutnant General Daendels, Legiun Mangkunegaran was formed based on two interests they are as reserve that is used by the dutch east Indian army and as a political tool that is used to scare-discouraging any attempt to abolish political glassware, (2) in accordance with the change of politic at 20th century, Legiun Mangkunegaran change in the terms of both quality and quantity, (3) the exiatence of Legiun Mangkunegaran makes Mangkunegaran especially and Surakarta generally having a good stability of security, (4) Legiun Mangkunegaran in 1916 -1942 can be implemented in curriculum 2013 as learning material of history to the eleventh grade of senior high school. Kata Kunci: Legiun Mangkunegaran, Military, Learning the History

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the activity and learning outcome of class X IIS 3 SMAN 1 Banyudono through the implementation of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) with Active Gaming Media.Data and data sources come from students, teachers, and the learning process. The data collection technique is by interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests. Test method validation using triangulation techniques, data analysis using comparative descriptive technique.The results of this study indicate that: (1) the application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve the activity of the students. This can be seen in the percentage of achievement indicators of students learning activeness in the questionnaire, on the pracycle percentage of activity just touch 54,28% and then at the first cycle the average achievement of students' learning activeness amounted to 74.98% and the second cycle increased to 81.20%, this acquisition meets the achievement indicators for 75%; (2) application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve student learning outcomes. It daat seen in the percentage of the value of cognitive test results on the first cycle that show 47.82% increased in the second cycle to 100%, these results have exceeded the target of achieving set at about 90%.Conclusions from this research is the application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve the studentactivity and learning outcome.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to know : (1) the builts backround of Umbul Sewu as a tourism object (2)  the management of Umbul Sewu tourism (3) development of Umbul Sewu tourism (4) the influence of Umbul Sewu tourism against social economy life in Pengging community and around. This kind of study is descriptive qualitative. In this study used single spikes case studies that is target of study have been restricted, determined and also  centralized in one location that has its own character. The source of data that used are object, place, phenomenon, and documents. The sampling techniques used purposive sampling that is sampling based on the study objectives, where the researcher select the informant who considered issues in depth and also can be trusted. In this study, to find the data validity used two trianggulation technique that are dara trianggulation and method trianggulation. The data analysis technique that used is interactive analysis that is analysis proccess that moved between three components which includes data reduction, data presentment and verivication/inferences. This study can be concluded : (1) the builts backround of Umbul Sewu as a tourism object because the advantages of Pengging in tourism potential and the ease of its transportation (2) the manager develop Umbul Sewu with the family tourism concept which combine between swimming pool and restaurant. Umbul sewu is a tourism object that run by individuals PT. Umbul sewu are not cooperate with the Boyolali Department of Tourism and Culture but Umbul sewu only remit the tax to local government. (3) there is development in Umbul Sewu, slightly increase and the addition of a swimming pool as many as 3 pieces and gazebo as many as 12 pieces, an increase of visitors each year, this is due to the promotional efforts are always enhanced by the manager of Umbul Sewu. (4) The existence of Umbul Sewu tourism spot influence to the surrounding society, a change in the social life of the society such as changing the status of the unemployed had become employed. While the impact in the economic field was a very large increase in financial income and also increase the economic life in Pengging community and around.
