Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve creativity and learning outcomes history students class VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Kebakkramat Karanganyar Regency academic Year 2016/2017 by applying the model koopertaif type Talking Stick and the audio-visual media.This research is classroom action research (CAR). Research conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subject is the students, teachers and the teaching and learning process in class VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Kebakkramat. Data sources come from students, teachers and the teaching and learning process. Data collection technique is conducted by using testing, observing, interviewing, document analizing. The validity techniques of the data is using triangulation techniques and data sources triangulation method. Data analysis using comparative descriptive technique and qualitative data analysis. Research procedures are spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting). The results showed that:(1) Application of model Cooperative learning type Talking Stick with the audio-visual media can enhance the creativity of student learning on the learning of Social Sciences in students of grade VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Kebakkramat. The results of the creativity study on thepre-cycle of 50,30%, then in cycle I the results of the creativity study of 71,92 %, whereas in cycle II the results of the creativity study of 81,15 %. (2) Application of model Cooperative learning type Talking Stick with the audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes in the learning of Social Sciences in students of grade VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Kebakkramat. Learning outcomes on thepre-cycle of 53,12%, then in cycle I the results of the study by 75%, whereas in cycle II the learning outcomes of 84.37%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to determine: (1) the background of the Deir Yassin events in 1948, (2) the events of Deir Yassin in 1948, (3) impact of the Deir Yassin events, (4) the relevance of the Deir Yassin events by learning of Southwest Asia II History at Historical Education Program Study. This research used historical method. Source of research data was written sources both primary and secondary. Data collection techniques used were techniques literature study conducted in various libraries. The data analysis technique used was the historical analysis techniques. The steps taken in the historical method as follows: (1) heuristic, (2) criticism, (3), interprestas, (4) historiography. The results indicate that: (1) Dier Yassin events triggered by the differences between Palestinian Arabs and Jews on the history of Palestine and the defeat of the Ottoman Turks in World War I and the ideals of the Jewish State founding by Zionists, (2) Dier Yassin events in 1948 has been planned carefully through Dallet plan. Deir Yassin massacre carried out by a sudden and cruel, (3) Deir Yassin events had a politically, socially, and economically impact for the Zionists and Palestinians, (4) Dier Yassin events in 1948 was the one of historical events that occurred in the Middle East region. Deir Yassin incident should be studied more in depth. It can be inserted as a part of Palestinian problem material in Southwest Asia II Historical Course at History Education Program Study, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University.

Abstract

The objectives of research were: (1) to find out the social-cultural background of Serat Candrarini, (2) to find out the content and the effect of Serat Candrarini in Kasunanan Surakarta Palace?s life during the reign of Paku Buwono IX, and (3) to find out the relevance of content and the effect of Serat Candrarini in Local History course in College.This research employed historical method. The data sources used particularly were primary and secondary sources. Technique of collecting data used was historical analysis one. The data analysis used historical technique.Result of this research stated: (1) the emergence of serat candrarini was due to condition of social and culture. Such as many polygamy that happened and due to people from lower class until higher class. (2) Serat Candrarini described physic, characters, and behavior of Arjuna five wives that show how the attitude and behavior of women so the marriage life maintained although she become co-wives. (3) Result of this research has a dictated aim that can be applied in polygamy household life or education, especially in collage.

Abstract

Dimas Fajar Pradika K4409019.  THE EFFECT OF STUDENT PERCEPTION ABOUT TEACHER?S PROFESSIONAL OF COMPETENCE AND INTEREST LEARNING  TO THE HISTORY LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT 11th GRADE STUDENTS OF SMA N 3 BOYOLALI SCHOOL YEAR 2012/2013. Script. Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, July 2013. The aims of this study were to investigate the effect of: (1) Perception of students about the professional competence of t history learning achievement. (2) Interest in learning the history of history learning achievement. (3) Students 'perceptions about teacher?s professional competence and interest in learning history learning achievement This research used survey method with a correlational design. The samples of research are 57 students from 4 classes of  SMA N 3 Boyolali. In taking of the samples used sample proportional cluster random sampling techniques from 117 students in population. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 IPS Boyolali a sample of 117 students taking 4 classes with as many as 57 students. Sampling technique using tenik Proportionate cluster random sampling (random class groups), The data were collected by using instruments namely documentation and questionnaire in the form of likert scale. The techniques of data analysis were correlation and regression techniques. According to the research, the researcher found: (1) The effect of students' perceptions about teacher?s professional competence of  to the history learning achievement of 11th grade students of SMA N 3 Boyolali obtained by calculation the value is its relative contribution 45,% and its effective contribution is 10,89% so the hypothesis as follows" students' perceptions about teacher?s professional competence gives positive effect to the history learning achievement of 10th grade students of SMA N 3 Boyolali?, is accepted. (2) Effect of interest to the history learning achievement of 11th students of SMA N 1 Boyolali obtained by calculation the value is its relative contribution 55% and its effective contribution is 13,31% so the hypothesis as follows "learning interest gives positive effect to the history learning achievement of 11th grade students of SMA N 1 Boyolali?, is accepted.  (3) Effect students of perception about teacher?s professional competences by with the learning interest to history learning achievement of 11th students of SMA N 3 Boyolali has its relative contribution 100% and effective contribution is 42,2% so the hypothesis as follows ?the students of perception about teacher?s competences by with learning interest gives positives contribution to the history learning achievement of 11th grade students SMA N 3 Boyolali?, is accepted. Thus, the result of the research shows that perception about teacher?s competences and the learning interest are the important variables to history learning achievement. Both of the variables gave positive effect to the history learning achievement. Keyword : students' perceptions about teacher?s professional competence, learning interest, student achievement, history learning achievement.

Abstract

The goal in this research to describe and find out: (1) the history of the establishment of the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus, (2) the structure and function of the Building complex of Sunan Kudus, (3) Historical values contained in the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus who can serve as learning resources local history, (4) the role of the Government is to facilitate Students in harnessing the complex of Sunan Kudus as learning resources local history.Form of research using qualitative, descriptive, qualitative descriptive is a way in researching an event by generating descriptive data. The data source used is the events, places, documents, and informants. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and analysis of data/documents. The sampling technique used is purposive and time sampling. This research, to find the validity of data used two techniques of triangular triangular triangular is a data and methods. Data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis, is move between three components which include the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and verification/withdrawal of the conclusion.Based on the results of this research can be drawn the conclusion: (1) the history of the establishment of the Tomb complex of Sunan Kudus is a business form of Sunan Kudus to spread islam in the Kudus City that uses how acculturation between Islamic teachings and Hindhu (2) the structure of the building complex of Sunan Kudus is composed of several buildings such as Tower, mosques and Tombs contained in one area and have their respective functions. (3) the values contained in the building complex of Sunan Kudus have much teaching in various fields including political, ideological, economic, social and cultural. (4) Kudus County Government has a role in giving facilities to the learners to utilize complex of Sunan Kudus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: (1) the background behind the founding of Santi Budaya Art Gallery, Sukoharjo, (2) the education processes taking place at Santi Budaya Art Gallery, Sukoharjo, and (3) the role of Santi Budaya Art Gallery in preserving traditional culture in Sukoharjo Regency.The research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of research is the Santi Budaya Art Gallery in Kepuh Village, Nguter Sub-District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province. The research is focused on the study of art education exposition. Data is collected by means of direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The collected data is analysed in the frame of qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Data validation is gained through triangulation of source, specifically verifying data from various sources. The mentioned sources are outcomes of observation, interview and documentation study pertaining to Santi Budaya Art Gallery in Kepuh Village, Nguter Sub-District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province.The research acquired results as follows: (1) organising dance education for any individual who wish to learn dancing in order to produce the next generation expected to be capable of preserving and acquainting dance, especially in Sukoharjo; (2) arranging dance performances aimed to maintain dance existence and entertain the community in the audience; (3) undertaking meetings with dancing experts to discuss all things related to the continuity of dancing and to keep in touch with dance artists; (4) pioneering dance studio management training in Sukoharjo, including planning, organising, motivating, conforming, evaluating and developing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the history and development of the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum, (2) the condition and management of historic objects in the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum, (3) utilization of Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum collection as instructional history media and source in SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa.This study used qualitative descriptive method, with the shape of a single case study. The data source of this research was the informant, places, events, archives, documents and historical objects Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and analysis of documents. Footage used was purposive sampling techniques derived from Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum manager, agents of history, history teacher, vice principal of curriculum, facilities and infrastructure vice principal, students, Dispora of Semarang District. The validity of the data used was triangulation techniques of data and methods. The data analysis technique used was interactive analysis, which was a process of analysis that move between the three components which include data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion.This research indicate that: (1) the history and development of the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum was built on the basic of respect for Lieutenant Isdiman and has historical value in the event of the Battle Ambarawa, (2) the condition and management of historic objects in the Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum still limited to administrative management were still modest, (3) the use Isdiman Palagan Ambarawa Museum collection as instructional history media and source of SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa adjusted to the Standards Competency and Basic Competency listed on the KTSP (Education Unit Based Curriculum).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the : ( 1 ) How is the development of political thought Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the course of his political career after the Islamic revolution of Iran; ( 2 ) How does the impact posed by the political thought Ahmadinejad against economic, social and foreign politics of Iran. This research using a method of historical research, with the procedure a heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiografi. Based on the results of of the study can be summed up as follows. First, the political thought Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about justice, even distribution,  freedom, and democracy grows and develops from university bench influenced doctrine, ideology, and thought Khomeini. Second the impact of the radical Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's thought and vocal in the field of economic, social, and political conditions in Iran making increasingly critical because of the depressed by the embargo and the isolation of Western politics is done in various aspects of life. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Understanding of history teachers and students about the values of local wisdom gotong royong in MAN 1 Surakarta; (2) Planning, implementation, constraint, and evaluation done in implementing the values of local wisdom of gotong royong in learning history of class XI IPA 2 in MAN 1 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017.This study used descriptive qualitative method. Source of data comes from informants, events and places, as well as documents. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. Validity test is done by using triangulation data and triangulation method. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results of the research show that (1) the understanding of the history teacher about the values of local wisdom gotong royong has understood the understanding of gotong royong in general, but in its application the teacher can not create the maximum learning history. While the students' understanding of the values of local wisdom gotong royong only understand the understanding of mutual cooperation in general, lack understanding of the essence of mutual cooperation; (2) Planning the implementation of the values of local wisdom gotong royong in learning history has been listed in the RPP and implemented through learning activities in the classroom and follow through daily life both in the school environment and in the dormitory environment; (3) Obstacles encountered include: (a) Less historical learning hours, (b) Student interest in history lesson, (c) When many student learning leave the lesson because there are school activities that need to be resolved, (d) Egos of students who are clever not willing to merge with students who are less intelligent; (4) Evaluation is done through the assessment of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.
