Abstract

The barbered hair in the salon is rarely reused by salon owners, only a few of them are used for economic value. Hair resistance includes resistance to heat, and has a rough texture so that it can bind more strongly. Hair extension is waste that comes from hair beauty salons in the form of haircuts that can be formed into hair extensions for certain purposes for a woman. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity and feasibility of hair extensions based on hair waste through sensory tests and favorability tests. The research method uses experiments, research objects of hair waste for the manufacture of hair extensions. data collection using observation and documentation, data analysis using descriptive percentages. The results of the hair extension research made from real hair waste were declared valid by the validator. Sensory test feasibility results from panelists with 3 beautician teachers, 2 salon owners had an average of 83.33% The feasibility results of the favorability test with 15 panelists had an average of 91.67%. The conclusion of the study is that the hair extension is declared valid by the

Abstract

Tanaman binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steenis) adalah tanaman yang tumbuh menjalar dan memiliki manfaat yang banyak dalam pengobatan. Khasiat dan manfaat tanaman binahong terdapat kandungan metabolis sekunder yang meliputi flavonoid, alcohol, saponim, dan polifenol. Secara pengamatan daun binahong dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi dan mengobati salah satu penyakit kulit yaitu jerawat. Jerawat merupakan suatu kondisi terjadinya penyumbatan kelenjar minyak pada kulit yang disertai dengan infeksi dan peradangan. Salah satu penyebab terjadinya jerawat adalah bakteri Propionibacterium acnes. Berdasarkan uji aktivitas antibakteri, salep ekstrak etanol daun binahong memiliki kemampuan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan propionbacterium acnes terlihat dengan adanya zona hambat yang terbentuk. Hasil pengukuran diameter zona hambat menunjukkan bahwa salep ekstrak etanol daun binahong memiliki daya hambat dengan kriteria kuat sampai dengan sangat kuat terhadap bakteri propionbacterium acnes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of corrective makeup on The Shape of large eyes glazed and decreased by applying eyelash sewing techniques and scotch tape. This type of research is an experimental study with a quantitative descriptive approach that uses one case study research design. This research data collection method using observation method used to obtain concrete data about the process and results of corrective makeup big eyes with eyelash sewing techniques and the application of scotch tape. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive techniques using the average calculation formula of the assessment of the questionnaire data distributed to 50 respondents and then described in paragraph form. From the results of the questionnaire containing 10 aspects of the assessment and then distributed to 50 respondents have obtained the results of the average value in the first assessment aspects of the suitability of corrective makeup on the face caused by differences in skin color or cover the existing deficiencies in the face is 4.4 with the predicate is very good, then, powder) and the third suitability of the application of false eyelashes to the use of eyelash sewing techniques to correct The Shape of the eye get an average value of 4.5 with a very good predicate. Aspects of the fourth assessment of the willingness of eyebrow makeup and the use of eye shadow color with eye shape for eye corrective makeup, the fifth compatibility of the addition of false eyelashes and blending of eyeshadow colors to correct The Shape of the eye, and the sixth compatibility of the use of scotch eye to eye corrective makeup get a value of 4.6, and in the eighth aspect of the assessment of the seriousness of lipstick color to the overall makeup, the ninth match the application of makeup to the final result of corrective eye makeup, and the tenth overall neatness of corrective makeup results get the average result of the assessment of 4.8 with a very good predicate. Abstract

Maskne is characterized by the appearance of acne in areas covered by mask, such as cheeks, chin, nose, and jaw. Maskne has become increasingly common since the Covid-19 pandemic, that caused by the highly contagious SARS-CoV-2 virus. One approach to prevent virus spreading is to wear a mask. Using masks for a long time can cause maskne due to increase in humidity and temperature, changes in sebum composition, imbalance of skin microbiota and friction with the mask. This study aims to find out the description of maskne incidence in students of Cosmetology Education at Unesa. The data were obtained through questionnaires, and found that 31 respondents were suffered from maskne. Results showed that 24 students (77.42%) had history of acne. Location of acne is on the chin (38%), cheeks (34%), nose (20%), and jaw (10%). Acne was accompanied by symptoms of redness (53%), itch (42%), and pain (5%). Almost all of respondents used medical masks (96.77%). The majority (80.65%) used masks for 4-8 hours. Majority of respondents regularly clean their faces (96.77%), routinely use skin care (100%), and cosmetics (80.65%) under the mask. Conclusion of this study is that the use of masks for a long time can cause maskne, but masks is still needed to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, so that it is necessary to pay attention related to hygiene, the duration of using masks, using non-comedogenic skin care, to the use of cosmetics that should be limited.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the technique of sewing eyelashes on asymmetric eyes for Minang traditional bridal makeup, and 2) find out the results of make-up using eyelash sewing techniques on asymmetric eyes for Minang traditional bridal makeup. This research method uses quantitative descriptive with a quasi-experimental research design with a one shoot case study approach. The research instrument used was observation with a total of 30 observers including 6 expert panelists and 24 trained panelists. The results of this study were obtained, including the application of eyelash sewing techniques to asymmetric eyes reaching 100%. The results of the application of the eyelash sewing technique on asymmetric eyes for Minang traditional bridal make up got the following scores: Neatness of eyelash sewing technique with a score of 3.76, Smoothness of eye makeup with a score of 3.83, Symmetry of eye makeup with a score of 3.4 The overall makeup compatibility with a score of 3.63 and the suitability of eye makeup with the choice of clothing colors with a score of 3.83.Keywords: Eyelash Sewing Technique, Asymmetric Eyes, Minang Traditional Bride

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengkaji perlindungan hukum yang relevan bagi konsumen yang dirugikan akibat penggunaan produk kosmetik yang mengandung bahan berbahaya, serta tanggung jawab hukum pengusaha terhadap konsumen yang merasa berada pada posisi yang lebih lemah. Metode penelitian penulisan artikel ilmiah ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum baku sehubungan dengan UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. Hasil penyelidikan ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan kosmetik yang peredarannya mengandung bahan berbahaya telah melanggar undang-undang perlindungan konsumen, antara lain Pasal 4 (a), Pasal 7 (d) dan Pasal 8 (d). Dalam hal pertanggungjawaban, pengusaha yang menjual kosmetik dengan bahan berbahaya harus bertanggung jawab penuh berdasarkan ketentuan Pasal 19 Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen.

Abstract

Abstract Trend Korea saat ini banyak menghiasi media digital sehingga hal yang berbau Korea menjadi menarik untuk konsumsi. Salah satunya produk kecantikan. Dengan memiliki kulit yang bersih dan mulus layaknya artis Korea Selatan merupakan impian semua orang. Itulah alasan mengapa skincare asal Korea Selatan sangat booming di Indonesia. Hal ini juga diikuti dengan system pemasarana seperti kemunculan beauty vlogger menjadikan masyarakat semakin mudah untuk mengetahui produk skincare Korea apa saja yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang Pengaruh Klaim Korea Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen Pada Skincare. Data dan metode yang dilakuka dalam penelitian ini melalui metode Metode pada p?n?litian ini menggunakan p?nd?katan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian ?xplanatory r?s?arch. Hasil penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada beauty vlogger dan keputusan pembelian yang menjadi faktor paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini agar dapat meningkatkan minat untuk menggunakan produk skincare korea, dan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi perusahaan untuk melihat kebutuhan konsumen.   Consumer education is very important for a consumer in carrying out daily activities. As a beauty professional, consumer education is important because you use products not only for yourself but also as ingredients when providing services to clients. Skincare is a product that is increasingly developing nowadays, every day the existing trends will continue to change so smart consumers are needed to be able to consume these products. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh citra merek terhadap Minat Beli pada produk kecantikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif verifikatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Nonprobability Sampling dengan responden berjumlah 135. Data dianalisis menggunakan path analysis dengan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan hubungan antara citra merek dan pengaruh keputusan pembelian memiliki koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,498 dan mempunyai tingkat hubungan yang sedang dan searah karena nilai positif, pengaruh parsial citra merek terhadap minat beli adalah sebesar 24,7% ini menunjukkan bahwa citra merek memiliki pengaruh positif dengan minat beli, pengaruh parsial citra merek terhadap minat beli adalah sebesar 18,2% ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh merek terhadap minat beli memiliki pengaruh positif, Pengaruh simultan citra merek terhadap minat beli sebesar 43,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel citra merek dan electronic word of mouth memiliki pengaruh yang cukup kuat terhadap minat beli produk kecantikan. Namun masih ada faktor variabel lain yang tidak diteliti sebesar 56,9%. Kata Kunci : citra merek, Produk Kecantikan, Minat beli

Abstract

Since ancient times, Indonesian women have known various ways to decorate themselves using traditional methods. but it has changed since the modernization of Indonesia, the meaning of beauty and cosmetics is linked to western countries. Although cosmetics that are in great demand by Indonesian women come from the West, local cosmetics can still be developed, such as Sariayu Martha Tilaar. Martha Tilaar is one of Indonesia's women entrepreneurs. Martha Tilaar founded a beauty company under the brand Sariayu, which uses ingredients from Indonesian nature. The more developed makeup service companies in Indonesia, the more competition that players in this industry must face. Therefore, many aspiring makeup artists (MUAs) are still confused about what to focus on or what to do in order for clients to see their makeup services and survive in the competition of the makeup business world. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the success of MUA Indonesia matches in managing the makeup service business. The purpose of makeup itself is to use cosmetic means and ingredients to make up or change the original shape with the aim of beautifying or covering imperfections so that the face looks perfect. Makeup actually has almost the same meaning as makeup. Makeup is the activity of changing the appearance of the original form actually with the help of cosmetic ingredients and tools. The term makeup is more often referred to changing the shape of the face, although actually the whole body can be decorated. Makeup is an important part of the show. Any event where someone performs on stage almost certainly requires makeup. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), make up consists of two words, namely make up and make up. Tata means rules, regulations, arrangements and ways of organization, while make-up is the decoration of something.
