Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Course Review Horay Method with Graphic Media in Improving Social Science Learning for the Fifth Grade Students of SDN Banyuurip in the Academic Year of 2014/2015. The purposes of this research was improving social science learning for the fifth grade students of elementary school using Course Review Horay method with graphic media. This research was collaborative classroom action research. It was conducted in three cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection on each cycle. Subjects of this research were students in the fifth grade of SDN Banyuurip, consisting of 18 students. Source of data were obtained from students, teachers, colleagues, researchers and documents. The techniques of collecting data were test, observation, interview, and documentation. This research results show that of Course Review Horay method with graphic media can improving social science learning on the fifth grade students of SDN Banyuurip in The academic Year of 2014/2015.Keywords: Course Review Horay, graphic media, Social Science learningAbstrak: Penggunaan Metode Course Review Horay dengan Media Grafis dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas V SDN Banyuurip Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Banyuurip berjumlah 18 siswa. Data berasal dari siswa, guru, teman sejawat, peneliti, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Course Review Horay dengan media grafis dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas V SDN Banyuurip tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci: Course Review Horay, media grafis, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Scientific Approach Using Concrete Media to Improve Critical Thinking Natural Science Learning at The Fifth Grade of Elementary School. The objective of this research is to improve critical thinking Natural Science learning through the application of scientific approach using concrete media. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) that was conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Ngasinan in the academic year of 2015/2016, totaling 26 students consisting of 15 male students and 11 female students. The results showed that the application of scientific approach using concrete media can increase critical thinking Natural Science learning at the fifth grade of Elementary School. Keywords: Scientific, Concrete Media, Critical Thinking, Natural Science Abstrak: Penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik dengan Media Konkret dalam Peningkatan Berpikir Kritis Pembelajaran IPA tentang Cahaya pada Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis pembelajaran IPA tentang cahaya dalam penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan media konkret. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Ngasinan tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 26 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Abstract

Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses dan Hasil Belajar IPA melalui Pendekatan Saintifik dengan multimedia pada Siswa Kelas V SDN 2 Kalirancang Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan (1) keterampilan proses sains dan (2) hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif melalui dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kalirancang yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik yang dengam multimedia yang dilaksanakan sesuai langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kalirancang tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Kata Kunci: keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar, pendekatan saintifik, multimedia

Abstract

Abstract: THE USE OF DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL WITH CONCRETE MEDIA IN ENHANCEMENT OF LEARNING RESULTS ABOUT LIFE PROPERTIES IN STUDENT CLASS V SD NEGERI KALIPUTIH IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2016/2017. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps of learning discovery model with concrete media; (2) improving science learning outcomes about the properties of light; (3) to describe the constraints and solutions of using discovery learning model with concrete media in improving science learning outcomes about light properties. This study uses collaborative classroom action research. The subjects of this study are the students of class V which amounted to 20 students. Data collection techniques used: observation, interviews, and tests. Data validity was using source triangulation and engineering triangulation. Data analysis is using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the application of discovery learning model with concrete media can improve science learning result about light properties.Keywords: Discovery, concrete media, science learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Application of CTL approach by Using Concrete Objects in Science Student Learning Improvement 5TH Grade SDN Patemon in Academic Year 2012/2013. This study aimed to describe:(1) the implementation of CTL approach with concrete objects in an increase in media science,(2) constraints and applications solutions CTL approach with concrete objects media in increasing students learning science. Fifth grade students of SDN Patemon consist of 30 students. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collecting methods are collected through observation, interview, test, and documentation. The validity of data using the source triangulation. The data Analysis is used by this research in kuantitatif and kualitatif data analysis. Results of this study indicate that the application of this approach to media CTL concrete objects can improve science teaching fifth grade students of SDN Patemon Academic Year 2012/2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) penerapan pendekatan CTL dengan media benda konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPA, (2) kendala dan solusi penerapan pendekatan CTL dengan media benda konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPA. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN Patemon sejumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) the effect of reading skills on performance in solving mathematical story question of V grade of all Elementary Schools at  District of Somagede Academic Year 2010/2011;(2) the effect of students' interest in mathematic subject toward ability to solve mathematical story question of V grade and (3) the effect of students' reading skills and interest in mathematics together toward ability to solve mathematical story question of V grade. The method used is correlational survey method with quantitative approach. The population is all students of  V grade of Elementary School in District of Somagede, Regional of  Banyumas amount 22 schools. Samples were taken by random sampling technique of multi-stages of four schools that were divided into two areas namely highland areas and plains. The data was collected technique with test and survey techniques. Data analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that: (1) There is effect on the ability of reading skills to solve mathematical story question  of IV grade (2) There is effect on student interest in mathematic subject toward the  ability to solve mathematical story question   (3) There is effect of students' reading skills and interest in mathematics together toward ability to  solve mathematical story question Key words: Effect, Reading Skills, Interests Subject, Mathematical Story Question. Abstrak: Pengaruh Keterampilan Membaca Dan Minat Belajar Matematika Terhadap Kemampuan  Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Matematika Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Di Kecamatan Somagede Tahun 2010/2011, Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan: (1) Adanya  pengaruh keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V SD Negeri Se Kecamatan Somagede Tahun Pelajaran 2010/ 2011; (2) Adanya pengaruh minat belajar matematika terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V  (3) Adanya pengaruh keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar matematika bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survai korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2010/2011, sejumlah 22 sekolah. Sampel diambil dengan teknik  multi stages random sampling sejumlah 4 sekolah yang dibagi menjadi 2 wilayah yaitu wilayah dataran tinggi dan dataran rendah. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada  Pengaruh signifikan keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V SD Negeri Se Kecamatan Somagede (2) Ada  Pengaruh signifikan minat belajar matematika terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika Kelas V dan (3) Adanya  pengaruh yang signifikan keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar matematika bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Keterampilan Membaca, Minat Belajar, Soal Cerita Matematika

Ulfi Rahmatikasari1, Imam Suyanto2, Warsiti3 e-mail: rahmaulfi@yahoo.com 1 Mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS 2, 3 Dosen PGSD FKIP UNS   Abstract: The Application of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Type in Increasing Mathematic About Fraction Number Learning 5th Grade Student State Elementary School. The purpose of this research was increasing fraction number learning in 5th grade of state elementary school. This research was colaborative classroom action research. This research conducted in 2 cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data source was taken from  observer, 5th grade students and 5th grade teacher. Data collecting techniques were observation, test, questionaire, and documentation. The validity of data source used a triangulation methods and data source. The learning has been increased from cycle I to cycle II. The percentage of the teacher teach by applied TAI type in cycle I was 68,72% and cycle II was 85,85%. The students learning process cycle I was 66,60% and cycle II was 85,25%. The students mastery learning percentage reached 88,46% in cycle I and 87,18% in cycle II. There were obstacles on the application of TAI type and it has been found appropriate solutions. The conclusion of this research that the application of TAI type can increase fraction number learning 5th grade elementary school. Abstrak: Penerapan Tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Matematika Tentang Bilangan Pecahan Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan  pembelajaran bilangan pecahan siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, tes, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data dan sumber data. Pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I hingga siklus II. Persentase guru mengajar dengan menerapkan tipe TAI pada siklus I 68,72% dan siklus II 85,85%. Proses belajar siswa pada siklus I 66,60% dan siklus II 85,25%. Ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 88,46% pada siklus I dan 87,18% pada siklus II. Dalam penerapan tipe TAI terdapat kendala dan telah ditemukan solusi yang tepat. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran bilangan pecahan siswa kelas V SD.   Kata kunci: tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), pembelajaran, bilangan pecahan.

Abstract: Implementing Inquiry Methode By Using Concrete Objects Media To Improve  Dimensional Figures Learning Of The Fourth Grade Students Of Sdn 1 Bumirejo In The Academic Year 2012/2013. This research aims to describe the steps, the problems, and the solutions of inquiry method by using concrete objects media to improve dimensional figures learning of the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Bumirejo in the academic year 2012/2013.The research design used in this research is an action research which was conducted in three cycles. Every cycle includes four activities are planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Analysis technique of data used includes reduction of data, data presentation, and conclusing or verification. Based on the research of the study concludes that implementing inquiry methode by using concrete objects media with precise, can to improve  dimensional figures learning of the fourth grade students of Sdn 1 Bumirejo in the academic year  2012/2013.   Keyword: Inquiri method, concrete objects media, dimensional figures Abstrak: Penggunaan Metode Inquiri dengan Media Benda Konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Bangun Ruang Siswa Kelas IV SDN 1 Bumirejo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan langkah, kendala, dan solusi metode inquiri dengan media benda konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran bangun ruang siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Bumirejo tahun pelajaran 2012/ 2013. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Diah Putri Lestari1, Triyono2, Joharman3 Universitas Sebelas Maret, Jln Kepodang 67A Telp (0287)381169 Kebumen diahputri433@yahoo.co.id ABSTRACT The purposes of research are: (1) describe the study difficulty by student in stacked addition whith the technique of saving, (2) describe the way of having evercome each kind of the study difficulty of addition operation with the technique of saving. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The subject is the student of the first grade of State elementary School 3 Panjer. The technique of data collecting observation, interview, and test. The result of research the study difficulity which has not understood symbol mathematics the comprehension of place value, the use of wrong process, calculation and has not been fluent in language and reading. The way of having overcome is using concrete media and enough exercise in doing saving technique addition. Conclusion is hasn?t understood the symbol mathematics, the comprehension of place value, the use of wrong process, calculation and has not been fluent in language and reading.   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian: (1) mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar siswa pada penjumlahan bersusun dengan teknik menyimpan, (2) mendeskripsikan cara mengatasi setiap jenis kesulitan belajar operasi penjumlahan dengan teknik menyimpan. Penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek siswa kelas I SDN 3 Panjer. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian belum memahami simbol matematika, pemahaman nilai tempat, penggunaan proses keliru, perhitungan dan belum lancar dalam bahasa dan membaca. Cara mengatasinya menggunakan media konkret dan latihan cukup dalam melakukan penjumlahan teknik menyimpan. Simpulan penelitian belum memahami simbol dalam matematika, pemahaman nilai tempat, penggunaan proses keliru, perhitungan, dan belum lancar dalam bahasa dan membaca.     Kata kunci: kesulitan belajar, penjumlahan, teknik menyimpan.

This research aimed to describe the procedures the mind map model, determine of mind map model can improving social studies learning, and describes the problems and  solutions mind map model in the fourth grade elementary school. Research conducted three cycles, each cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research were elementary school students in fourth grade 2 with 29 students. The data source from document, students, and peers. Data collection techniques are tests, observation, interview techniques, and documentation. Analysis of the data used by the qualitative and quantitative analysis. Percentage of completeness student before action is 0%, after execution of action in the  first cycle increased to 41,4%, the second cycle increased to 62,1% and the third cycle increased to 86,2%. The results indicated that the use of the mind map model, can improve learning social studies for the fourth grade elementary school. Keywords: Mind Map, Learning Social Studies   Abstrak: Penggunaan Model Mind Map dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaan IPS Siswa Kelas IV sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur penggunaan model mind map, mengetahui apakah penggunaan model mind map dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS, dan mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penggunaan model mind map di kelas IV SD. Penelitian dilaksanakan tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Darmakradenan dengan 29 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari dokumen, siswa, dan teman sejawat. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Persentase ketuntasan siswa  sebelum tindakan adalah 0%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan siklus I meningkat menjadi 41,4%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 62,1% dan siklus III meningkat kembali menjadi 86,2%. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan model mind map dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.   Kata Kunci: Mind Map, Pembelajaran IPS.
