Abstract

The Karo culture has many customs, one of which is custom built and is a unique custom in Karo culture. Adat rebuilds a place of direct communication between several places, one of which is between daughter-in-law and in-laws. Communication is very necessary for the means to deliver the intent and purpose so that human conversation can be done well. Communication between people as social communication or community communication is only because people who communicate with the community. Cultural ways of life that develop and belong to groups of people and are passed down from generation to generation. Cultures develop from many uncomplicated ones, including religious and political systems, customs, languages, tools, clothing, buildings, and works of art. Intercultural communication in communication between people of different cultures between people who have different beliefs, values, or ways of behaving in a culture.This study aims to analyze community perceptions on the meaning of customs that were rebuilt in the Protestant Batak Karo Church, Bida Ayu Tanjung Piayu Batam. The report of this thesis will also examine the meaning of adat isitiadat rebuilt in the lives of important Karo people in the interaction of the community of Ptotestan Batak Karo Church, Tanjung Piayu Batam. At the end of the thesis, we will discuss how to use customary communication in the current era.

Abstract

Business actors rarely do not know about prohibitions in advertising, but there are still business actors who commit violations related to this and there are still business actors who are incomplete in providing information so that there are many misleading advertisements circulating regarding business actors' products. In this study, it is more directed to the responsibility of business actors due to the influence of misleading advertisements. Therefore, the authors are interested in taking the title of juridical analysis of the responsibility of business actors due to the influence of misleading advertisements. The objectives described in this study are as follows; first, knowing the form of responsibility of business actors due to the influence of misleading advertising; second, knowing the efforts made by consumers in the event of a loss to the final consumer. The research method is the type of normative legal research or can also be said to be a literature study. The results of the study, the forms of accountability of business actors to final consumers include; Contractual liability, the principle of responsibility due to default; Fault liability, the principle of responsibility for errors; Criminal liability, the principle of absolute responsibility.

Abstract

The documentary film The Act Of Killing "Jagal" requires the meaning of the sadism of the massacre and its implicit and explicit messages, whether seen from the dramatic literary, language and artistic aspects. This documentary film was released in 2012 which tells of the sadism of the massacre carried out by Anwar Congo and his friends as anti-PKI people against people accused of being communists, Chinese ethnicity, and intellectuals in less than one year, after the PKI was accused by the TNI as perpetrators of GS30 in 1965 in Indonesia, right in the area of Deli Serdang Medan. This study aims to determine and describe the representation of the sadism of the massacres in each scene of the massacre in the documentary film The Act Of Killing "Jagal" which is reviewed by the semiotic triangle meaning theory of Charles Sander Peirce. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, to answer this research. , the author uses a qualitative method with Peirce's semiotic approach. The object of research is the video recording of the documentary film the acr of killing "Jagal" and the unit of analysis is the pieces of the image in the film which are believed to represent the sadism of the massacre. Based on the interpretation results using Peirce's semotic approach. The icons, indexes and symbols in the film the act of killing “Jagal” tell about how the violence perpetrated by the perpetrators of the anti-murder of PKI members and the heroic attitude of the perpetrators towards the killings that were committed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the credibility of the Batam Pos media covarage on the perception of Covid-19 of the Batam city. Media coverage over the past few years has been filled with news related to Covid-19 or the corona virus. This deadly virus is so interesting to discuss and has given a different perception among the public. The research method used is a quantitative method with the type of survey research. Based on the results obtained from data processing, there is an influence of Batam Pos media credibility on the perception of Covid-19 of the people of Batam city based on t-test analysis, this presents table t count > t table 7.073 > 0.155, which means there is a significant effect at a significant level of 10%. The influence of the credibility of the Batam Pos media on the perception of Covid-19 of the people of the city of Batam is evidenced by the results of the 33.8% analysis of the impact of Batam Pos media credibility.

Abstract

This study aims to provide empircal evidence on the efect of audit fee and audit rotation on audit quality. The population of this study are all rnanufacturing cornpanies listed on the Indonesia annual report for the 2016-2020 period. The rnethod of detemining the sarnple using purposive sarnpling method so as to obtain a sample of 35 manufacturing companies. The data collection rnethod used non-partcipant observation rnethod by downloading data from the oficial website of the Indonesian annual report. Data analsis used logistic regresion technique with IBM SPSS 25 application. The results of hypothesis testing were audit fees had a positive efect on audit quality, while audit rotation had no effect on audit quality.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of the level of income and operating costs on net income in companies listed on the Indonesia Stoct Exchange in the period 2015 to 2019. The population used in this studt were 33 companies and the sample in this study were 13 companies that were taken using non-probability sampling techniques, namely income partially has a significant effect on net income, namely tcount of 2,835> 2.026 ttable, but operating costs do significantly influence net income, namely tcount of 2,527 > ttable 2,026. Based on the results of the F test research, it is found the the level of income and operational costs simultaneuously have a significant effect on net income by showing the value of Fcount 13,315 >3.25 Ftable. In this study, the coefficient of determination shows that net income can be explained by the level of income and operating costs of 68.6%, while the remaining 31.4% of net income is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Then an agreement was concluded with shared ownership. The prenuptial contract is a contract that is concluded before the marriage of two individuals (betrothed couple). Article 29 of Law no. 1 of 1974 provided for the Prenuptial Agreement. However, the Prenuptial Agreement has many changes which are now in the interests of society and are inconvenient since Decision No. 69/PUU-XIII/2015 has been issued by the Constitutional Court. The question revised in this theory is: what is the legal effect of a marital prenuptial contract on the basis of Decision No 69/PUU-XIII/2015 of the Constitutional Court. Normative legal research is the methodology that is utilized here. The material source of the law is in the form of books and law material from primary law and secondary law. The data analyzes utilized in this study are qualitatively and descriptively developed for the processing and analysis of data. According to the findings of this research, there are differences between the Prenuptial Agreement provided for in Article 29 of Law No. 1 of 1974 and the Prenuptial Agreement provided for by Decision No. 79/PUU-XIII/2015.

Abstract

Banks are very important for the economy of a country so that the performance of a bank to generate profitability is prioritized, the better the performance of a company, the higher the resulting profitability. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operating Income Operating Expenses, Loan Deposit Ratio on the profitability of banks listed on the IDX. This study uses secondary data with a company population of 43 banking companies listed on the IDX from 2016 to 2020 and the number of samples taken based on the purposive sampling method is 8 companies with total of 40 data. The data tested using the SPSS 20 program. The results of the test show that the Capital Adequacy Ratio has no significant effect on Return On Assets, so H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, Operating Expenses Operating income and Loan Deposit Ratio has significant effects on Return on Assets, so H2 and H3 are accepted, H0 is rejected and Capital Adequacy Ratio, Operational Cost of Operating Income, Loan Deposit Ratio have a significant simultaneous effect on Return On Assets, so H4 is accepted, H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research is to study relationship between the CR, NPM, ROE and DER of realestate companies listed on the IDX from 2016 to 2020. Determined to meet thestandard objectives of the research, and extracted 70 data samples. 14 companies.The data is processed form the 25th generation SPSS statistical software. Then usemultiple linear regression, simultaneous, partial, and certainty test to test thehypothesis. Whether the CR, ROE or NPM has a substantial impact on the stock price,while the CR, ROE and NPM have a smaller effect. After a joint test, all the factorshave a substantial impact on the stock price. The R-squared is 0.336, or 33.6%,indicating that the impact of CR, NPM, ROE, and DER on the stock price is 33.6%, andthe rest of the factors are 66.4% Variable influence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the liquidity ratio and leverage ratio to profitability at PT. Bentop Legion Yakin that located in Batam which was held from January 2016 to December 2020. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between quick ratio and ROA, DAR with ROA, DER with ROA and all role quick ratio, DAR and DER with ROA. The data used in analyzing this research is a sample which using purposive sampling technique as data collection method, the data method used in analyzing this research is quantitative analysis and research methods with the population in the study are 60 data and data analysis techniques used with the Statistics Package program to Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25 which were used to provide a clear description of the relationship of all variables. From the research methods used in this study, it can be seen that this study shows that the quick ratio and DER variables can partially affect significantly to the ROA and all roles together will impact on assets.
