Abstract

The country of Indonesia is a developing country consisting of thousands is islandsand a wide varityof cultures and abundant natural resources,to develop a country that requires no small amount of costs so that revenues or state revenues really need to be increased, one way to increase state income is from the taxation sector. The greater the tax revenue received, the greater the state’s income, to improve people’s welfare, prosperity and to the effect of service, inpection, and tax sanctions on the level of the compliance of individual taxpayers registered at the KPP Pratama Batam Selatan. The analytical method used in this study is quantitative, the data collection technique is by distributing questionnairesto individual taxpayes registered at the KPP Pratama Batam Selatan totalyng 307,006 taxpayers, the taking at sample af 100 respondents as the object of research. Based on the results of the research service of 12,262 and a tax of 4,895, greater than the table of the table (1,665), which means influential on the rate of compulsory tax, while the examination of -3,582 smaller from the table which means no influence on the service of compulsory tax. Based on the results of the f test, it is known that simultaneously and together service, checks and tax witnesess have a significant effect on the level of personal taxpayer compliance at the KPP Pratama Batam Selatan.

Abstract

The quality i of products, prices and promotions provided by the company are in accordance with the desires of consumers in deciding to purchase these products. PT.ATP DZAFIRAH JAYA MAKMUR is one of the perfume refill providers in Batam The best quality products, suitable prices and promotions that continue to be carried out by salsa perfume in accordance with what consumers need can influence purchasing decisions on salsa perfume refill in Batam City. But lately there are still consumers who feel unsure of the product, but there are also some who have begun to understand it. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price and promotion on purchasing decisions on salsa perfume refill in Batam City. This study uses multiple linear i regression i analysis. The number of samples was 100 respondents using a random sampling technique Probability sampling Simultaneous.of these results it can be seen that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions of 0.001 <0.05, prices have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions of 0.020 ​

Abstract

Instagram is an application that has its own appeal from several other social media which makes this application much in demand by its users around the world. The Instagram application has various features that can support its users' existence, such as sharing photos, taking videos, applying digital filters and other video effect features. The various features provided to users, especially among teenagers, make their reason for using Instagram so that it appears to exist in the eyes of others so that without realizing it will make users addicted to using the Instagram application. The research objective is to find out how the self-existence of the Tunas Baru Jin Seung High School students in Batam City in the use of Instagram social media. The type of research method used is qualitative research methods using purposive sampling data collection techniques. The data analysis technique in this study used an interactive model by Miles and Hubermen. The results of this study found that the self-existence of the Tunas Baru Jin Seung High School Students was only a personal pleasure in entertaining themselves by watching videos, providing information and seeking information.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of facilities and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT BPR Indobaru Finansia in Batam. This study uses a quantitative approach and nonprobability sampling techniques with purposive sampling method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was filled in by 171 respondents. Data analysis used SPSS version 25. The results of the facility variable test were obtained with tcount (6.565)> t table (1.653) and a significance value of 0.000 f table 3.05 and a significant value of 0.000 or less than 0.05 (F. Sig 0.000 <α 0.005). So it can be concluded that the facilities and service quality partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT BPR Indobaru Finansia in Batam. The test results of the coefficient of determination have 51.3%. The remaining 48.7% is influenced by other variables not in this study.

Abstract

The business world is currently growing very rapidly because of the impact between businesses that are very competitive in showing the existence of a company or other business institution. Various methods are carried out in achieving the vision and mission of a company, one of the most important of course is human resources . The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of reward and effectiveness of training on employee performance at PT BPR Sejahtera Batam. Sampling techniques in this study is a sampling technique saturated with the number of population is all employees of PT BPR Sejahtera Batam, namely as many as 106 respondents. The data was obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires online throughout the respondents. Data quality test in this study using reliability and validity test, classical assumptions on this study using normality test, multicolinearity and heteroskedastiity and determination coefficient analysis (R2). While the hypothesis test in this study uses t test and F test using SPSS program software version 25. The results showed that the reward and effectiveness of training had a partial and simultaneous positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at PT BPR Sejahtera Batam.

Abstract

Research objectives: To determine the quality of employee service related to the image of the company Indomaret, and to determine the quality of employee service affects the image of the company. This research method uses a quantitative approach. By spreading 345 respondents with random sampling method. Distribution of questionnaires conducted to consumers who have experienced the services provided by employees. The analysis in this study used the validity test, reliability test, normality test, correlation test, regression test using SPSS. The benefit of this research is that it can provide information about the quality of employee service to the company's image, and can be used as a reference to complement future researchers. The results of the research on the quality of employee service have an effect on company image.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the performance of the Population and Civil Registration Agency of Batam especially in implementing the effectiveness and the efficiency of public service of Electronic ID Card (e-KTP). Data shows the obstacles in public service of e-KTP such as the number of blank e-KTP are still lack, allegations of maladministration, suspicion of prolonged delays in issuing e-KTP. It also reported on the Top Three category of public services cases in Batam in 2019. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collected by using direct interviews, direct observation and documentation (books and journals) and uses Spradley method by determining the key informants continued by interviewing and completed by reporting. The results of this study conclude that the performance of the Population and Civil Registration Agency of Batam is good but still need improvements for better public service, especially for e-KTP. It is assessed based on Dwiyanto's performance indicator theory, such as productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, accountability and Pasolong’s theory that describe the factors that influence the performance of public organizations such as ability, willingness, energy, technology, compensation, clarity of objectives, and security.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity (CR) and solvency (DAR) on financial performance (ROA) in the ceramic, porcelain and glass sub-sector, cement sub-sector and metal sub-sector and the like. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis which includes classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of the study can be concluded as follows: 1) The results of multiple linear regression, namely Y = 0.088 + 0.005CR – 0.09DAR + e, CR has a positive effect on ROA while DAR has a negative effect on ROA. 2) The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination state that CR and DAR are able to explain the ROA variable by 38%, while 62% can be used as other variables that are not discussed in this study. 3) The results of the f test state that liquidity (CR) and solvency (DAR) simultaneously have a significant effect on financial performance (ROA). 4) The results of the t test state that liquidity (CR) has no and insignificant effect on financial performance (ROA) while solvency (DAR) has a significant and significant effect on financial performance (ROA).

Abstract

Social media is used to disseminate a variety of information that supports meeting the public's information needs. The simple use of Instagram allows users to reach their needs or purpose of surfing. Instagram account @Visit_Singapore is one of those accounts that uses Instagram social media to provide information. Instagram account @Visit_Singapore spreads information about Singapore tourism. In this study, the researchers took the population of followers on the @Visit_Singapore Instagram account. A non-probability technique was used to select 348 individuals as the sample. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of the @Visit_Singapore Instagram account in meeting the follower tourist information needs. This type of study is a quantitative study and one that determines some of the hypotheses to be tested. The survey method is a method of distributing link questionnaires to followers of @Visit_Singapore Instagram account through direct message function. Test results with t meaning less than 0.000 (0.000 <0.05) mean that the variable effect of the Instagram account @Visit_Singapore is effective in meeting the follower tourist information needs.

Abstract

Tax is already familiar and have become one of the provenance for country income, which is relied upon to become the buffer composition of the country's construction for realize the welfare of all indonesian people. However, the expected compliance rate is not comparable with what is realized and not 100% of registered taxpayers perform tax reporting. This riset was conduct to find the effect and significance of tax penalty and tax knowledge to tax compliance at KPP Pratama Batam Selatan. This study used purposive sampling technique with Slovin formula and an error tolerance of 5%, so got 400 respondents. The data was obtained through questionnaires and used SPSS application. The results is by partially or simultaneously that tax penalty and variable tax knowledge have positive influence and significant to taxpayer compliance. For X1, it is justified by tcount (4,476) > ttable (1,966), and significance’s value is 0,000 < 0,05. For X2, it is justified by tcount (4,480) > ttable (1,966), and the significance’s value is same with X1. In addition, the both variables was declared have positive effect and significant for Y variable, justified by the value of Fcount (179,772) > Ftable (3,02) with significance’s value 0,000 < 0,05.
