Abstract

Consumptive behavior is the act of consuming an item or service excessively with high intensity that tends toprioritize wants over needs. The study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, e-money usage, and selfcontrol on the consumptive behavior of accounting students in Batam city. The total population was 1,354accounting students with a sample of 93 accounting students. This study uses a quantitative approach with simplerandom sampling technique using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires online using googleform. The data in this study were processed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software version26. The data analysis technique in this study used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test andhypothesis testing. The results of the t test research explain that financial literacy and the use of e-money partiallyhave no effect on the consumptive behavior of accounting students. Self-control partially affects the consumptivebehavior of accounting students. The results of the F test research explain that financial literacy, e-money usage,self-control simultaneously have a significant effect on the consumptive behavior of accounting students with apercentage of 17.9% and the remaining 82.1% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

variables Along with the development of capital needs at the present time has brought bankers into anera of very strict competition to challenge capital seekers as customers. The aim of this study is to lookat the influence of financial literacy variables (X1), quality of service (X2) and credit procedures (X3)on credit decisions. (Y). This research uses a quantitative approach, using a survey method, where thedata collection method is carried out directly from the source. The population used in this study is BPRCustomer Barelang Independent and BPR Fund Makmur registered with the Financial ServicesAuthority (OJK) of Batam City during the year 2023 with a sample number of 184 people. The resultsof the research were demonstrated through the T-Test, the financial literacy variable recorded in partdid not significantly affect the credit decision of the customer of BPR Kota Batam. The service qualityvariable and the credit procedure have a partial influence on the customer's credit decision. TheAdjusted R Square determination coefficient is 0.295 or 29.5%, which means that financial literacy,quality of service and credit procedures are at 29.5% presentation, while the remaining 70.5% areinfluenced by other

Abstract

Productive employees with good work results will certainly make the company better. However, creatingproductive and high-quality employees is certainly not an easy matter for a company, where the companymust of course think about the best strategy to stimulate work enthusiasm. Many factors can influence anemployee's productivity, one of which is work discipline, work rotation and work stress. This research isquantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of the Department Detection, LineTPMI and SMD APD at PT Excelitas Technologies Batam, totaling 113 people using a saturated samplingtechnique. Based on the results of statistical tests, it is known that the variables of work discipline, workrotation, work stress and work productivity are normally distributed, where multicollinearity andheteroscedasticity do not occur in the independent variables. The results of the t-test show that the workdisciplines partially no effect on work productivity with a significance rate of 0.721 > 0.05. Work rotationvariable is partially no effect on work productivity with significance levels 0.293 > 0.05. Work stressvariable partially significantly affect on work productivity with significance levels Working environment,work discipline and work stress simultaneously affect employee performance with significance levels 0.001< 0.005. Work disciplines, work rotation, and work stress simultaneously affect on work productivity withsignificance levels 0.001 < 0.005.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain evidence that can influence for application in e-samsat, Tax Employee Service, And Tax Sunctions on Tax Payer Compliance paying vehicle tax in Batam City. 100 responders served as the study’s sample. Data was gathered via a questionnaire. Several research techniques are applied to fulfill the goal of the research including and descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reability test,test classical assumption (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), multiple regression analysis, hipotesys test (t test, f test, coefficient determination test). The result of this study showed that the influence application of e-samsat, Tax Employee Service and tax sanctions have effect dan signifikan on tax compliance paying vehicle tax in Batam City.

This study looks into the legal implications of police service delays under civil law, with an emphasis on protecting Indonesian residents' rights. Delays in police services can have serious consequences for citizens' rights and safety, necessitating a thorough investigation of the legislative structure controlling such situations. Abstract

Penindasan di media sosial, termasuk platform TikTok, telah menjadi isu mendesak dalam konteks digital modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola dan dampak psikologis dari bullying yang dialami oleh pengguna TikTok, khususnya korban bullying. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan, analisis isi, dan wawancara terhadap korban bullying. Temuannya menunjukkan bahwa jenis konten yang rentan terhadap perundungan adalah konten yang menonjolkan perbedaan individu. Dampak psikologis dari penindasan mencakup stres, kecemasan, dan depresi, yang memengaruhi perilaku online dan kesejahteraan mental korban. Kesimpulannya, penanganan penindasan yang efektif di TikTok diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan online yang aman dan positif bagi semua pengguna. Kata Kunci: bullying, TikTok, media sosial, dampak psikologis, kesejahteraan mental.

Abstract

In the context of a rule of law, the presence of firearms in civil society is a complex and sensitive issue. Ownership of firearms by civilians can pose a significant threat to the security and stability of the country. So far the regulations governing the presence of firearms in the hands of civil society have not been seen to provide maximum results, as the supervision and control of firearms is still very loose, causing concern among the community if it is related to the context of a legal state which guarantees that the rights of the community will be protected by the law itself. This research aims to analyze the legal framework that regulates the urgency of ownership of firearms by civil society in the context of a rule of law state. The research method used is normative research by analyzing legal documents, including constitutions, laws, regulations and court decisions regarding firearms ownership. The research results show that the urgency of owning firearms for civil society in the context of a rule of law is strongly influenced by considerations of public security, human rights and social justice. Although some states may allow firearm ownership as part of a constitutional right, this research highlights the need for strict regulation and effective law enforcement to ensure that firearm ownership does not threaten the safety and well-being of society as a whole.

Abstract

The sovereignty dispute over the Sipadan-Ligitan islands between Indonesia and Malaysia underscores the need for enhanced legal expertise and active participation from all parties in seeking fair and sustainable solutions. Limited access to quality international legal counsel has hindered Indonesia's ability to effectively present its claims, while Malaysia has capitalized on the situation. Persistent disagreements over the islands' ownership and status highlight the importance of strengthening diplomatic efforts and legal capabilities to address complex territorial disputes in Southeast Asia. Greater investment in international legal proficiency and diplomatic initiatives is essential to protect Indonesia's national interests and prevent exploitation by external parties.

Abstract

This research explores the evolution of cybercrime law in the face of developments in informationand communication technology (ICT) over the last few decades. The development of digitaltechnology has provided countless benefits, but has also given rise to increasingly complex threatsin the form of cyber attacks and cybercrime. The aim of this research is to investigate howcybercrime law has evolved in response to changes in ICT and how these developments haveinfluenced the effectiveness of cybercrime law enforcement. This research also analyzes the roleof cross-border cooperation in cybercrime law enforcement and how developments in internationallaw have influenced countries' ability to deal with global cybercrime threats. The research resultsshow that the evolution of cybercrime law includes the establishment of more specific cybercrimelaws and stronger protection of personal data. Cross-border cooperation plays an important role incybercrime law enforcement, including information exchange, joint prosecution, asset freezing, andextradition. Developments in international law, such as the Budapest Convention and the GeneralData Protection Regulation (GDPR), have provided the necessary legal basis for more effectivecross-border cooperation. However, challenges remain, including legal and jurisdictionaldifferences between countries that often hamper law enforcement efforts. Therefore, increasinginternational cooperation and efforts to overcome these obstacles is crucial in maintaining securityand privacy in the ever-evolving digital era. This is because that cyber weaknesses can bedisastrous global threat that threatens the business sector, national security, behavior, childprotection, and government systems.The research results show that today's society still abusesocial media to spread crime in cyberspace.

Abstract

Social interaction is the key to all social life because without social interaction, there can beno shared life. Social interaction is very important in people's lives because socialinteraction will occur when individuals with individuals and groups with human groups whotalk to each other, cooperate, and so on to achieve a common goal, hold competitions,disputes even social control, and so on. Therefore, it can be said that social interaction isthe basis of the social process, which refers to dynamic relationships. The requirements ofsocial interaction are, the absence of social contact and the absence of communication.Meanwhile, society in a broad sense is a group of people who are closely intertwinedbecause of certain systems, certain traditions, conventions and laws alike, and lead tocollective life. According to Soerjono Soekanto, the characteristics of society are living ingroups, giving birth to culture, changing, interaction, the absence of leaders, and havingsocial stratification. The community was also divided into several factions that were the firstto be family, then developed into a community of people, then increased into a politicalsociety, and led to the establishment of formal institutions of the State. In addition, the ruralcommunity is a society that generally still holds cultural values and also still holds thehereditary customs of the ancestors. A common characteristic of rural communities is thatvillagers always have special characteristics in community life including in the running ofsocial interaction. As for the characteristics, namely, working together in doing something,facilities that are still very limited and simple, have a kinship that is still very close, and soon. However, in certain situations and conditions, some characteristics of ruralcommunities undergo several changes including how to interact due to the development oftechnology and information that developed in the era of globalization and the era ofmodernization. Sociology wich means the science that studies society or the dynamics ofsociety or the legal social institutions governing society.
