Abstract

The rapid economic growth has led to the emergence of many new business entities, which in turn intensifies competition across various industrial sectors. As a result, companies focus on enhancing their firm value to remain competitive. This study aims to determine whether liquidity, profitability, and firm size significantly affect firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population studied consists of 19 manufacturing companies in the textile and garment sector listed on the IDX, with a relevant sample of 11 companies. The research method employed is quantitative data collection using documentation techniques, relying on annual financial statements accessed from the official IDX website for the period 2019 to 2023. The research findings show that liquidity has a negative and significant effect on firm value, profitability does not have a significant effect, and firm size has a positive and significant effect on firm value in manufacturing companies in the textile and garment sector listed on the IDX during the period 2019-2023.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence Marketing, Digital Marketing and Promotion in Purchasing Decisions for Ades product in Batam City. In the ever-evolving digital era, it shows that Digital Marketing and Promotion have a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, while Influencer Marketing has an insignificant positive influence. These findings indicate the importance of the role of Influencer, Digital Marketing, and Promotions in improving customer Purchasing Decisions. The recommendation for companies is to focus more resources on collaboration with Influencers and Digital Marketing strategies to increase product attractiveness in the market. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey to respondents who are consumers of Ades product in Batam City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, advertising appeal, and design innovation on Oppo brand purchase loyalty in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. Respondents in this study are Oppo product users in Batam City in 2024, with an unknown number of respondents. Sampling was carried out using the Lemeshow formula with 100 respondents drawn through a purposive sampling method based on certain criteria. The analysis process includes data quality testing, classical assumption testing, influence testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that product quality contributes 20.2% to purchase loyalty, advertising appeal contributes 33.6%, and design innovation contributes 28.1%. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that product quality, advertising appeal, and design innovation together influence purchase loyalty by 83.6%, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study. The t-test and F-test show that product quality, advertising appeal, and design innovation have a positive and significant influence on Oppo brand purchase loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of brand image variables, product innovation and advertisingon purchasing decisions for Sasa Sambal Sauce in Batam City. The sampling technique uses theLemeshow formula because the number of samples is unknown, so the number of respondents in thisstudy is 100 respondents. The data is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution)version 25. The analysis method used is descriptive statistical test, validity test, reliability test, classicalassumption test, influence test, hypothesis test. The results of the study indicate that brand image,product innovation and advertising have a significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions forSasa Sambal Sauce in Batam City. The results of the determination coefficient analysis state that brandimage, product innovation and advertising have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for SasaSambal Sauce by 24.9%. While the rest is influenced by other variables not studied.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the factors influencing Cryptocurrency Investment Decisions among Millennials in Batam City. These factors include Overconfidence, Risk Tolerance, and Financial Experience. The research approach used is quantitative, with primary data collected through distributing questionnaires. The population in this study is 443,180, and the sample size is 100 people, determined using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%. This study uses probability sampling with a random sampling method. The analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing, with data processing using SPSS version 25. The results show that Overconfidence, Risk Tolerance, and Financial Experience have a significant impact on Cryptocurrency Investment Decisions. In conclusion, H1 is accepted, H2 is accepted, H3 is accepted, and H4 is accepted.Keywords: overconfidence, risk tolerance, financial experience, cryptocurrency investment decision.

Abstract

The motivations of accounting students in Batam to utilise Shopee Paylater are investigated in this research with respect to three factors: trust, simplicity of use, and risk. One payment method that has grown in popularity among young people, thanks to the emergence of fintech, is Shopee Paylater. Additional investigation on the elements impacting its attractiveness is necessary, however. The study collected quantitative data by having 150 accounting students from different Batam institutions fill out questionnaires. Using SPSS software, we performed multiple linear regression analyses on the collected data. Students' interest in utilising Shopee Paylater is favourably impacted by trust and convenience of use, and negatively by risk, according to the research. In a big way, these things determine what kids are interested in. Insights from this research may help fintech firms improve their services by boosting trust, making them easier to use, and reducing perceived risks. The significance of fostering financial awareness in the student body is further emphasised

Abstract

Increasingly tight business competition requires companies to implement effective marketing strategies to maintain consumer loyalty. This study aims to evaluate the effect of consumer satisfaction, trust, and experience on the loyalty of Pixy face powder users in Batam City. A quantitative descriptive approach was used in this study involving 204 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques based on the Jacob Cohen formula. The data analysis process includes data quality testing, classical assumption testing, influence testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of the t-test indicate that satisfaction has a positive and partially significant effect on loyalty, trust has a positive and partially significant effect on loyalty, and consumer experience also contributes positively and partially significantly to loyalty. The findings are also reinforced by the results of the F test which indicate that simultaneously, the variables of satisfaction, trust, and consumer experience show a positive and significant effect on loyalty. These findings underline the importance of increasing consumer satisfaction, trust, and experience to maintain the loyalty of Pixy face powder users in Batam City.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce business competition, transparency and accuracy of financial reports are the key to business sustainability. Reliable financial reports help investors, creditors and governments in making strategic decisions. Audits play an important role in ensuring that reports can be trusted and comply with applicable accounting standards, thereby supporting economic stability and growth. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the influence of auditor accountability, independence and professionalism on audit quality at Public Accounting Firms in Batam City. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through distributing questionnaires carried out using the Google Form platform as well as a direct approach to respondents.  Sampling in this study used a quota sampling technique which was determined by the researcher as many as 50 respondents. The results obtained from the partial t test show that accountability has no effect on audit quality, independence has no effect on audit quality, and professionalism has an effect on audit quality. Furthermore, it is known from the results of the simultaneous F test that simultaneously accountability, independence and auditor professionalism have a significant influence on audit quality.

Abstract

Maxim is an online transportation service that has grown rapidly in various countries, including Indonesia. The service offers a variety of transportation options, from taxis to motorcycle taxis, and even includes goods and food delivery services. This study aims to determine the influence of security, trust, and satisfaction on customer loyalty. Maxim in Batam City. This type of research is a quantitative research, the population of this study is the people of Batam City with a sampling technique using the Jacob Cohen formula so that a sample of 204 people was obtained and data processing using SPSS 25. From this study, the results were obtained that security had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a calculated t value greater than the table t, which was 6.019 >1.971 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The trust variable had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a calculated t value greater than the table t, which was 7>3271.971 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, and the satisfaction variable also had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with a t-value of 6.050>1.971 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of e-wom, consumer trust and brand awareness on purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare products in Batam City. This study applies a quantitative research approach. This study involved 100 respondents consisting of people who have purchased and used MS Glow Skincare products in Sagulung District, Batam City. The data collection method applied was through a questionnaire. Data processing was carried out using SPSS software version 26. According to the data and analysis that have been carried out, this study shows that e-wom has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare products in Batam City. In addition, consumer trust has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare products in Batam City. The brand awareness variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare products in Batam City. Simultaneously, e-wom, consumer trust and brand awareness have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for MS Glow Skincare products in Batam City.
