Abstract

Along with the development of worldwide era, we already get into the era that full of technology that can help us relieve many works. Many water resources is wasted on unattended water tub because busyness of people on this worldwide era. Actually people can predict the time when water tub is full but it will consume time, energy and would be forgotten because of the busyness. So that in this worldwide era there is a device named Arduino which can be used to create a technology that boost our creativity. Water tap is a tool that was invented with water pipe. This item is not odd to many people. We usually fill our tub with water to bath, wash, cook. To substitute water tap, there is a device named Solenoid Valve. We can use Solenoid Valve to control the flow of water with electricity so that it can close automatic which replace the function of ordinary water tap. With ultrasonic sensor and microcontroller Arduino we can control the Solenoid Valve so that it can work with command. Coding command of mikrocontroler Ardunio can be written with an software named Arduino IDE with is open-source, multiplatform and also easy to use

Abstract

This study attempts to analyze the quality of services of the Indonesian Sea Security Agency Website with the aim of knowing the difference between actual perceptions and ideal expectations of website users, in this case the Batam Society, which is measured through the WebQual 4.0 approach which is one of the website quality measurement techniques based on user perceptions . The WebQual method used in this study is WebQual version 4.0 which has been modified by adding dimensions to the quality of the user interface with the three main dimensions of WebQual 4.0, namely quality of use, quality of information, and quality of service interactions. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results of the study prove that there is a difference between the actual perceptions and ideal expectations of the Batam Society on each dimension of website service quality, this indicates that the level of quality of services of the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency has not been in line with the expectations of the Batam Community. The mapping results in the Cartesian diagram are expected to be feedback (feedback) for the website management management in developing a strategy to improve the quality of the RI Marine Security Agency website.

Abstract

The research inted to analyze whether the implementation of a quality control system in this company has been controlled based on determined quality targets or not. As well as looking for factors that cause product defects in the production process of RV frames in PT X. This research uses statistical process control method. The results showed that the quality control of the Rv frame production process at PT X had not been controlled as evidenced in the control chart with 6 out of 51 data outside the control limit and in the Pareto diagram table, the percentage of defects was flahes/extra material 32.25%. , product defects due to short mold amounting to 29.64% and product defects due to discoloration of 27.67% then product defects due to overcut 8.92% and product defects due to bending at 1.45% and because it was broken by 0.08%. The factors that cause this damage are machine, human, material, and method factors, but of these four factors there are two factors that cause the most dominant damage affecting quality, namely machine factors and human factors.

Abstract

Selection of suppliers for raw materials on projects in shipyards will greatly affect the production. Because so many suppliers who can meet these needs certainly make it easy for the company. So that the best supplier selection process occurs, but on the other hand requires the company to be able to consider the factors in choosing suppliers that deserve to be the best suppliers. Analytical Hierarchy Process can be used to prioritize the best suppliers. The hierarchical model contained in the AHP method is very helpful in finding the level of criteria and subcriteria. Quality, price, shipping, service, and loyalty are the main criteria in determining the best supplier in this study. While the alternatives are suppliers of AJM, TEB, CIMT, SKS and IMW. Data processing using Microsoft Excel and V choice expert software. 11. The results obtained in this study are the quality criteria being the first priority with a weight of 0.500 followed by price, service, shipping and loyalty. And the alternative supplier of AJM is the first priority with a weight of 3,275 followed by TEB, CIMT SKS and IMW.

Abstract

PT. Tanindo Sentosa is a company engaged in the distribution of food and beverages. In running its business, merchandise inventory at PT. Tanindo Sentosa has not been planned well so that the buying and selling process is not going smoothly. This is due to the lack of inventory of merchandise in the warehouse. The product under study was the Yummy Natural Plan Yogurt size of 1kg, 2.5kg and 500gr. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the optimal merchandise inventory, knowing the safety stock and reorder points. Inventory control can be done using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. EOQ is a calculation of determining the optimal order quantity with a predetermined frequency and when to order again. The results showed that the EOQ method was more efficient than company calculations. The results obtained by the purchase of merchandise merchandise Yummy Natural Plan Yogurt size 1 kg, 2.5 kg and 500gr for the period May 2018 - April 2019 the most optimal according to the EOQ method for 1 kg of Yogurt size is 798 pcs with a frequency of purchase 7 times, Yogurt size 2.5 kg is 482 pcs with a purchase frequency of 10 times and Yogurt 500gr size is 407 pcs with a purchase frequency of 4 times. The results showed that if using the EOQ method the company could find out the optimal number of merchandise orders.

Abstract

Electricity is a source energy need in all aspects of human activity, including in industries, urban society and rural society. Prediction is a logically forecast of the upcoming occurrence based on data and information. Fozzy logics is a method that can be used to solve this issue for it has a strong tolerance toward invalid data and uncertain data. At the present, there is no system that can predict electricity usage yet. This research was conducted to design a decision-making system on the prediction of electricity usage using Fuzzy logics and mamdani method. The data processing system and the system were developed using matlab application with three inputs; power, total KwH and time, resulting in prediction outcomes. The data analysis showed the results of each manual measurement of 50.766, 54.038 and 61.25 respectively. Meanwhile, the results of the system measurement using matlab obtained 50, 57.7 and 60.3 respectively. Therefore, it can be drawn into conclusion that the mamdani method has been able to help the society in making decision related to electricity usage prediction.

Abstract

Leprosy, known as leprosy or hansens disease, is a disease that attacks the skin, the peripheral nervous system, the linning of the upper respiratory tract, and the eyes. Leprosy can cause skin injuries, nerve damage, muscle weakness, and numbness. Leprosy is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium Leprae. This bacterium takes 6 months to 40 years to develop in the human body. Signs and symptoms of leprosy can 1 to 20 years after the bacteria infect the patients body. The goal achieved in this research is to make an application of an expert system that is useful to help obtain information and initial allegations in the diagnosis of leprosy. For this study using the forward chaining method. Forward chaining is a search technique that starts from known fact and then matches the fact with the if part of the IF-THEN rules. The results of this study are that the public, especially patients with leprosy, can solve the problem of leprosy and can provide temporary solutions and alternative treatments for leprosy.

Abstract

PT Pelayaran Batam Samudra is a company engaged in the field of shipping agents, crew formalities, and ship chandling. The problem occurs in the SAFI (Solution for Accounting Finance and Inventory) information system in the purchasing section, the list of items that have been previously inputted does not appear automatically when it will be reused so it becomes uneffective because the list of items must be re-inputted. An information system governance audit is conducted to find out at what level of maturity the system that being used in the company. The method used in this study is Framework Cobit 4.1 with 3 sub domains, PO8, AI2, and ME1. From the result of this study, the average level of PT PBS information system maturity is at 2 – Repeatable but Intuitive.

Along with the rapid development of technology, the need for information is required in support the activities of an organization, especially information that is produced should contain the correct values, timely, accurate and of course save time. School sman 15 batam in this discussion is one of the agency/organization that is engaged in the field of education are still using the system information manually, the system is still there using a sheet of paper and the archive so it can cause data-data that is easily lost or damaged, the data-school data such as data of students, teachers, and the data value is sometimes hard to find when needed, this research aims to design information systems academic school web-based Method used to build this information system is using the waterfall method. The results of this study indicate that the use of the system web-based academic information can be accessed easily as well as provide information that is accurate and timely. This web application is expected to be applied and implemented in order to help the school sman 15 Batam in facilitating the process of teaching and learning

Abstract

Digital education is a technological development that provides a means to provide learning in the form of educational games so that learning seems more practical, easier to understand and more interesting. Learning about computer assembly is known as the activity of assembling all computer hardware components precisely into the casing in accordance with the location of components that are already available as well as a means of introducing the components needed in computer assembly. The teaching and learning process at SMP IT Nurul Muhajirin using manuals downloaded by teachers from the internet with conventional methods this method makes students have difficulty in introducing devices to the computer, because the teacher explains the material in front of the class and students only listen to the material delivered by the teacher. The method used in the design of this Android-based computer assembly education game is the Game Development Life Cyle (GDLC) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, making games using Construct 2 software, assisted with Adobe Photoshop. The results of this study are android-based computer assembly education games that can be used as alternative learning media in IT Nurul Muhajirin Middle School, to increase students insights and knowledge about computers and how to assemble computers.
