The type of research used is quantitative research in the form of an observational survey with the Cross-Sectional approach method, which is a study conducted with momentary observation or in a certain period of time and each study subject is only made one observation during the study. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between clean water facilities and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers with a P-value of 0.000. The P-Value <0.05, On the advice of healthy latrines the results showed that there was a significant relationship between healthy latrines and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers the P-Value was 0.000. The P-Value <0.05, In the suggestion of waste disposal the results showed that there was a relationship between waste management and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers the P-Value result was 0.008. The P-Value < 0.05, In Sara ari waste (SPAL) there is a significant relationship between Sara air limbah (SPAL) with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers the P-Value result is 0.036. P-value < 0.05. The research method used is quantitative, using an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional approach. Based on the research results, which were proven in statistical tests with a value of ρ = 0.645 (ρ value ≤ 0.05), there is no relationship between market cleanliness and SPAL conditions at the Bunta People's Market, Banggai Regency. The value is 0.008 (ρ value ≤ 0.05); namely, there is a relationship between market cleanliness and the condition of the trash bins at the Bunta People's Market, Banggai Regency. The value of ρ = 0.00 (ρ value ≤ 0.05) is that there is a relationship between market cleanliness and the behaviours of traders, visitors, and the public at the Bunta People's Market, Banggai Regency. Abstract

Stunting is an abnormal condition of the body caused by more than one factor (multifactorial). the combination of inadequate sanitation and unsafe drinking water quality and poor food sanitation hygiene behaviour is a risk factor for stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for drinking water treatment and food processing with the incidence of stunting in children under five in Kalora Village. This type of research is an analytical observational approach, case control research design. The sample size is 104 case and control respondents with total sampling technique. To assess the effect of the two variables, univariate analysis and bivariate analysis were used. The test used for bivariate analysis is the Odd Ratio (OR) test. The results of this study are drinking water treatment is a risk factor for stunting with an OR value of 5.296 (OR> 1), meaning that households that carry out drinking water treatment processes that are not good will have a 5.3 times higher risk of stunting compared to households that do not use drinking water properly. good drinking water treatment. Food processing is a risk factor for stunting with an OR value of 26.278 (OR> 1), meaning that households that process food processing that is not good will have a 26.3 times higher risk of stunting compared to households with good food processing. From the results of this study, it is hoped that the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations will synergize and improve comprehensive promotive and preventive efforts in terms of stunting prevention in the Kinovaro Health Canter area.

Abstract

The importance of immunization can be seen from the number of toddlers who die from diseases that can be prevented by vaccination (VPD). This research aims to determine the factors related to the completeness of basic immunization among toddlers aged 12-23 months during the Covid-19 pandemic in Layana Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City. This type of research is an analytical survey method using a cross sectional approach. Determination of the sample in this research was carried out using Proportional Random Sampling. The sample taken was 63 people and used Chi-square test data analysis. The results of this study show that there is no relationship between knowledge and completeness of basic immunization in toddlers with a p-value = 0.211 (p > 0.05), there is no relationship between motivation and completeness of basic immunization in toddlers with a value of, p-value = 1.000 (p > 0.05), and there is no relationship between the role of health workers and completeness of basic immunization for toddlers with p-value = 0.253 (p > 0.05). This research recommends increasing the level of maternal knowledge regarding the completeness of immunization by increasing outreach in each sub-district and providing health education to posyandu cadres so that they can assist health workers in increasing community knowledge regarding immunization.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a major global health burden, with dietary factors playing a significant role in their prevention and management. This study examines the impact of dietary interventions, particularly the Mediterranean diet, DASH diet, and plant-based diets, on reducing NCD risk. A systematic literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science to identify relevant studies on the relationship between dietary patterns and NCDs. The findings reveal that adherence to nutrient-rich diets improves metabolic health, reduces inflammation, and lowers the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity. However, challenges such as limited access to healthy foods, socioeconomic barriers, and gaps in healthcare provider knowledge persist. Policy recommendations include increasing subsidies for nutritious foods, regulating unhealthy food advertising, and integrating dietary education into healthcare systems. Multidisciplinary approaches, including digital health interventions and community-based programs, are necessary to enhance adherence to dietary modifications. Future research should explore the long-term effects of dietary interventions, the role of nutrigenomics, and microbiome-diet interactions in disease prevention. Strengthening dietary strategies in public health and clinical practice is crucial to reducing NCD prevalence and improving global health outcomes.

Abstract

Digital health literacy (DHL) is a fundamental determinant of individuals’ ability to navigate, assess, and utilize online health information effectively. This study examines the systemic factors influencing DHL outcomes, the role of public health institutions in mitigating literacy disparities, and the implications for healthcare accessibility. A systematic review methodology was employed, analyzing literature from databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The findings highlight that healthcare policies, education systems, and cultural factors shape individuals’ digital health competencies. While digital health interventions improve access to health information, barriers such as misinformation, digital divides, and disparities in digital competencies persist. Public health institutions play a critical role in addressing these challenges through structured education programs, policy advocacy, and targeted community engagement initiatives. The study underscores the necessity of integrating digital health literacy training into educational curricula, professional development for healthcare providers, and public health campaigns to enhance equitable healthcare access. Future research should focus on evaluating DHL interventions, standardizing assessment frameworks, and exploring strategies to combat misinformation in digital health contexts. Improving digital health literacy is essential for empowering individuals, enhancing patient engagement, and fostering more inclusive digital healthcare environments.
